- i hit the upload button to get yall some content. Couldve explained a few things better, but I hope the gist of it made sense. Biggest takeaways are
-absolute ceiling (what a perfect robot can do)
-realistic ceiling (what a talented player can do at their best)
-average play of high skill player ceiling (what a talented player does often)
-the toolbox of what the subclass (situational flexibility)
-the team composition strengths (does it multiply a team's strengths?)
I let my play experience judge what best represents a mix of all of the above to place the class in its according tier. - Ігри
1:48 - Dawnblade, Sentinel
3:00 - Behemoth, Sunbreaker
4:38 - Gunslinger, Arcstrider
6:52 - Striker
8:47 - Threadrunner
12:38 - Shadebinder
18:03 - Voidwalker
23:35 - Revenant
25:49 - Nightstalker
27:34 - Berserker, Broodweaver
33:02 - Stormcaller
35:34 - Tier list recap and closing thoughts
Thank you
"Am I a joke to you?" - Blade Barrage
Bakris Revenant?
@@Deep_Waters yeah where is blade :(
The mind games are what keeps destiny pvp fresh for me, I love that high skill lobbies involve more mental games than just straight up shooting/movement skill. Shadebinder is sooooo good at getting into peoples heads
As a Solar Warlock main since D1 Day 1, I’m WELL aware of how good we are for not just this, but like every activity in the game.
Yeah. Compared to other warlock subclasses, solar is just disgustingly good. So much synergy you can do on a solar warlock compared to other subclasses.
@@CFEKOSMOS it also has some of the best exotics in the game build into it easily.
I still feel void is better over all for solo play on warlock cause devour will save ur skin so often
@malcolmcole4689 Restoration x2 does the same thing lol.
@@CFEKOSMOS void is better for solo play because of higher damage buffs with emp rift and weaken, just requires slightly more skill than just "cast well"
Showing the final list in the thumbnail was a good move. It motivated me to watch to find out your reasons 🙂
This. Tierlist first, reasons later. Should be the same with weapons.
If there was ever going to be someone I put all my faith into on topics of competitive picks and learning to improve yourself, it's Cammy. The amount of foresight he has while still maintaining a humble but realistic view of himself is wild. I found Cammy by accident back in the earlier days of D2 and have been watching his videos since, and there has yet to be a moment where he's disappointed.
Strand Warlock got more playstyles than just threadlings or "armor-lock". The looping capacity of one-shot grapple melee (Mindspun) + Suspending tangle (The Wanderer) is kind of insane. The easiest 1v3s of my career in Trials. The Super is godawful though, and I'd argue it's not even functional in PvP.
Honestly, I’ve had that super just completely whiff in tight spaces
Necrotic grips are dope, 2 handcannon headshots and a melee will kill without, but with them it’s 1 head 1 body and a melee
I enjoy the class, but like you said that super is SO GOD AWFUL that I cannot stand to use it, like I’d rather use behemoth super than it, and that’s saying something
What's so bad about the super? Sure the threadling part is lame but the needles themselves do hit what you point them at
@@Criiies They don't though. Only direct hit kills, no AOE. So people can just move out the way. It's not hard when the super has a 2 seconds startup animation and the tracking only procs from long range.
People can just jump, dodge, dash at the right time and take 0 damage. While you're struck in midair with endlag. A single barricade renders the whole super useless... The tracking on it will make it curve into walls, doing no damage.
It's honestly not functional. You need to catch someone in the wide open, far enough away for the tracking to work, and they need to be at least 4 seconds away from any cover, which never happens in this game.
I like your insight on 99% of things because you're not just good at meta picks, you take the time to learn other things like flux nades or the shenanigans you do where you force spooky trials but the best thing about this video has to be the mention of just how high the ceiling is for strand hunter even though the community isn't there yet and just how locked in arc warlocks are when you see them. Like if you don't know what they're capable of an arc warlock will not hesitate to nodif your whole squad and it really doesn't even need an exotic. Always looking forward to your content because you're always cooking. Keep it up
I remember at GCX hearing you talk about subclass rankings for solo while talking with Time. Glad its come to fruition
This was excellent and I have to say man, your insight on these is good enough to reveal both things that I should be capitalizing on because I didn't know about certain synergies or things just fit my personal playstyle better but it also revealed things that are glaring faults in my playstyle when I approach some of these subclasses. You're my favourite Destiny content creator for a reason and this video is an excellent example of why that is the case. Would love to see more content like this in the future too ^^
Loved the video cammy! I really appreciate having something to listen to while I work when my task isn’t very engaging. This type of video is perfect for that!
