Hello I love your recipes but I can't find the shrimp gumbo
That's because I filmed a tutorial for Chicken and Sausage Gumbo but you can add or substitute shrimp.
Why not add the tomato sauce and canned tomatoes with the onion and garlic. The frying makes the tomato flavour ‘pop’

@@PMGK maybe some big city new Orleans version of a creole jambalaya but it's not a cajun jambalaya
1 GREEN BELL PEPPER only option
2 No olive oil... pork fat... preferably smokey pork fat
3 no clam juice
4 no tomato sauce... maybe some diced tomatoes if you are making a creole jambalaya
5 if rice was perfect after 20 minutes then you added tomato sauce and cooked 10 more minutes that means the rice was mushy.
So you can call me a #dumbass all you want but fact is this looks like a tastey tomato shrimp and sausage rice dish... but this is closer to Spanish paella than jambalaya [and yes I know jambalaya has origins from Spanish paella and west african rice jollof].
I think he’s right it’s to much liquid in it and no tomatoes and tomato sauce 🥫 either. This is the creole version. I’m not a fan of this kind.
