You are doing well.pls where did you get your nichrome and, where do you buy your electronics.
You can give it more finishing by smoothing it from sand paper and colour it to make it a shining wing.
I like how your adjustable hot wire cutter is set up for long angles. It is a smart design, but I see one flaw. The spring should never be in the circuit. It is a coil which acts as a resistor, it is steel which is not a good conductor, and it looses tension when it heats up. The cutter would be much more efficient if you attach the power supply to the same end of the spring that holds the resistance wire. I have seen some people attach it straight to the wire with a clip that can slide up and down, and they use that to adjust the heat.
All I know for now is that without that spring at the end the cutting would have been really messy, when I first built for testing there was no spring and the cut was really bad