No I will not stop using these amazing long videos to procrastinate my Python assignment :^)
I'm on the same boat but for Network study. CCNP can wait 46 minutes lol
I am also procrastinating my python assignment lol
you say procrastination, but with python I call that mercy from the hell
Behemoth shines with Collective Action imo. CA + 2 surges is a 16% damage buff for free, which can TTK shift a lot of archetypes. Really good on the new crucible smg
if you have a teammate willing to run boots of the assembler and lumina, it goes to a ≈30% overall damage boost
Plus you can get a lot of ice going for OS, and have the long melee for quick fleeing or trading. Very underrated if used correctly.
ok the dishes was a callout that was NOT needed
Bruh i swear he was talking straight to me for a moment 😂

This style of video is always helpful, I would like to see all of these builds in action, I like seeing you take something that you deem D or C tier and making it S+ or S-. I’m interested in your blink warlock build as that’s one of my go to’s in pvp at the moment. The other is Getaway Artist Stormcaller but blink has always been my favourite way to play in the crucible
44:15 cannot tell you how many seventh columns i have clutched thanks to gunpowder gamble. it is one of my favorite things in destiny.
Great points about golden gun. crazy how many comments i've had on my videos or have seen calling for yet another golden gun nerf. it is SO easy to counter especially 6 shooter, and i’m probably crazy but i feel it has been stealth nerfed since mid season of the seraph.
Wow, I feel like golden gun needs a buff if anything haha.
6 shooter is fairly weak rn tbh. I exclusively use it in momentum for clips and not for any practical uses.
@@Kairgb if you saw some of my comments you'd be amazed lol
Graviton forfeit with nightstalker is my favorite hunter build. The extra invis time opens up a lot of flanks/rotations where you’re completely off radar and can get free kills basically.
Athrys embrace gunslinger is underrated. Especially when paired with something like vigi wing to get the buff super easy.
You don’t need the buff for the aim assisted throwing knives 😊😊😊
Have fun!!
@@justin9489still nice for the oneshots
Played on your team today when you were running sweet business. We were up 4-0 and I got the boot from an error code and couldn’t rejoin. I saw your stream and you guys ended up with the W. Nice to see you out in the wild!
As a lifetime PvE player who's dipping their toes into PvP, this was a good video for me to determine where to start my journey. This aspect of the game is so unfamiliar to me, and there's so many options that things can seem overwhelming! Having someone go down the list of classes and point out the good and bad aspects to each of them really helps solidify what I want to be focusing on, and I feel more confident going into the Crucible now. I'm still probably going to suck early on, but at least I'll be failing forwards, instead of just failing.
28:10 I can vouch for the armor lock broodweaver. using your rift to make an eight threadling shotgun is also surprisingly effective if you know where to place your rift
Thinking about making this build with the stag rn
Genuinely excited to see you play Gemini blink hunter. Sincerely, an Arcstrider who can't give up the feeling of beating a Titan in a fistfight.
Broodweaver w/ the swarmers is really strong imo, threadlings set up the first kill and wanderer tangles basically guarantees you follow ups. Also the rebirth fragment w/ a hatchling gun blows up hand holding teams on a level that borders cloudstrike (round robin works great for this)
I found it really interesting to hear your perspective on this - what's the best from the POV of an Expert vs Average Player. I feel like Average Player finds Arc Titan and Void Titan flipped for example
This is my input on the Berserker Class.
I have been maining exclusively Strand Titan since a few weeks into Lightfall and it is so unique and powerful. I agree the melee's are great dodge tools that I always want on a low cooldown but Flechette storm can be very unexpecting when played corrrctly. It is weird to aim but once you get the feel for it you can wipe a whole team from across a map with just the green Titan Blade Barrage. I also tend to run the Suspend grenade and barricade. The barricade is the perfect "parry" tool for opponents who are too aggressive and I always feel like I have an option when that is up. For the grenade, it is very unforgiving but splitting the nade off of walls and different angles lets you suspend people and hold them there while you either get a free kill or at least close the gap.
