I didn't use this feature in e-services as it wasn't available at the time for my visa extensions. I will however, comment on the ECC-b form. it doesn't work. I have an acr-i card and upon entering the card no and other form details, I am presented with an error that the i-card number entered is not valid... so, I need to visit the local BOI office to process it

You need to let people know that once they go to the Bureau of immigration to pick up their ACR ID card they need to have Internet access so that they can print out your visa extension. It needs to be on paper so they can see it and issue you your card.they won’t just take it from your phone. Fortunately, my wife was with me and we were able to do that. 2/05/2024
Hi, I have tried to do a tourist extension there is no longer a option to pick up a ACR card and it wont let me complete this without putting in a ACR card number ? is there any update on this or do you know a way of doing this now online or do I have to go into a immigration office.

Great info, Jennifer: Thorough, yet clear and concise. As a tourist, I can live in the province now without having to travel three hours each way to an immigration office now every two months to extend my visa ... Maraming salamat at maligayang Pasko po! 🎄
Same here three hours drive each way to get to the nearest Bureau of Immigration and most times I overnight in the city because of the long butt busting ride so everything costs much more having to do this every 7 weeks.
Hope and hope you dont get a generic "Submit failed" error message and have to travel to the BI office. 😓

Excellent video with lots of new information. I’m a Brit and have to extend my stay regularly. Just one point I’d like to make….a 6 month visa extension is now only available from BI Main Office in Manila. I sent a message to BI in December and they confirm this.
I have my ACR card and my visa expires on February, I am in the provincia and I had to travel to Manila spending a lot more money than what the extension cost, I will try this for my next extension hope everything goes well

I went to extend my second staying here in the filipines and I got to pay for a card that I may use in my second visit in the filipines valid for 1 year but it cost me pH 7000. It was a quite surprise. The guys there they say is mandatory.
Yup thats about right. 2nd extension + acr i card. Its expensive yes :/
Though I think I'm in the category that doesn't need to use this platform, I laud the gov't for the effort to make it easier for those who do. Perhaps they could add travel tax payment / processing on it too for further expediency. Nevertheless, I still think they have other sites (as far as I can recall) that could be redundant and create confusion. Furthermore, it seems there are many requirements (red tapes) to achieve a particular objective. Hopefully, they could integrate / streamline these sites / requirements someday.

I think doing these things will save the cost of visiting your local Immigration Office and using their Express Service, which is a 1000 Peso fee
I highly doubt that the Express fees would ever be waived it is an incredible source of revenue to the Government. If only. Bushyboy Oz.

Haha, you would think that but in fact the "express lane" fee is still charged when using the e-services
I did remembered BI charging Express Lane Fee at Main Office for every transaction "in person". As for the yearly Annual Report, it is the 1st time I'm hearing of an Express Lane Fee. Every year for the past many years that I do Annual Report at Satellite Offices, they only charged around php310. If we do an "in person" for Annual Report this year, will they take out that Express Lane Fee?
It was my understanding that US citizens married a Filipino passport holder was allowed Visa free stay for up to 1 year.
An ACR-I card is only $50 so no big deal. But with most foreigner spending lots of money including the 12% VAT, one would think the goverment would want to retain for helping the economy. Imagine the Philippines without the Billions in US aid or the Millions Filipinos send back each year. All this paperwork and complicated forms are a way to look important to rest of the world.
I did my first 29 day extension and it was so easy at first I was scared because I never got the email confirmation but I got it the second day hahaha so happy thanks for your videos 💞💞💞💞

Very disappointing how the system doesn't work, each time i need to extend it says "Failed, please go to the immigration office".
On my side, I got several problems with payment. Had to open a new e-mail address in order to give it another try.....
A question for the Filipino nationals with any recent experience traveling out of the Philippines for leisure for the first time. I know dealing with the Immigration Officer at the airport can vary significantly and the chance of getting offloaded is always possible. My first question - is Cebu/Mactan an option for an international departures or is NAIA the only choice? Second question: In addition to a valid passport and boarding pass, what else is needed//required? Proof of accommodation? Travel/cancellation insurance? Proof of sufficient funds? Proof of employment?
13A visa holders can do their annual report online and don’t have to report in person. It will be a virtual meeting. Payment can also be done online.😊

