Lock box kills it for me, I've opened a ton of lock boxes over my time playing and have never gotten a T6 ship box or promo ship from them so I pretty much view ships like this as DoA.
One thing the game NEVER tells you is that opening different types of boxes makes it less likely you get a hit. Same thing for opening on multiple characters. The pity point (still not a guarantee) system is per character per box.
I’d say don’t waste time on lock boxes either by off the exchange lmao I wish ppl would mix it up so many of the same ships being posted or do the year campaign you can only fly one ship at a time anyway so decide the one you want and go from there
As it is a lockbox single character unlock, yeah, it's another easy pass for me. Also, while I don't really care for the "32nd Century Floaty-Bits" aesthetic, at least the Credence actually looks like a Starfleet ship, unlike some of its other 32c contemporaries.
It looks like a 32nd century version of the USS Yamato class from Klingon academy. I like it but will probably never have it, I don’t buy lockbox. Maybe for the event campaign next year.
Maybe in a couple of years when its in a Mudd's bundle. I still think DECA would be smart to knock down that window of gamble to direct purchase transition to 1 year. I'm not awed with the trait & console but not all the details have been released & I too think it looks good.
DECA would be smart to limit the amount of stuff getting shoved into lock boxes and put more of a focus on the places where you can actually get what you pay for. I don't have any issues gambling and I honestly don't mind the idea of stuff locked away but how many ships have we gotten in the last 18 months that about only 5% of the player base will get their hands on? And frankly... the latest run of lock box ships suck.
A great video. I played a game on Xbox and I checked The infinity box info, and it says that we also will be getting that ship as well. Weird because this is the first time A ship is available on all platforms
It was accidentally leaked on to console, but i don't think it will releasing at the same time, though. The blog only says it'll be releasing to PC on the 2nd.
It looks OK, I just wish all these 32c ships had an animation of the pieces moving when they change mode or enter combat then it would make a bit if sense with the unattached bits
Yeah, everything said after 'lockbox ship' is utterly useless. Its another ship added to the game that only a fraction of the player base will ever get to experience.
I’ll be honest I kind’a like the engineering ensign gives me a place for EPS1 to trigger both Weapons Hot Shields to Full and Ship of the Line when Emergency Weapons Cycle is on cool down from EPW1
Wait? people are angry about normal space ship parts being connected only by subspace or inter-dimensional structural frame work? People, 900 years of fictional tech advancements in the Star Trek Universe. This isn't Star Wars, where tech advancement gets stuck at a stand still for 1000's of years. Get over yourselves. This is a logical development for a Star Trek tech advancement, especially one that far away.
I like the stats (granted not chasing meta stuff helps a lot) but I'm not a big fan of those 32nd century floating ship pieces. It just looks weird to my 21st century mind. nothing to do with making sense or not. I just can't wrap my head around it. also I can already see a lot of ships name clearwater in the future If I get one I will definitely use it but I'm not chasing after it.
Deca really needs to change the way to get to these ships people or at least I would pay more for a better ship like a lock box if i could just pay more zen. The lock box system in this game is really trash and they need to address it as it is probably one of the top complaints in this game. This ship to me is average nothing meta changing and just another 32c ship average at best
A ship that visually is a complete toilet 🚽 seat and lid. I never understood the Disco attraction to toilet looking ships and floating separate bits, it made zero sense to beam around which is an energy intensive process when they had limited energy reserves and Dilithium post burn.
For the people who are griping about the gambling of opening boxes. Well it is like this. This game is F2P. The people who buy the keys keep it running. If everyone stopped buying them then the STO Universe dies. We do not want that. So maybe if you are nice someone may give one to you. I have done and seen people give a nice ship away for no reason.
@@juni674 Do lockboxes really pay the bills, though? How do we know? I've bought ZEN often enough, but never bought keys/boxes. Also, people avoid the game because of the boxes.

Just buy keys and sell them and then buy these ships off the exchange it's a lot less frustrating

@@stephenkelly8312 agreed there needs to be a major revamp to the lock box system as it sits now it's garbage
That's the point of lockbox... just stop buying them mate.
No change will happen if you keep feeding them.

what I saw with the Ensign Engineer was Emergency Power to Weapons 1
I mostly want one so I can name it the USS _Clearwater._
And name the bridge crew for CCR band members 😂
Wish they'd just charge a little bit more for it. Gambling blows. Lockbox kills it. If there was a pity system I'd consider it

It's one of the few 32nd century ships that actually looks pretty decent.
Just got the ship it is beautiful. What a girl. Will give you my extra box Stu if you will do a build video on it 😊
I want one of these cos it reminds me of the T5 and T6 Galaxy Dreadnoughts
that is a bottle opener with weird floating stuff.......
would this be good to complete the tourof the galaxy run? my other miracle workers suck at it

I don't care if it makes sense lol I just find most of them to be ugly in design but those that like it more power to them.
What?! I Already have the Daystrom dreadnought cruiser. Now I need to get this some how.
Can we see a t6 NX build? Please 🙏

like to see a build of you get the ship :D!
I have 100 keys. I will be trying to get this ship. It looks great. I hope 🤞🏽 I luck up and get more than one. I will be selling one.
I'm collecting them all just waiting on it to get in the box on ps5
Beautiful. Going to be a good beam boat. 🤤
I actually think I like it, lol

So who's going to name it the U.S.S. Clearwater?
So let's see how long people use this ship for and then the new ship comes out and replaces it lol 😆
i dont dislike the floaty parts but this is a bit too much for my likings
Sigh. Add to cart.
Lock box is a scam, I buy one key every couple months and am always disappointed.
USS John Fogerty
I guess this is Bort's one good ship for the year since "not every ship can be special"
I'm not a fan. It looks like a toilet seat.
The Saturn class 32nd looks like the toilet seat. lol
Wonder if it has a bidet console?
The first ship in a while that isn't trash.
i kinda like the look of this thing. NGL i like that its not super flat