The super can be good but sometimes the tracking is too much and othertimes not enough, to the point where it is annoying. It also has a hard time fighting any other super that has range so it's counter-super plays can feel limited a lot of the time.
I truly do enjoy this sunclass so much and feel as though it can perform very well, it's just at a disadvantage to the easier to use and more forgiving subclasses.
I love any content from you man. As long as it's content you're passionate about
Really enjoyed it cammy! Always enjoy your thoughts
I'm a stasis hunter main, and I strongly agree with all of your placements. Especially with strand hunter being the strongest hunter class in the game by a country mile: I've been eating up rumble lately and I have my highest k/d and win percentage using strand, especially against good players. It kind of blows me away how powerful I feel when I'm using it.
Awesome to see strand hunter being up there. I’ve always seen the potential of that subclass. Will switch over to it after YAS is nerfed
my favorite build for strand hunter ive been using recently has been judgement of kelgorath with max range, impulse amp, and demo, cyrtarachne for woven mail, the fragments that give grenade energy on damage and creating a tangle on kill while you have woven mail, plus the tornado tangle aspect and all together you get a build with so much damage resist im not sure how the math works, combined with good mobility, a little strand buddy to make space and get people moving, and a bunch of cool damage combos like tangle into glaive shot, grapple melee into glaive shot, tangle into grapple melee, glaive shot into grapple melee, tangle into throwing dart or throwing dart into glaive shot. a lot of options that take half of an opponents health away that can be combined for a kill. i really like the build because it supports the glaives weaknesses while bolstering its strengths, and vive versa. woven mail only affects body shots, so when combined with the already pretty solid 50 dr shield that can only take body shots you're looking at six damage per 140 handcannon shot if i remember right. the "slow" ttk that turns people off from glaives is supplemented by obviously being more tanky but also by being able to create pseudo one shots. the slow movement while blocking hurts less when you can grapple out of (or into) danger whenever necessary and the tornado buddy either makes people more aggressive or more defensive, and both are pretty good for a glaive user since you can either push and take advantage of them being taken off guard by the tornado or just let them come to you and get stuck between a natural disaster and a sharp place.
Great video!
Currently playing Revenant Hunter this season but already have my Arc / Gemini build saved and ready for next season (Thorn/Without Remorse Shotty). Not sure I'm going to commit to the blink though. Also trying to decide on which grenade to use
I've been playing with Arbor Warden and Strand in checkmate and I'm having a blast. Using it with rally barricade is great, because of the high uptime and it also can setup some crazy plays and multikiils with Drengr's Lash suspend from the barrinade. I use my grapple only for emergencies purposes and just keep cycling barrinades because of the low cooldown.
I'm sure this video is great, and i'm glad it was made for those that will utilize this information. Thanks for making it.
Behemoth imo is now one of the highest skill ceiling subclasses in the game, if you're running 3 behemoths with the same build then no absolutely not but as a predominantly solo player who mains behemoth it does have a very high skill ceiling, I can't wait for the behemoth video
How are you using it? The biggest argument I've seen for solo behemoth is its natural synergy with anteaus wards. Once anteaus gets nerfed its best strength will probably be movement followed by coldsnap freezes. Not saying those are weak options but they make build crafting incredibly difficult for 3s. You want 100 res and rec but also want 7+ int for when games are close, you want high disc for faster snaps, you want high strength to actually use shiver strike as a movement tool; just so tiresome. I just don't see a reason to use it over strand ngl yg.
@@HP-Ice the way I use it is with movement exotics like dunes or PKS and even One eyed mask, anteus is good but once the nerf comes I'd rather be used to not having that shield.
