Cold sweats, hot shivers, no get up n go, no energy to spare or stamina
Lack of sleep, itchy skin, can be overwhelming, you put on a brave face for the family
Stomach bloated and flatulence, without any influence, you fart and you burp uncontrollably
Always sleepy and tired, in a world of your own, thinking how to keep hold of your sanity
It's so surreal, these things that you feel, and friends will show their true colours
The ones that you love, will be there for your good, and treat you like they are your mothers
Loved ones are worried, is this the end, of the one they love so dearly
The fight is on, the battle begins, the future no longer viewed clearly
It's just the start, it will take time, test your strength and mental ability
At times you may need, to be alone and daydream, finding solace in your own tranquility
Your physical strength will pull you through, although it will be diminished
Stay mentally strong, for however long, it takes until it's finished
The treatment is hard, makes you feel bad, but it's eatng away at the issue
Immune system suffers, take care where you go, avoid anyone with a sniffle and tissue
And in the end you'll find, your own peace of mind, as your progress is shared periodically
The therapy is working, destroying not shirking, eating the problem methodically
my aunt got this cancer in begining of pandemic when discovered it was stage 4 she got 2 big surgeries right after discovery(2 days after discovery) even tho it wasn't necessary for her type of cancer as experts told us after we took the initiative to get different opinions rather than her family i was so shocked wanted to sue them for malpractice but as im not her husband or child i couldn't. Now her cancer has became metastatic and doctor's saying its terminal. I wish everyone who gets cancer a speedy recovery and always ask for 2nd, 3rd opinions do not rush it ! Your health can't be recovered but money can.
these cancer sucks been on remission 1 year and half and most days i feel sick
My husband has lymphoma but biopsy are still under examine
Can people survive this cancer ?
Sure hope so. I'm stage 4 and my oncologist seems very confident I'll have it beat this year.
Indeed you can as I have.I have a rare T Cell Lymphoma called Mycosis Fungoides at stage 2b.Mind you had it occured outside the era of modern medicine I'd almost certainly be dead due to infection of tumours. However I have been told that without a Stem Cell transplant I am unlikely to live more than 5 years.
Yes, I was diagnosed with Non hodgepodge lymphoma stage 3 cell , I had 6 chemo treatments and just finished 17 radiation treatments and my last pet scan was clear 🙏
