*Please find the English description in the description box* මේ විදියට තෙල් පෑදෙන්න මිරිස් මාළු උයන්න මම පුරුදු වුණේ අපේ අම්මගෙන්. ගෙදර හිඳගන්න පොල් තෙල් නිසා කෙලවල්ලා මාළු මේ විදියට හදලා ගත්තම අමුතු රසකුයි ආස හිතෙන සුවඳකුයි තියෙනවා. ඒ වගේම ශරීරයට අගුණයකුත් නැහැ. නූතන ශ්‍රී ලාංකේය සම්ප්‍රදාය ඇතුලේ නම් මිරිසට හදපු මූදු මාළු එක්ක කිරට හදපු පරිප්පුයි බැදල ගත්ත පපඩමකුයි තියෙනවා කියන්නේ ඉතින් මතක් වෙද්දිත් කටට කෙළ උනනවා. ඒ තරම් රසවත් ආහාර වේලක්. හැබැයි ඒ පරිප්පු වලට නිවිති කොල දෙක තුනකුත් එකතු වුණානම් ඒ රස කියලා වැඩක් නැහැ.
නිකම්ම නිකන් නිවිති කොල දාන්නෙ නැතුව උදේට තම්බලා ඉතුරු වුණ සුදු කවුපි ටිකකුත් එක්ක නිවිති බෝල හැදුවනම් හොඳයි කියලා මට හිතුණා. වේලක් පිරිමහන්න තරම් මුරුංගා තිබුනේ නැති නිසා ඒ මුරුංගා ටිකත් තම්බලා මදය සූරලා ඒ මිශ්‍රණයට එකතු කලා. යෝධ නිවිති කොල මැද්දේ මිශ්‍රණය තියලා ඔතන්න පහසු වෙන්න නිවිති කොල උණු වතුරේ තත්පර කීපයක් උණුන් ගස්සලා ගත්තා. ඇත්තටම මේ විදියට හදාගන්න ව්‍යෑංජනයකින් ව්‍යෑංජන දෙක තුනකින් බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන රසයත් ගුණයත් කිසිම අඩුවක් නැතුව ලබාගන්න පුළුවන්.
ආහ්.. දවල් කෑම ගැන කියන්න ගිහින් තව පොඩ්ඩෙන් අච්චාරුව ගැන වචනයක් කියන්න අමතක වෙනවා. ලොකු අම්මලායි කොරටුවේ වවපු මාළු මිරිස් වගයක් අත්තම්මා අතේ එවලා තිබුණා. හවස් වරු වල එකදිගට තියෙන වැස්ස නිසා ගස්වල හැදුණු මාළු මිරිස් කරල් කුණු වෙනවා කියලා ළපටි මෝරපු කියලා වෙනසක් බලන්නෙ නැතුව ලොකු අම්මලා මුළු අස්වැන්නම එකසැරේ කඩලා තිබුණා. මාළු මිරිස් ජාති දෙක තුනක්ම වවලත් තියෙනවා. ඉතින් කලින් දවසෙ රෑටත් කාලා ගොඩක් ඉතුරු වුණ නිසා මාළු මිරිස් ටික පරවෙන්න කලින් අච්චාරුවක් හදන්න හිතුණා. මල්ලිගේ මිරිස් කොටුවෙන් කොච්චියි, දම් කොච්චියි කඩාගෙන ඇවිත් අමු මිරිස්, මාළු මිරිස්, සුදු කොච්චි මිරිස්, කැවුම් මිරිස් සේරම එකට දාලා තව රතු ළූණුත් වැඩිපුර දාලා සැර අච්චාරුවක් හැදුවා. කල් තබාගන්න හිතාගෙන අච්චාරුවට තම්බලා ගන්න කිසිම දෙයක් තෙත් භාජන වල අසුරන්න වත් හදද්දි තෙත හැඳි පාවිච්චි කරන්නවත් හොඳ නෑ. එහෙම වුණොත් අච්චාරුව ඉක්මනට නරක් වෙලා කල් තියාගන්න බැරි වෙනවා. මේ අච්චාරුව නම් රස වෙන්න දවස් දෙකක් වත් මුට්ටිය ඇතුලෙ පැහෙන්න ඕනේ. මහ ගොඩක් හැදුණ අච්චාරු මුට්ටියෙන් කොටසක් දවස් තුනකට පස්සෙ ලොකු අම්මලාටයි තව කොටසක් මාමලයි ගෙදරටයි යැව්වා. හැබැයි ඒ නිකම්ම නෙවෙයි. බැදපු හාල්මැස්සොත් ඒ අච්චාරුවට කලවම් කරලා. අච්චාරුවත් එක්ක හාල්මැස්සො පැහෙනවා වඩා වෙනස් රසයක් පැහුණු අච්චාරුවට හාල්මැස්සො එකතු කරාම එනවා.
ඒත් ඉතින් අපේ මල්ලිට නම් මොන කෑමක් හැදුවත් එවෙලේම කන්න ඕනනේ. එයානම් ආසම සුදු බත් එක්ක විතරක් අච්චාරු කන්න. රතු කැකුළු හාල් ලිපේ තිබ්බ කියල බොරුවක් ගොතලා කිව්වම අම්මෝ බලන්න එපැයි අපේ මල්ලිගේ මූණ. කජු ලෙල්ල වගේ. මටත් ඉතින් ඉන්න එකම සහෝදරයගේ සතුට තමයි මගෙත් සතුට. දැක්කනේ උයල තියෙන්නේ සුදු බත් කියලා දැක්කම මූණ පිපිලා ආව ලස්සන.

Rubbing soil on it sort of creates a temporary protective layer till the tree can grow out its own bark again. My Seeya used to do that when we got Moringa peels too 😊