For aspects I use cryoclasm and tectonic harvest, fragments are shards, chains and conduction. The fourth fragment is versatile I personally use Rime as a backup instant health regen (you can use hunger instead for more melee energy from your shards), you don't need 100 resil but it is recommended and 100 recov is a must, and I speced into discipline rather then strength as your shards from your glacier nade give you melee energy as well as it can be a makeshift barricade to get a rez if needed, 7-8 intellect is definitely a must if you're planning on using it in trials so you can sacrifice discipline for intellect instead, 6-7 disc will serve just fine for your glacier grenade as shards can help boost your ability regen, also I do recommend a siphon mod for your primary of choice and stacks on stacks if you choose to run double utility kickstart like I did if you can't hit 100 resil
Aside from that go for it, don't forget if you choose to run dunes and you're not an overly aggressive player you can use pulses like no time to explain or even revision zero as they both can help building into the stasis kit
I have been using that precious scars build you mentioned for a few months now in trials and it wins me rounds and games. I know people will say "well you need a revive for the exotic" like yha I and multiple people here probably deal with teammates that get picked quickly and we need to carry. Very strong build, only issue is you have to play sunbreaker to use conditional + igneous or another solar handcannon.
+1 I've been running it for months and it makes flawless very easy with a wave frame GL and AR
I’ve been really liking dragons shadow arc hunter for the sheer about of ways you have to get the dodge back, lethal current is so strong and the overall handling and weapon uptime is second to none!
Thank you for telling me to stop procrastinating my work Cammy, someone had to do it. It feels much better to have it done and THEN watch the video, I appreciate the reminder xD
Just a small thing that elevates strand classes a bit more- the buff to the fragment that causes sever on consecutive crits now works in pvp with auto rifled now. It provides a easy neutral way to get tangles for classes like threadrunner and broodweaver where you have real powerful tangle skills
I've been playing some private rumble games with my clanmates and I'm finding Voidlock VERY useful with the newer exotic gauntlets Briarbinds plus crafted Word of Crota with Repulsor Brace.
When it all clicks, I get Devour, an overshield, orbs of power, Child does area of denial etc. I'm able to disorient even better players from time to time
Thanks for the reminder to stop procrastinating my assignment. You were right, this video will be beter after it's done
I recently started playing strand hunter for trials. I'm barely scratching the surface with it, but I have had several of the best rounds of my trials career. The potential for aerial plays combined with using Gemini Jesters with the decoy for radar manipulation are very good.
i can respect your opinion on arc warlock, but personally the chip damage of arc souls can be all the difference even against good players, even with peak shot being the true meta as always, they can really be the difference maker when you hit 1 body shot when you shouldve hit a crit with an smg.
8:41 couldn’t agree more the rubber banding on arc is basically immunity frames helping with that 1v3.
Love your long form content man. Keep it up
I love that your loadout list for warlock has "Epicdefender 2X GL". I've been watching him lately and trying that build out too
the doing the dishes callout and putting off work was on point
I use Nova Warp to break Titan bubbles all the time. It's great because they don't expect it.
Cooldown diff makes that difficult though
I would love to see a video of you explaining the skill ceiling you can do with strand Hunter
Would love to see some footage/a breakdown of your strand titan play style/build sometime. As a titan main, outside of bubble/missile it doesn’t really feel like anyone uses or provides resources on how to optimally use anything else
wow great idea- Lumina + ARC Warlock + Aeon gauntlets in 6v6 means you get your class ability back right away to hand out those arc souls. I might try this out.
as someone who’s played d2 for a few years and keeps coming back to solar hunter, b tier is pretty fair. i’m tempted to argue for low a tier because blade barrage is a decent counter to bubble if you use it right (or don’t have conditional finality), but b tier is a good spot. it’s very accessible yet perfectly viable, especially with exotics like calibans hand or frostees. i love it for the weighted throwing knife specifically, and there’s an exotic for that too.
I’ve been using strand hunter religiously for two seasons and yes… it is indeed really good. I always pair it with bombardiers and yeah basically you almost always go down with at least a trade. People still fall for it and the mobility on this class is insane. I’ve won so many 1v3s with this.
The thing about bungie balance tho is that it revolves around most of the pvp player bases’ feedback and what they are mostly playing. And people don’t get angry at strand hunters nearly as much as teleporting titans, and bungie will probably leave it as is for awhile. And I’m happy having one w in destiny. 2 with the thorn catalyst. My thorn wave gl threadrunner build is gonna be insane next season
I am curious how, if you were on bungie's team for balancing the ability sandbox, how you would change the subclasses that are a bit too hot versus the ones that maybe need to be brought up a bit
I highly highly recommend trying out The Manticore on Strand Hunter. Run Widow’s Silk, Ensnaring Slam, a kinetic sniper with really high handling/AE, and manticore. You end up with a neutral damage buff on a 900rpm smg that also has the surprise factor of the floating. Using double jump or grapple can cancel the floating as well. Paired with Cyrtarachne or Stomp335 (my personal pick) and you have an answer to literally every possible situation.
