Noticed that my unit USB570a (bought in Sept 2022) does not have the same location for the lens as this video and others have displayed. My lens is located in the shaft/stem of the laser head instead. The tip (head) does unscrew and has the same silver ring but the lens is not even located there. Any suggestions? I can still access enough to clean but was just wondering as I would like to actually take it out completely to clean correctly.

Thanks for the video. Can you remove the built in fan or will it throw errors when you do. Im thinking of buying on the big ones but want to use the AC INFINITY system. would rather remove it than have an obstacle.

I'd like to know about cleaning the laser tube. Best cleaning material to use, ect... I dont have a very dust free environment for my laser as it's in my workshop and has a coating of sawdust on it that i cant just blow off with my air compressor, it's hardened on there.

Thanks for this helpful video. I just setup my 55W OMTech laser today. First cuts (a simple 10mm circle) are showing a ghost circle offset by about 1.85mm to the left. I've cleaned the lenses and mirrors, but the defect is still there. What do you recommend next?

It turns out the first mirror was jostled in shipping. I followed the alignment video and adjusting the first mirror after the tube so the spot hit the Y target center fixed the ghosting. thanks for these videos. very helpful

I've had my laser for a month and all of a sudden in the middle of a job the output goes to nearly nothing. No matter how much I slow it down and add more power it won't even cut poster paper. Any suggestions ??

Good question! At any time one is losing power, we suggest checking their alignment. For further assistance, you can contact our Technical Support Team at omtechlaser.com/pages/contact-us

My tube has a blue part that does not unscrew and I can't get down to the o-ring that holds the lens in place. I have the 2.5" (I think) laser tube (new 80W AF2028). The blue part covers the dimples in the o-ring and even without that, there was nothing included in the kit to even reach into the tube to loosen the o-ring. Any suggestions or maybe even a video for the 2.5" tube?

Figured it out. Had to take a wrench to the blue collar to loosen it.

@@omtechlaser That would really help! I created one myself for others, but yours would be more professionally done!
