You guys have no idea how much I respect you for giving frequent updates, listening to feedback, and keeping the customer in mind, but ESPECIALLY because you make it easy for third parties to make alternatives. It makes me very happy to see a good company for once

They are a pìece of shit just like any1 else. They made a in between 75% and tkl, then they are talking about aftermarket compatibility. It's the tipical corporative gibberish.
I was really looking forward for a 75% compatible with aftermarket cus they wont make a low profile chasis, but good luck!
I love this company, they are truly transparent with their clients. I don't mind spending money on a company that actually cares about its customers.

This would be perfect, one thing most smaller form factor keyboards always miss.
Having no function beside looks would be very very disappointing.
I think it's pretty obvious the only function they're going for is to visually show and confirm whatever key is pressed is actuated at 0.1ms or whatever. Please give me a volume control function though I BEG

honestly the led bar just looks cheap imo.. See things like that on all the budget customs like akko's, epomaker etc..

I gotta be honest, i love you guys... Ive been a lover of the 60HE for over a year now, and i will support your products most likely in the future too. But in my opinion you should have gone with a classic TKL design with this. But hope dies last
I agree. On a technical level, I'm loving the 80HE, but the layout is just not for me.
Either 65% or Classic TKL, with or without a knob, would have been the move.
Absolutely amazing company, just shows its absolutely possible to be transparent and actually makes it so much better, cant wait for this thing to launch!

This is sooo amazing, its the perfect fit for me. I just ordered the keycaps which I will be using on my White Zinc 80HE ;) and with the option to exclude the stock keycaps there is no unnecessary waste :))
I think it will be great if all the languages for iso layout is an option for the standard version since the keycaps are the only thing that’s different
That's in fact how we do ISO at this time. Last year we added FR and ES language keycaps.

even though the reports can sometimes be negative i will never fail to appreciate how transparent you guys are as a company and thats what i love about wooting.

Love the idea with the led bar. So many things possible with this thing. Like to see some 3rd party integrations with often used software like discord (Led 1 lights up when person 1 is talking, led 2 lights up when person 2 talks and so on), maybe cpu meter or ram. Also I would like to use it to show up different profiles when you change from gaming to typing. ❤ your work guys!
My only complaint is now I want on board arrows but your products are so amazing I might eventually get those as well. Ty for making a great product, I hope to have a proper review after I test it with 3 sets of switches/ get new keycaps.
Just wanna say, I appreciate you explaining the reasoning behind the small premium cost of the module + components. It makes it more palatable to understand why things are priced higher.

super excited for this keyboard ive been using a keychron which ive been happy with for a while but i want something a bit more competitive but kinda wished the 60he arrows keys especially for helldivers. saw this and damn i guess im gonna wait a bit longer.
I was ecstatic when you made the Alumaze60 in purple for the 60HE. Went perfectly with the keycaps I have. I would absolutely get the base 80HE PCB and switches if you guys made an Alumaze80 down the road for sure!

This comment is probably not being read anyways, but I love small companies with people who actually desire the best product they can build and price it fair and square while talking to the community. I love the thought about the RGB bar as a little indicator "screen" and the keyboard with a knob would be absolutly perfect, even without it looks very promising and Im probably preoderinng it! GL and dont rusht it :)

Tks for the feedback !! But I see no value on the LED bar.. being honest with you, could be a stealth variant btw... 30+ people do not take this too seriously... for me mechanics is better than aesthetics
If you're using macros or layers, The led lighting is a helpful tool to confirm what layers you are on.
Right now my keyboard turns green when I'm on my macro layer so I know I'm holding the correct key. With an led bar, I could just turn that green and make the keyboard more stealthy while still having a clear signal about what mode it's in.
I wish more (keyboard)companies do this, transparent, informative and listens to the community.