Big tip: don’t use a whole grapple charge if you have the time to place a grapple point first. Saving half your grenade charge leads to permanent uptime on thread of ascent thanks to the refund from the grapple point. The mind games are on point too considering the enemy team has to make the 50/50 guess between aggro play or defensive zoning from you.
No other class has this skill ceiling, has this many tools, while having a surprising lack of “instant win” abilities.
I could see Manticore being a sleeper pick if either a meta shift or some clever buildcrafting makes it possible to mitigate the 18.61m range. As it stands you're barely beating out the rangiest sidearms, which don't take up your exotic slot and have as-good or almost-as-good TTK, even with Manticore's pseudo-Target Lock effect.
Love these videos cammy!🔥
I get excited when Cammy uploads
I agree with what you're saying about stand hunter. I've been addicted to it since it came out lol. I think most ppl aren't they're yet too. But when they all get there it'll be a problem.
I agree with basically everything except that I think you MASSIVELY underrated gunslinger, either athrys embrace or young ahamkaras spine can buff your melee or grenade to be arguably the best in the game, blade barrage is a fast cooldown consistent super and acrobatic dodge is the most reliable weapon buff in the entire game. Imo it’s a+ to s- tier and I don’t really understand how it’s any lower than that
I was doing dishes watching this in the background. Did not expect to be called out ❤
swarmers with navigator/wanderer and surplus/ep bottom dollar is a kit i'm obsessed with -- i just get my teammates to run transmutation and give them free grapple points and woven mail in exchange for suspending+unraveling tangles while pocketing at least two melee charges for what is basically max handling igneous with explosive payload
The fact that he said “I know y’all enjoy videos while doing the dishes” has never spoken so close to my soul than that. Spot on Mr. Cakes
cam just talking about his opinions of the game are my favorite of his.
i dont even play destiny 2 anymore but i still watch every vid this man puts out
I could listen to hours of this. I want to explore some strand titan now. Strand hunter too but its kinda intimidating to get good with
As soon as you started talking about the potential for strand Titan I started thinking about the exact same dmt and lion rampant build right before you brought it up 😅
while the synergy is there on console, it still just solar warlocks heat rises + icarus dash at home,
lion rampart is basically heat rises but hipfire only and requires an exotic
strand melee is icarus dash but requires the use of a pretty long melee cooldown.
on pc i just can't see the use for strand titan at all.
It would be good to see your video on the vault maintenance u said you were doing , why u keep or delete weapon/armor rolls stuff like that and The tools u use to see what’s better.
New Cammy tierlist, let's go!
The dishes comment is so accurate 😂 I literally put this on the TV as I do chores around the house😊
Man I have absolutely fallen in love with the Hunter Strand Aspect Whirling Maelstrom, its just made PvP feel more enjoyable for me which I haven't felt in what feels like a long time as I've been a Warlock main
How so? Are the first two not just too good?
I’ve played almost 500 hrs of strand hunter and still only really use the original ones
@@jebaited05honestly I took forever to beat the Lightfall Campaign with my Hunter to unlock the Strand kit, so I don't have much experience with the OG aspects besides the one that gives you a 2nd Grapple plus places a Grapple point when using a Grapple grenade, the Strand Beyblade has gotten me some wild plays since you can also Grapple to it while it's moving towards enemies which gives you a general idea of where to aim your weapon/melee if/when you do grapple to it, all of this has overall improved how much fun I've been having in PvP as of late and makes me consider switching to a Hunter main for a few seasons, shake things up a bit
Look forward to playing Checkmate and trying different subclasses
Im glad strand titan got the recognition it deserves. The melee is truly exceptional movement on controller, it's like 12th coyote and I feel like a scumbag.
