    Try our version of Carioca using Glutinous rice flour and All purpose flour. I added all purpose flour to make it not too chewy. It's crunchy outside and perfectly chewy inside!

    Dough:
    1 1/2 cup glutinous rice flour
    1/2 cup all purpose flour
    Water (room temperature) - approximately 11 to 13 tbsp (make sure to add water slowly until you get the desired consistency of the dough)
    Cooking oil for fying
    1/2 cup brown sugar for the caramel
    Yield: 20 to 21 pcs
    Procedure:
    1. In a bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour, all purpose flour, and water.
    2. Shape into balls. Ball size is 1 tbsp.
    3. Poke the balls using a chopstick.
    4. Fry at medium-low heat until light golden brown. Transfer the balls into a plate.
    5. Make the caramel: Over medium low heat and in the same pan with cooking oil, put the brown sugar. Cook until melted.
    6. Add the fried Carioca balls and coat with the caramel.
    7. Turn off the heat. Transfer the Carioca balls to a plate.
    8. Put the Cariocal balls in skewer/bamboo sticks
    9. Serve and enjoy!
    Pamamaraan:
    1. Sa isang malaking mangkok, pagsamahin ang glutinous rice flour, all purpose flour, and water.
    2. Mag-scoop ng isang kutsara at ihulma ng pabilog.
    3. Tusukin gamit ang isang chopstick.
    4. Iprito sa medium-low na apoy. Ilagay ang mga Carioca sa plato.
    5. Gawin ang caramel: Sa medium-low na apoy at sa parehong kawali na may mantika, ilagay ang asukal. Lutuin hanggang matunaw.
