very nice choice Ken, one of his best with a usual Steve Winwood "hey don't forget to see all of life"...My fav is "Higher Love" in particular a version w/ his daughter, she has slowed down the melody and the lyrics and meaning become so relevant...beautiful....yes Tammy the horns in this song bring it and your reaction spot on....
Thanks Tammy, This is my favorite song by him but I do like many of his other songs from 1980 to 1989. I think we all can relate to the meaning of this song in our own lives and that's why many people like this song.👍🎸🎸🎧❤
great choice Ken...reminds me back in the day"am I gonna stand on the side on the wall...or walk across the dance floor and take a chance and ask her....
@@alanchomor701 Yes, This song could mean taking a chance on asking a girl to dance or asking her out or for her phone number. But it could also mean a new job opportunity or taking a chance on most anything but I think it's about taking a chance on a woman since he mentions about finding romance in the song.
Not a big Steve Winwood fan but that's not to take away from the fact that he is a talented musician, singer and songwriter. This is one of the songs by him I like.
Metal Mark, I'm surprised that you did not comment on the White Zombie - Thunderkiss video. I thought you would especially like that one. I like Rob Zombie on his own but I'm not too much of a White Zombie fan.
Great song Ken. I've always loved his voice, whether he was with the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic, Blind Faith or solo. This song instantly takes me back to 1980-81, being a young wife and new mother of a beautiful, blond haired and blue eyed baby boy. If I could go back for just one day...😌
Hi Tammy, I’m interested in your thoughts on the UA-cam trend. Back in 1980, could you have imagined that you would be sitting in front of a phone… listening to the same song…and publishing it to the entire world… to watch on the computer in their pocket…
Amazing isn't i? , I can remember watching the cartoon "The Jetsons" and thinking that one day we would all be flying around in these little spaceship like things, but never in a million years would I have thought cell phones or computers could do what they do.

Never heard the one with his daughter, I need to check that one out.

Great album and song.
Yes, The song and most of the entire album is good including the song Arc Of A Diver which is the album title.

@@Ken-vk8pb Thunderkiss is an alright song but if I were to choose a Rob Zombie song it would be Dragula.
@@metalmark1214 Yes, Dragula and I also like Living Dead Girl.
@@metalmark1214 Yeah, really like Dragula!

This charted in the UK 🇬🇧 in January 1981 and unbelievably only reached number 45.
Very underrated artist in my opinion!

Hey, I know you addressed this comment to Tammy but I just have to say I love your name! My parents were big Yankees fans back in the day.
@@karenduell1027 I’m a baseball fan, generally. 😁 Mickey was the Elvis of Baseball back in his day. Tragic figure, but pop culture gold.

Say a vid of Steve doing The Low Spark of High Healed Boys from 2022. Playing solo... sounded just as good as from 50 something years ago.
Just reread my post,,, feel like a real dummy. "SAY" should be SAW.... And just saw another "Healed" should be Heeled. Getting too old for this...LOL