Naturally, I pair it with Khepri's horn to throw a 19m long wave that smites all who defy me, making a tangle and often an orb in the process for woven mail and melee regen. Also solar kills give 25% barricade energy so that's self charging and compliments devil's ruin or something.
My loadout is so 'processed' (I crutch my barricade really hard all the time) I can just use abilities and a primary. My second weapon is often titan glaive for zone unless the enemy is challenging.
I'm also batshit insane
I’m almost exclusively an off-meta Titan player (mostly Behemoth, Berserker, sometimes Sunbreaker, almost never play Sentinel and Striker), and MAN I wish Titan subclasses weren’t so polarized on the usability scale. I hope Bungie finds a way to close the distance between these subclasses without making them completely busted and/or un-fun (un-nerfed Loreley, team Hoarfrost).
The problem is titan is very clearly put in specific boxes where as warlock and hunter tend to be pretty flexible because they're hyper mobile with zero exotic needs and have some ridiculous utility options where a player who really knows the kit can definitely bend you over. On the other hand titan has some ridiculous picks that are strong for VERY specific reasons that usually only require basic builds so they're hype for a bit then they're middle of the pack after the nerf without considering the melee range increase shenanigans and outlier exotics that for whatever reason evaded nerfs up to this point. Hopefully with the next dlc and the episodes we see more frequent subclass tuning that balances things without making things boring on either side but that's gonna require bungie to look really closely and what's successful, where and why and furthermore people need to put their bias aside and accept that even if you don't like a specific class for whatever reason (even with all the cheese in the game) you probably lose against said class because you're making mistakes or you're missing something so it's up to you to play better and not take the game so seriously.
Idk if it matters but I used to main hunter through all of D1 and some of D2 but at some point void, solar, and stasis warlock made me switch mains and I can't look back. I can play all 3 classes pretty effectively but I hate the way titan jump feels in general. I can use movement tech and Frankenstein some wild builds but that jump just DOESN'T vibe with me.
good video. i have some questions from an endgame pve player that wants to be better in pvp:
1) i know it would likely be a lot of work but what do you think are some perks/ weapon archetypes that are ideal for certain playstyles? (example: i main the laneing voidwalker in pvp so pulse rifles that can irritate snipers or perks like demo are ideal for that and so are weapons that can chain with devour)
2) what/why would certain playstyles want stat distributions (keeping in mind perks like demo or thread of generation). what playstyles do you think value the base stats (lack of a better term, mobility, resilience, recovery) over ability stats?
3) given how you've defined the s+ tier, what do you think are the most realistic and least cost effective (as far as your build is concerned) ways to counter their strengths?
4) just out of curiosity, what is your favorite build to play for fun?
I’ve mainly played Strand hunter since it came out and I’ve been telling people it’s the craziest of the 3. I consider myself slightly ahead of the bell curve & on being able to move better than others consistently gives me 27+ defeats. Especially on Jav and the new Map. Not really a suspend person but once I saw you can suspend Missile im starting to practice 💀
I think stormcaller is a or even s tier for mid to lower skill players/ solos with inconsistent teams. Giving your randos free damage through arc souls, while also having a a 1v3 potential through the nasty melee is great. Unfortunately the supers are very weak and longish cooldowns, and the gernades are fine but outclassed by most other subs.
As I’m getting more comfortable with weavewalk, I just stay alive. I can contest zones and get an army of distraction units as I peg them with my keep away eots adept iggy. I’m loving it and glad it’s back using eye on another world
Claws of ahemkara with storm caller is straight up and team wiping machine
It requires good prefire of ball lightning followed directly (I mean by frame) with a slide melee and maybe some clean up with a smg
It’s just very reliant on CQC and team bunching
I kinda want to try it on a well with a storm grenade primer and maybe a Monte Carlo for better clean up depending on how severely they nerf smg recoil
Super aggressive, super risky, but the reward can be huge
I run a similar kamikaze build for strand hunter if I see a team is playing way to close together. I may die, but I’m taking them with me 9/10 if conditions are met.
HOW THE HELL DID HE KNOW I WAS DOING THE DISHES? had to dry my hands to type this :(
I enjoyed this version of vide9 structure ^_^
If you're playing void warlock with the child you should give briarbinds a try. Makes dealing with it much more annoying for your opponents since you can also grab it and throw it again after getting your kill, so in theory you could "chain throw" it.
