    Oh man you have some awesome rifles. I've been looking a Tavor 7 and the PSA M110 lol. Great minds think alike!

      Both are great 308 rifles and compliment each other. One for closer in stuff, other for longer range

    I found a place that has the Tavor 7 in stock and I'll have mine the beginning of next month. It's taken forever to find the OD green.

    I appreciate the field strip, it gives me much better insight. I didn't realize the rail was directly attached to the barrel in two places.

    The TS12 and T7 are my favorites currently. 700 on the TS12 with only one fte only a few hundred through the T7. I like its recoil impulse more than x95 i think its the short stroke i like more.

    BLK LBL makes a bipod handguard for the Tavor 7. I have both the bipod and ALX for my MDRX. If I get the Tavor 7, I will be getting a BLK LBL Bipod handguard.

    I also noticed that T7 is a bit picky on ammo; some M80 ball types can get widely big groups. Lake City bulk M80(oily and loose bullet) has been the worst.
    Can never get such a bad performance out of the SCAR or even POF. Also for how heavy it is, SCAR(at least to me) felt like more controllable while being a pound lighter to begin with.
    I still like it as a BR that specializes in urban environments. In that case, the compactness and power of 308 against common barriers would be a good advantage.
    I got the RX arms grip so it can use the OG Tavor podium, since any other solution is either very awkward or BLK LBL is outrageously expensive.
    This prevents your hand from slipping into the trigger guard, which is also easier to grip since it rests on your middle finger. Half the weight of a Magpul bipod, fastest to use, has the biggest range of elevation and depression.

    Great review and breakdown. You would be a great gunsmith.
    I’m looking forward to trying the blklbl handguard as well.
    Q1. How do you like the HUXWRX break. I’m looking to grab a 7.62 Ventum when they do a special.
    Q2. How was your poi shift with the suppressor.
    Q3. What did you use for painting the mags.
    Looking forward to the Wlvrn review brother. I would love to get one.
    P.S agree on the weight mine is 12.8lbs weigh the sling and loaded A 1:10 twist barrel would be fantastic

      Thank you!
      Haven't used the 762 brake, but the 556 one on another gun works great. Concussive on short barrels though.
      Haven't measured the poi shift as almost always shoot it suppressed. Just plinking with out it (forgot to bring it) it seems to be minimal shift.
      Mags are Cerakoted, elite fde

    Great stuff.
    Had mine since late 2017 (if memory services), basically the first production run in the US. Mostly use M80 ball from Federal, Magtech, PMC, and some IWI razer core.
    The Razor Core does extremely well and is what I have it sighted in for. It does just over 1MOA five shot groups. But other than that accuracy is as you described. Betwr than a normal X95 and more than enough for me.
    It's not as accurate as bench accurate as my old DD AR10. However, I shoot it more accurately on the move or in dynamic positions. Great for heavy metal three gun.
    Not sure how you can run it with the flat butpad. The Manticore is much more stable. The flat plastic plate is way too slick for me. I end up popping myself in the chin when mounting it if I use it.
    Also I run the longer BCM vertical angled grip as a hand stop with a Magpul railcover in front for comfort. The short one is ok but I tend to pick it up using the vertical grip when it's in my safe. So longer is better there. Before I had that grip I would grab it by the barrel when picking it up because the forend was so slick. Which is a habit I didn't like.
    Also running a Leupold vx6 hd 2-12, offset irons, and also the newer 50,000 candelabra Streamlight Protac.
    I may try a 3 Panther Products cutlas so there's a guard between your fingers. But other than that I'm happy with it.
    For me bullpups make way more since in 308. An the Tavor 7 is the ultimate in my opinion.

    Ah, I didn't get an OSS can for my 7 because I knew it wouldn't run right suppressed.
    On a Banish 30 it runs like a dream (gets significantly more accurate too - which I didn't expect)
    I DID get a OSS can for the Tavor SAR, though - and am glad I did.

      It runs good, I'm just super picky about my guns gassing

    • @JohnZ556
      @JohnZ556 3 місяці тому +1

      Why would it not run with OSS? You don't need to change the gas setting since OSS doesn't add back pressure to the system.

      @@JohnZ556 it ran fine with stock ports, I just like to tune my guns more

    • @andyinva1098
      @andyinva1098 3 місяці тому

      @@JohnZ556 Because the adjustable gas system has a setting for suppressors that doesn't work well with the OSS cans. They barely cycle with it set. If you use a non-flow through can it works perfectly, though.
      Sure, you can leave it set to regular and have it cycle just fine, but you get some gas in your face if you do.

      I have Resonator K on mine. I have HUXWORX 556k FLOW on a non-adjustable gun and was wondering how a HUXWORX .30 cal would work with the gas port choices on the T7.
      Thanks for answering those questions in your video!

    I get personal preference but honestly you’re just nitpicking bro. I freaking love mine and think it’s amazing. Buy a freaking AFG too and then just saw off the access and then use a Dremel to round it off and it’s freaking perfect. I don’t know what you’re bitching about.

    M80 type 7.62x51 is just machine gun fodder. Not concerned with it. I wanted reliability and reasonable precision with quality ammo. That's what I get with mine!
    It's an X95 Gen 2 in .308. Like you, I'd buy an X95 if it had the upgrades the T7 has.

    I see you used the jam nut with the break. That's generally a no-no. But I suppose if you're confident in the concentricity, and you used Rocksett you're ok. I went thru two sets of expensive shims before I landed on the perfect one to time that break properly. But now it's timed correctly and tight up against the barrel shoulder... and the alignment rod shows perfect concentricity. It was a tedious experience to get it right though.

    • @josephpepper3087
      @josephpepper3087 Місяць тому

      I too, used the jam nut. IWI and the suppressor maker said it was fine. No problems.

      @Golgafrinchamdent Місяць тому

      @@josephpepper3087 Did you use an alignment rod to check? You really want it to be centered, with equal space all around. It may be less important if you're using a .762 can on a .556 rifle.