I think it is a great solution how you handle all the different variants.
In the future I would love to see , tactile magnetic switch and a flat case .

cant wait for this keyboard. i use my F keys, and arrows and such on the side passed bottom ctrl up to delete on the HE60+ does not have that and this is right up my alley and in 8 days too.
I don't need this keyboard. I already have 2 other HE keyboards (and way too many MX switch keyboards). I don't particularly love the layout. But I want to support all the work that has gone into not only realizing this board and bringing it to market, but also in meeting customers where they are and improving from feedback. This sort of transparent, customer-centric approach is how businesses should be run. Wooting is doing it right. So I may just purchase this keyboard regardless, and will definitely look to the Wooting storefront occasionally for accessories and upgrades. Y'all deserve my money. Your software and support is excellent. Some day if you release a TKL that I can drop into a Geon case or a 65% that I can stick into a WT-65 compatible case, I will buy it. Even though I don't need it. Keep doing what you're doing.
Love your work and interaction with the community. Still hoping that one day you'll do an ergo product. Even a Wooting mashup with Redox, Ergodox or something would be amazing.

glad my email feedbacking the 60he+ module plate not being compatible with after market pcb mount stabs were addressed! idk if u remember replying to me, but u personally reponded to me asking me to file away some of the plate
What set were you trying? I just ordered some TX PCB Screw ins, 1.6mm, long poles (using Magnetic Jades)
@@flyingwhale7176 i tried that and aeboards staebies, both couldnt fit, so i ended up using the provided ones, after lubing and tuning they have no rattle for me so i guess its fine

One use for the LED bar might be basic system stats - CPU/GPU/RAM/disk/network usage, turning the colors e.g. from light blue -> green -> yellow -> orange -> red.
I feel like you guys need funding for some of these scaling challenges. The videos feel great in transparency and also odd in discussing solvable lifecycle phases.
(Calder) The challenge we have is not funding, it's building the team, systems, and processes to fit the scale we've grown into. It's important to us to keep company culture and mindset behind running the company.
It would be helpful to get external experienced people to give insight in how other businesses operate, review our systems/processes, and give feedback. That helps us make better informed decisions and ways to build what works for us.
If you have this experience, or know people that do, I am welcome to have an open talk, and learn/get insight.
Concerning discussing solvable lifecycle phases, you would need to expand a bit more what you mean.

Very nice very good, like everything about this. Very happy with my tofu 60he but i really want just one thing which will probably take a looot time if it comes at all... 7u layouts. Very niche probably but to me it just looks so much better and im more accustomed to it.

I'm just guessing here, but I think a sizeable portion of your market would actually see the third disadvantage (assembled by the customer) as an advantage. :D

Tbh I would have liked the LED Bar to be a metal accent piece such as brass or copper, etc. im sure it can still be done, but would be cool if a future iteration or in a higher end version/after market

Heres an idea for the next keyboard. A wired/wireless capable 75% keyboard (like a 75% Razer V3Mini) with Lekker switches and a VOLUME KNOB (not cylinder/roller).

I love this company, they care, i am enjoying my 60HE every day. I fell like the big companys like steelseries and razer not care any more, my last steelseries broke after 5 weeks, and custmer service dident care. I had some questions abut my wooting 60HE, and they answere me quick.
I hope somday wooting wil make mouse and controllers, becus i am trusting them.
My dream would be if wooting made ANSISO layouts for their keyboards in the future.

Personally, I would prefer a slightly more minimalist case design (without this curved rim), but I will definitely order it anyway because it's probably going to be an amazing product 💛

I still don't understand why this isn't a TKL or 75% layout. The website says they didn't want to go for a full TKL to save space. If that is the case, why wouldn't you just go with 75% and use an existing standard?
Either way, I guess it's exciting for the people out there who want a 80% keyboard.

what makes your keyboard any better than my old logitec k120 without the letters on the keycaps.
It would be nice if you could offer all the color variations in a fully assembled form, casual probably care about the colors and not much about anything else but don't want to assemble they own keyboards.
Something I don't seem to understand is the choice of layout, there aren't any custom cases that fits this PCB layout. Really hope for a future either regular TKL or 75% module to put in custom cases, even if its pretty unlikely now. For now I guess I have to wait or settle with the 60He+
I pretty much just want to order the standard 80HE but I really love the optional blue tray plus I'm a bit confused by the switch option as I want what makes Wooting keyboards Wooting, if that's the rapid fire keys and I Really love the idea of partial depression of the buttons to vary my movement speed when play Rainbow 6 Siege but I also know I prefer as quiet clicking switches as possible and I don't know if this is possible with the custom Wooting keyboard. I also want to preorder asap so I can receive my keyboard asap.
