yeah, extended for 6 months in 2023.. but right now i can't do that again because BI website doesn't recognize my ACR card.. i need to go to office BI.
@@kevink3975Really? I did it online and I never got a receipt, and as I went to the BI office the next time they said I was overextended by 4 months. It took a supervisor and about a half hour of research for them to find that I was actually 3 weeks early. The BI officers were great, but there is something wonky with the online system. I won't use it again...
I have been in Philippines for over 10 years, and decided to use E-services. First thing I found out is only 1 and 2 month extensions are offered, which validated the UA-cam comments that 6 month extensions are no longer available. I filled out the form and after submittal it said I didn't qualify and to go to the nearest Immigration office. I went to a local immigration office and got the 2 month extension. The immigration officers told me that if I go tothe main office (In Intramurial) that I could still get the 6 month Visa. Great secret.
6 months no longer available not even for my wife who is German citizen but PI born. Luckily she can get one year balikbayan upon entry. After that it's a visa run or two months. For me, it's SRRV time.
If I, as a pensioner, decide to spend my retirement in the Philippines, I will have the problem of not being able to get an annual visa and everything else is unreasonable. You cannot expect an older person to have to leave the country from time to time in order to get a residence permit again.
Some are interpreting Circular 2024-001, dated 4/4/2024 and immediately effective as eliminating both (1) any one extension longer than 2 moths (no more 6 months as shown in the video; and (2) no extensions are possible after your 12th month in PH. This last part is subject to multiple interpretations because the helpful chart shows nothing after the row entitled "Extensions during 7th-12 months", implying to some that there are NO LONGER any extensions beyond your 12th month. Where can we get official confirmation of the proper interpretation of this Circular or at least the interpretation that's going to used no matter what the words say?
I applied for my first 29 day extension via online evisa. It was denied and I was told I need to go to the closest immigration office for further assessment. I believe the policies are changing and becoming more strict on granting extensions
My fiancee who has an American Passport was here in Cebu City, Philippines last May 17-24, 2024. He will visit me again this month July 2024. Is he still entitled for a 30 days stay in the Philippines?
PH is not the ideal country for foreigners to settle foreigners in PH can't own properties full business ownership don't enjoy same rights of Filipinos & many are deported Foreigners can obtain PH citizenship if born & raised in PH like the prominent Spanish Ayala family which is not the case of expat newcomers The PH Dream is real for rich Filipinos only
I would recommend do it in affidavit form stating the reasons for extension..example: you wanted to visit more places, or you are exploring on getting a retirement visa, etc...

@@josepanicucci8591 I believe that you can become a citizen By meeting several criteria including the length of time you have been in the Philippines continuously. Question - my partner already booked for 34days prior the extension request. Will he be allowed to enter our country and just go to BI in the airport to request for an extension upon his arrival? Or can I help him through e-services with his info but Im the one who will process it from the Phil but he hasnt arrive here yet so it will be in advance prior to his arrival?
My husband booked a 6 weeks return flight to Philippines from UK. We forgot that since I’m not flying with him he is only allowed to stay 30 days visa free. Is it possible to apply for an extension at the bureau of immigration in the Phil or shall he apply a visa in UK before he travel?
Hello Mam, I'm in the USA planning on visiting in July. Do I need to register with any other thing before boarding here in the US and landing in the Philippines?
Hi jocelyn good morning i am from bacolod city i want to ask you about the application details i see there the latest visa validity what i put there because he is a free 30 days visa i hope you can reply thank you so much mam jocelyn
When he arrived at the airport, and passed through immigration, the immigration officer placed a stamp inside his passport, that stamp is his visa and it will have the date of his arrival.

I've extended my stay for 14 years and haven't been to immigration since I arrived
did you mention in the video? about the date of the application for the ACR card
can visitors under executive order NO. 408 stay more 3 years
Thanks Jocelyn, If I can extend for up to 36 months then why do I need a return or onward ticket.
It's the policy. You have to show you have a way out of country in case. Trust me, have one immigration checks!

What’s the cost of the 6 months extension?
Hi Jocelyn, so I can't extend my visa if I not have a ACR card? If so how long does it take to get a ACR card?
Regards David
Took me 45 days from the BI
It will depend on factors such as the location of the immigration office, number of applicants and if you submitted all the required documents.
