Unless you are not near an immigration office it seems that this would be more tedious with unnecessary fees and restricted ways to pay for a tourist. @calvin - I agree with the other poster. I think they (BI) are cracking down on long term tourists (like you). BI wants you to get a residence visa - either a 13A visa (you can get this if you're married) or an SRRV (if you're > 50 yrs old). There are many types of SRRV & they all involve monetary deposit. There's a new Immigration bill in the works and this may impact foreigners. It's a priority bill and may get approved this year.

Wondering if anyone else has encountered this: Registration completed, but when I enter all the information about entry date etc when I click to submit, it keeps telling me the information is incorrect! I have double and triple checked, and I do not see any errors. I called the hotline and was told to wait a while because the system was updating (in the middle of the day!). I will keep trying and let you and anyone else who's had the same problem know how I do. Update: After more experimenting, I found out that somewhere in the system my first and middle names are all shown as just my first name, so I continue to the payment. Because of the weather here today, connection is not good, so I will wait until Monday the 20th.

If you're a former Filipino citizen, bring proof (old PH passport or PSA/ NSO birth cert). That way, you'll be given 1 year balikbayan privilege. No need to apply for visa extenaion, unless your stay is more than 1 year.
Go to BI office. You would pay a 1000 fine plus the normal extension of one month. Which means 4000. If you have stayed over 59 days then extra 2700 for ACR card. I was recently 2 months late because I left my passport in some other city and arranging for it to get to me wasn't very easy because the condo owner traveled. I paid about 11k in total for 3 months stay extension, 2 months overstay fine of about 1500 and my ACR card

Your GF will need a CFO certificate if she has no financial capacity of her own. Jen has made a vid about this last month - departure requirements for Filipinos (or similar title). She needs to apply at cfo gov ph. Btw, Filipinos need a pre-approved visa for Japan or S. Korea.

Well I tried the new online visa application, Failed 🤦🏻♂️ it came up INVALID, please input the details as per your passport 🤷🏻♂️ I registered and that was completed and approved, then logged in a couple of days later to apply for the visa extension, but INVALID? I filled out everything as per my passport, I filled out all questions with asterisks, done this about 5 times, but no good. Would it be because it’s a Sunday and no one at the BI office? I will try again Monday morning, if still same, then it looks like I will have that dreaded trip to the BI office 🤦🏻♂️
@melissa - if your husband intends to stay/ live in PH, he can apply for a 13A visa (resident/ spouse). If he enters PH alone, then he will need an exit ticket which leaves in 30 days or less. Before his 30 days are over, he can go to an Immigration office to extend his visa. Bring your marriage certificate & accompany him, so that he can apply for the 6 months extension. (married foreigners can get 6 months extension). Then during those 6 months, you can gather the docs needed for the 13A visa.
Common sense is rare in the Philippines. This 'step forward', lol, is another proof. Not being able to pay online for an online service is ridiculous. In every supermarket in the Philippines you can pay by Visa or Mastercard, both debit and credit.
Philipines now a WEF country. Marcos support nazi klaus. Marcos is member of davaos Switzerland meeting philipines no good anymore it ruined. Soon philipines be like srilanka
I love it in the grocery store, they always ask, Debit or Credit, and I always answer it does not matter you choose it will work either way, same as when they ask me peso or dollar, they always get a confused look on there face and do not know what to do....
Just completed the application and I was able to pay with my Mastercard. It has updated but you have to use a Maya security system thing to verify with a virtual card. Kind of confusing but it went through somehow. Now I am waiting for the email from the BI,. I also was required to use a gmail email account for some nutty reason. Wish me luck!

@Kennethhh Hhh I eventually discovered that somewhere in my travel documents, my first and middle name were clubbed together as my first name. Once I tried that, everything went smoothly.
For a while sir..😂

@@petenicholls9451 hi sir my fiance was trouble to do online his online visa in the USA..

