I watched this video again today. It is the most complete video I've ever seen with the Tavor 7. Please keep it up, you know the weapon like the back of your hand.
Thanks for this! I’ve had a Tavor 7 since January this year and I’m finally getting around to shooting it tomorrow! I’ll have to look into replacing my butt pad too
Thank you for this video. I’ve been thinking of getting a tavor 7 but ran into 2 things, 1) how to properly disassemble it to clean it properly. 2) is the barrel, if I had to swap barrels I wouldn’t have known how to it myself in a worst case scenario or didn’t have a gunsmith’s help.
I’m glad you found the video helpful. I definitely recommend it if you’re on the fence about getting it. Once you disassemble/clean it a few times it’s like riding a bike
*Great dis and reassembly video, especially for owners of the current T7. (like me)* 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *I have the Manticore Curved Butt-Pad, and the "Nightbreak", thought about getting the "Overwatch" rail but opted for a cheap lifted mount with adequate length to match my scope.* *Some people replace the pistol-grip/trigger-guard; not that I'm going to now/yet, but it would have been cool to see you completely remove it just in case.* 👍 *Thanks for the video!*
The extractor on these has a lug on it right? I have some damage to the lug nearest the extractor and am trying to determine if I need a new bolt (which IWI doesn’t sell) or if that lug is part of the extractor itself.
That's really hard to tell without actually seeing what you are talking about. How did the damage occur? What kind of "damage" are we talking about? A small chip? a huge chunk missing?
@@spectre6682 It’s a chunk missing on the lug nearest the extractor, I contacted IWI they asked for photos but haven’t responded. I guess my question is, is that lug a part of the bolt or a part of the extractor? When viewing the spare parts they do sell, which is the only photo of the extractor I’ve been able to track down, it’s not a great angle to make this determination. As you mentioned in the video, taking apart the bolt isn’t really an option either unless I take it to a gunsmith or send it back to IWI.
@@spectre6682 hey, I just uploaded a short clip that shows the area and damage in question. If you have a moment to check it out and give your thoughts it would be much appreciated.
@@ajaj3196 I watched the clip. That is the extractor itself. Replacing that should alleviate any concern about the damage affecting the weapon itself. My only question would be what caused that damage and will it happen again if it’s replaced
@@spectre6682 right, and also finding a gunsmith who will be able to replace it. In all my digging I’ve yet to find anything on full disassembly of the bolt. Thanks again for taking a look, it’s a relief to know it’s just the extractor.
Fantastic, big help, thanks
You’re welcome!

Do they have magnum for long range target shooting?
I’m not sure I understand the question

What is the gas length on the tavor 7? Rifle length?
Do you know what the gas port size is?
How much is this gun please?
You'd have to shop around, I would probably get in trouble if I said a money amount here.