Cammy, if you dont absolutely grime revenant, where would you put it? I've been playing it for years with bakris, and i don't necessarily grime, but i do like my dodge to be up as soon as possible.
I definitely think its a strong subclass, but obviously it doesnt really compete with strand hunter, bubble titan, well lock, arc titan, etc.
When you mentioned the strand clone.. I don't even play much or competitively lately, but I already got vietnam flashbacks from it. It's that annoying for a single ability.
Broodweaver with Necrotic grips plus Thorn. You can melee people from outsite Thorn's range and then shoot them, unraveling plus Corruption x2 hurts a lot.
I was doing a variation of this in Checkmate, but instead of unravel it's Child of the Old Gods. Probably pros and cons to each--Strand is more of a cohesive zoning kit (at least the way I conceive of it--Threadling nade, Weaver's Call, Weavewalk), where Void is more of a toolbox of counters for things--suppressor grenade, boop, blink, and so forth.
Im very curious how Stasis will sit after the buffs coming to it, we know stasis is getting buffed but how much is the question
and tbh the current 5 (4) super tiers should Imo be condensed to 3 well and bubble are just far to efficient to not run in a comp setting
I feel so called out when he started talking about my dishes as I was doing them… super good vid though. Even while I procrastinate 😅
Demo or headstone eyasluna will keep the shadebinder engine running really consistently especially with osmiomancy.
Thank you as always!
I just played a shadebinder in trails, a rare sight for some reason, and he absolutely was oppressive. I couldn’t be near my tm8 bc the cold snaps and the eventual shatter I couldn’t push him bc stacy. I was isolated bc of him while he wasnt
If it was me, sorry haha.
I definitely think stormcaller needs another look. between the busted kill potential on the slide melee and storm trance with crown of tempest, it's my go-to pvp class
Also arc souls go stupid in obj based 6s
Crown of Tempest in PVP lolol. It's a one trick pony that comes with a lot of risk. Yeah terror uses it and he's cracked, but he'd be more cracked on Dawn
@@VAVORiALskill issue ig, CoT gets me pretty consistent 7th columns, plus easy to proc ability regen with arc soul/slide melee kills

You had no right to call me out about my assignment 😂
I've only ever been able to make Strand Hunter work as an anti-ape build. Anything else just falls flat. Maybe it performs far better in a well-oiled, coordinated machine, but I'll never see that because I play almost exclusively solo.
Laughed out loud because I literally am doing my dishes while listening to this
I really enjoy a slightly structured rant like this! So yes just upload to upload.
Would love a deep dive video for invis and nightstalker by extension
A bow with the strand hunter rope dart is really strong and hard to counter
So general question: how much does this account for knowing what your teammates are going to bring? Threadrunner seems to get exponentially stronger the more Strand players are on your team because of its ability to make grapple points, for instance, but as I'm not surrounded by players who care to bring things that aren't "whatever seems individually good to me at the moment" (comfort picks in other words) I'm not sure how much I should value that aspect of it. Etc etc
As an extension: could you make an argument about what the best Trials or Comp composition is with that information? Well Threadrunner Threadrunner? Well Bubble Shadebinder? Well Bubble Nova?
@@life-destiny1196id like to see that tier list too. Trials team comps
Strand warlock is so fun to play now that we finally have weavewalk back. Trading one melee charge for five perched threadlings is huge value when you have a build fully specced for cooldown reductions. Having a better chance to escape when my teammates get sniped at the start of a comp round is also very valuable. Is it going to be winning any tournaments? No...but it's pretty good and really fun. The super is absolute worthless dog meat though.
Single-handedly brought me back to the game. Love this f’ing guy.
Arc warlock + getaway artists is criminaly under rated. Consume your nade for amped then you are faster than transversive steps, more handling than ophidians, the super arc soul can last infinitely and do enough damage to make your 120 a 2 shot.
Yeah, if you’re within range and if you’re in the open enough for all of the arc shots to hit, with your handcannon shots.
^definition of a conditional build.
cammy for behmoth to be viable you have to use the perk collective action and get a ttk shift
Blink voidwalker has always been my main for so long and always found success with it.
Used this video as background noise to shave. Thx dude
