@lyssadeHart - what a great series of videos, I find your interpretation and examples extremely helpful in my prep for the ICF exam. Thank you!
One question I have though, the latter videos seem to look at the competencies through the lens of the PCC Markers. I'm slightly unsure how to "use" these markers in my prep/revision. I know the exam is the same regardless of the level we apply for so struggling to envision how the PCC Markers might impact/be reflected in the exam questions. Looking forward to reading your insights. Thank you.

Hi @tuzungumze - I am glad you found the materials helpful. I do go into a lot more detail on my website. And I work through scenarios using the markers and explaining the reasons in great detail. :)

I loved the take on silence. I do have a question here. When we are doing video sessions, is possible to see that the client is contemplating but during audio sessions how can we determine the silence has arisen out of processing or the client waiting for another question or have lost us due to drop in the internet. If I check in then it might interrupt the flow of thoughts but I do get restless during audio sessions especially now that I need to record for evaluation. Could you share your thoughts ? Thank you for all that you do.

This is a great question. It speaks to how we notice the space around us. It is also a question you will need to feel into. In an interview on my podcast, with Chariti Gent, MCC, she talks about the 20 second rule. I think when the line has gone completely silent, it's probably useful to make sure the connection still exists. Yet, giving a bit of space before we ask, "still there?" is useful as well. I would offer that for your evaluation, you make sure you have the best internet you can have and record on Zoom, so that you can see the client thinking, and reduce that distraction so that you can stay fully present with your client. One less worry for you in demonstrating partnership.

Loving all your ICF Core Competency videos but wondering if you created on for #8 Facilitates Client Growth • DEFINITION: Partners with the client to transform learning and insight into action. Promotes client autonomy in the coaching process. Maybe I missed it?

Ok, you're the second request today for #8... I think maybe I missed it. I will check and see if it's lingering in a "to be released" queue, or if I need to record it. Thank you for noticing!!!
