කඩාගෙන ආපු නාරං තම්බල දිය ඇරල හතරට පලාගෙන කැට ලුණුයි කෑලි මිරිසුයි ඒ පැල්ම අතරට රිංගවනනන ඕන. ඕක තමයි අමාරුම වැ⁣ඩේ. නාහෙං අඬ අඬ වුනත් මල්ලි ඒකට උදව්කලා. අන්තිම හරියෙදි අත්තම්මත් උදව්වට ආවා. වැඩ ඉවර වීගෙන එද්දි නස් නාරං වලින් මල්ලි හදපු බීම එකක රහ බලන්නත් හම්බවුනා. දෙළුම් ඇටයි සුදු ගම්මිරිස් කුඩුයි එකතු වුන බීම එක අමුතුම රසයකුයි අමුතුම පණකුයි ගෙනාවා.
හදාගත්ත ලුණු දෙහි එක හොඳට වියළිව තිබුනොත් අවුරුද්දක් වුනත් තියාගන්න පුලුවනි. ඒත් අපේ මල්ලිත් එක්ක කොහෙද එච්චර කල් තියාගන්නෙ. ඕක රාක්කෙ තියෙනකම්ම හැම කෑමවේලටම ලුණු දෙහි කෑල්ලක් දාගන්නවමයි. කමක්නෑ ඉතින්. කන්නනෙ හැදුවෙ.
දවස් කීපෙකට පස්සෙ මම දවල් වේලකට ලුණු දෙහි එකතු කරල කකුළු මාළු ඩෙවල් එකක් හැදුවා. කකුළුවො දැල්ලො එහෙම හදද්දි ඇඹුල් රස මතුවෙන දෙයක් එකතු කලාම ඒක ගොඩක් රසවත් වෙනවා. කකුළු මාළු වල උෂ්ණ ගතිය අඩු වෙන්න මම මුරුංගා කොල ටිකකුත් ඩෙවල් එකට එකතු කලා. ඒකට ලුණු දෙහි දැම්ම කියල හරියන්නෑ, අපේ මල්ලිට. මං හදපු ලුණු දෙහි රසයි කිය කිය වෙනද වගේම වෙනමත් ලුණු දෙහි කෑල්ලක් බත් එකට බෙදාගෙන කෑවෙ.
