I basically do breathing exercises with my breathing bag everyday, basically same like how you introduce in the video, and I also try to find a place that I could lay down, so I could do these exercises in a most possible relax way. Especially important reminder to me on the relaxation of body after gaining the habit of playing with stress, or also happened to bought too big breathing bag (6L maybe too big for me) and my teacher kind of force me to suck all of the air in the bag and want me to progress in one single lesson. Glad I found my way after that.
Trumpeter here. I noticed throughout the years that I have absolutely no wind support when playing. I have tried breathing exercises here and there and notice improvements but never stuck with them (mostly through laziness). I did order a bag and will try it out for the next 10 days. Its a small amount to pay for something that may in the end be a huge improvement. I'll comment again after my findings. Just came across this channel and I love it!
Jay Ayers thanks for checking out the channel! Let me know if doing some stuff with the bag helps. I try to be consistent and use it daily in my practice. Let me know what you find! :)
Thanks for the video!! I just wonder one thing. Is there any specific reason why you dont use the mouthpiece that comes with the bag? I just bought it today 😁
Though I am sure there could be benefits, I dont know enough about the way singers like to use air to feel confident saying yes or no. I would consult a voice teacher. I would strongly encourage you to not try these techniques with a plastic bag. Those bags are not made for these exercises and I am sure there is a high chance of suffocation.
Is the bag sturdy? The previous bags I was buying were made of a blue or green rubber, but they were pretty thin. Is the black bag thicker/sturdier than these other versions? If you do not know the previous models, are these bags thick or can they by practicing?
What exercises do you do with your breathing bag?

I love my breathing bag, and i use it every time I play. But I have never tried using it intermittently during the practice. Great idea!

Dankrad no real reason, I just put the bag in a messenger bag when I take it for lessons and it’s easier to transport that way.
Does this also work for singers? Can you use a plastic bag instead?

Ten Kin I use mine on a almost daily basis and have had it for about 6 years now and I have had no problems 😊
@@AKCEuph Good. I ordered one from the us that seems sturdier than the previous ones I got and I cross my finger that it is more durable.
Ten Kin keep me posted!
👏👏

I don't think that I've ever heard of a breathing bag