Can he travel towards here in philipines
Thanks sir wait Ur respond
Hello Jennifer. If we register on e-travel to go to Philippines coming from the states, then exit Philippines to Japan for 10 days. Before going back to Philippines..do we need to register on etravel again?
Yes, you will need to input your new flight details & get a new QR code.
Thank you so much. More power to you👍
Do i still need visa extension even i'm balikbayan but australian citizen?.born in the philippines
If you're a former Filipino citizen, bring proof (old PH passport or PSA/ NSO birth cert). That way, you'll be given 1 year balikbayan privilege. No need to apply for visa extenaion, unless your stay is more than 1 year.
Thanks for this. I will try it out when I get to the Philippines in December. I'm assuming I can only get the extension when I am in the Philippines.
Helpful yes, but does not work. I have tried cell phone and computer and different web browser's. Will not load.
Can you also make a video for extending the visa for 6 months by using the e-services option?
That service is not available online. You'll have to do it in person.
Hi Jennifer, Should a Balik Bayan need to apply a visa waiver after 30 days of stay in the Philippines?
If you are a former Filipino, bring proof (old PH passport or PSA/NSO birth cert). That way, you'll be given 1 year free stay on balikbayan privilege.
Can I make ACR online too?
No. You have to apply for it in person.
Wow this is the best news.
Hi Jen, I’m over 2 days of 1month stay/vacation, any problem with that? US citizen here. Can anyone who knows comment down below please
@@africanlovingasia9482 thank you for the reply and I really appreciate you.I forgot to mention above that I’m a former Filipino acquired US citizen and I think (not sure) I’m under cover by Balikbayan program that can stay not over 1year with visa free .
@@janettedorotheo7095 check the stamp on your passport. See if you were given 1 year stay upon your entry to PH. If you were given 1 year, no need to go to BI.
@@kitty_s23456 you are so kind to reply my inquiries here, really appreciated and thank you 🙏 so much, I will check on that one upon arrival ❤️
@@janettedorotheo7095 you're welcome. Oh, so you're not in PH yet. If you want to avail of 1 year balikbayan privilege, you must show proof of being former Filipino (old PH passport or PSA/NSO birth certificate).
Can you make a video on how not to get off loaded if you want to take your Filipina GF on a short trip to Singapore or Japan or anywhere for a couple days or a week?
Your GF will need a CFO certificate if she has no financial capacity of her own. Jen has made a vid about this last month - departure requirements for Filipinos (or similar title). She needs to apply at cfo gov ph. Btw, Filipinos need a pre-approved visa for Japan or S. Korea.
Hi po Miss Jennifer,
May tanong po sana ako.. pde po ba kami mag dala ng seeds for planting like vegetables and flowering plants seeds sa Pilipinas? Travelling from Australia po.
Thank you very much in advance sa sagot mo po.
Have a great day! 👍🙂
No, bawal po yun unless may permit kayo from the proper govt agency.
Thank you po sa reply.
Ok but what about the simcard law. How do you do an extension dealing with the simcard issue?
Well I tried the new online visa application, Failed 🤦🏻♂️ it came up INVALID, please input the details as per your passport 🤷🏻♂️ I registered and that was completed and approved, then logged in a couple of days later to apply for the visa extension, but INVALID? I filled out everything as per my passport, I filled out all questions with asterisks, done this about 5 times, but no good. Would it be because it’s a Sunday and no one at the BI office? I will try again Monday morning, if still same, then it looks like I will have that dreaded trip to the BI office 🤦🏻♂️
I just read the Philippines is down in tourist The Philippines government needs to do more
@JenniferTerri ganyan din bah Gawin kung gusto Ng husband mo magstay na Dito sa pilipinas?
@melissa - if your husband intends to stay/ live in PH, he can apply for a 13A visa (resident/ spouse). If he enters PH alone, then he will need an exit ticket which leaves in 30 days or less. Before his 30 days are over, he can go to an Immigration office to extend his visa. Bring your marriage certificate & accompany him, so that he can apply for the 6 months extension. (married foreigners can get 6 months extension). Then during those 6 months, you can gather the docs needed for the 13A visa.
Thank u po
Common sense is rare in the Philippines. This 'step forward', lol, is another proof. Not being able to pay online for an online service is ridiculous. In every supermarket in the Philippines you can pay by Visa or Mastercard, both debit and credit.
Philipines now a WEF country. Marcos support nazi klaus. Marcos is member of davaos Switzerland meeting philipines no good anymore it ruined. Soon philipines be like srilanka
yep 1 step forward 2 steps backward, so frustrating
I love it in the grocery store, they always ask, Debit or Credit, and I always answer it does
not matter you choose it will work either way, same as when they ask me peso or dollar,
they always get a confused look on there face and do not know what to do....
HI. Thanks for the information. May I ask about the updated requirements to apply for the VISA WAIVER po?
Just completed the application and I was able to pay with my Mastercard. It has updated but you have to use a Maya security system thing to verify with a virtual card. Kind of confusing but it went through somehow. Now I am waiting for the email from the BI,. I also was required to use a gmail email account for some nutty reason. Wish me luck!
That’s great! 😁 Thanks for sharing your experience. Did you had to verify it with a code sent to your mobile phone?
@@JenniferTerri yeah something like that with a payment system called Maya. Now I’m still waiting for the email from BI
its still pending for evaluation
Ok I got first email! Waiting for final processing email
Thank you Jennifer!!!!!! It is all processed and I saved a lot of time avoiding doing this in person! This is the best UA-cam help video yet!