Holders of the SRRV Expanded Courtesy visa through PRA are exempted from ECC (exit clearance) and also exempted from re-entry letter requirements.
This is printed on the actual visa laminated inside your passport for American Citizenship.
Noted this visa needs to be adjucated annually during the months Jan/Feb for a $10 Fee

back when i had to go for my first ever ACR card i got a 6 month extension aswell cause i had to go to intramuros this was back in 2018, Then about a year later i tried to do a 6months extension and was denied because "i have been in the country for over a year now" either way glad to not have to go to immigration anymore or deal with fixers
I was only allowed to extend my tourist visa 2 months in the office today even though I'm married to a fillipina and was previously ALOWED 6 months extensions..I was told it's a new policy that only 2 month extensions are ALOWED. And as always they charge 1500 p for express line fee when I'm the only one in the office with no express line...maybe you can confirm that only 2month extensions are currently being granted to tourist visa holders...
there are two types of ACR-I card; please highlight this: one type is 'residential' and the other type is 'tourist'. The 'tourist' version is not accepted to open a bank account.
Jennifer, I have an ACR-I card that was issued in 2006 when my wife and I moved to Iloilo upon our retirement in the USA. At time of issue, there was no expiration date entered on the card, for whatever reason. In 2009 we moved back to the USA because of some family issues. We are now considering returning to the Philippine and I would like to know what my options are regarding my ACR-I card. I know this isn't the kind of question that you usually address, but I thought you might have some insight into how this all works. Thanks.

I would love to see you interview a dentist or even a physician that does this kind of work for foreigners. It seems such an interview would make the process much clearer and more successful.

I registered online, very easy, but I am only able to request 2 months, was confused by pick-up location, Cebu never had a branch in Gaisano mall that I've heard of, (Robinsons) or regional office district VII, (don't know where that is) and already have ACR card, but they wanted me to pay for a new ACR card, even though mine doesn't expire yet!
I'll go one more time in person and ask if anyone knows the answers.

Me and my wife are here in the P.I. for a vacation. We are dual citizens and using American Passports which will expire on Dec. 3, 2024. We are suppose to go back in the US on May but forsome reasons we are extending our stay until August because we're going to Japan. Since our US passport is no longer inforce for six months for our travel to Japan on August, is it okay to use a Philippines passport instead of renewing our US passport in US embassy in manila. Problema ko yung birth date ko kc iba yung gamit ko (13th instead of 12th) against sa BC issued by PSA. Nagfile ako ng petition sa LCR pero denied ng PSA. So nag affidavit ako yun submit ko sa US Embassy walang question accepted.

00:39 I did the Visa Waiver (29 day extension) just a few days ago,, and I have to disagree about "no corruption".. I had to pay for the "express lane fee" and the "express lane fee certification" which totaled an extra 1,000 PHP.. My credit card was charged in under 2 mins,, but I received the Visa Waiver approval 47hrs and 54mins later.. The "express lane fee" was automatically added,, and I received ordinary slow service...

It does not work!! I tried to pay my departure fees (13A) and it only gives option to pay 2,880. That is only the fee for 1st departure subsequent departures cost 2,170. No option for subsequent departures. Also annual report does not help. It is still required to go to BI office.

GREAT INFORMATION....I'm currently in the Philippines on a balikbayan visa since I'm married to a Philippina and we arrived together back in August 2023. I have to go back to the states for some business for 2 weeks in Feb 2024. I've tried to find information about multiple entries on a balikbayan visa but I'm not sure if my current balikbayan vise will be valid for my reentry in Feb. My wife will not be with me for this travel. Any idea? Keep up the great channel!!!!!!
If you travel alone you will enter the Philippines as a tourist. Your wife must travel with you coming back.
The other commenter is correct. You must enter PH with your wife if you want to avail of balikbayan privilege. If you enter alone, you'll be given 30 days only. The remaining days from your present balikbayan privilege will be cancelled/ nullified.
On the balikbayan subject. I'm currently on that. Will I still have to get the "visa waiver" then proceed to tourist after the 29 days?

Yes you can use the non-Philippines credit card to pay the fee. NO, you cant extend you stay until you arriva in the country.

Yes, you can still get 1 year balikbayan privilege if you enter PH with your Filipino spouse. Bring your marriage certificate. (Sometimes they look for it, sometimes not.)
