That rusty handrail really makes you feel safe, also i could not wait t go out and have a toast there with all my... oh wait you can only fit a skinny person in there because of the space and also the risk of that "terrace" coming apart!
Exactly. The fridge and the cabinets are awesome and cool, but then the sink threw me off completely. What a joke to such a beautiful and organized kitchen.
The details bothered me, not like I could ever afford it anyway:P but like the shower head in the master suite looked way low, walk in closet door looked mad skinny. Idk
Normally I love the apartments and houses that you showcase, and I normally never leave comments... but this apartment just doesn’t feel finished - especially for the asking price. I get it’s Brooklyn, but I mean, yikes. It looks cold and it looks like it’s still going through construction work.
Honestly for someone who’s always wanted to live in New York this is exactly what I’ve always imagined if I got rich and wanted to buy a loft in NY I absolutely love this !!!!
I love how you promote all that "Natural Sunlight" in the bedrooms and than people pay me $$$ to hide and block that "Natural Sunlight" as a Professional Window Treatment Installer. I appreciate you sir! You get a Like from me Sincerely.
Custom (customized), industrial, bohemian, let light in, luxury, tights together, sustainable, high end, (countertop used for no reason), intimate feeling, cozy, grand, oversized. This meaningless terms are why architects can't stand realtors
The ceiling brings back memories... I dated a girl for a bit who lived in a semi-legal loft in Williamsburg in 2001 and the ceiling looked like that although there were some big hooks on rails left over. The windows were ten feet off the ground and ran the whole length of the space, but all but one were rusted shut, including the one that accessed the fire escape. Her roommates had built stairs and a little rickety deck so you could get up to the open window and actually see out across the river. They were on the 6th floor and close to the river so the views were good. It was unbearably hot in there in the summertime though, and I could not sleep when I stayed over, so I set about to fix all the windows to accommodate the breeze, and rebuilt and expanded the deck with stuff I "found" at a nearby construction site. The roommates were DJ's and hosted a lot of parties that lasted all night. I will never forget lounging on that deck afterwards watching the reflection of the sunrise on all the skyscrapers across the river. Eventually it would hit the water and make a million sparkles, which you could also faintly see reflected on all the buildings and the bridge. It was really beautiful. Those were some great times.
I lived in a loft in San Diego which used to be an old bank. A lot of you are misunderstanding the beauty lofts have since you never actually lived in one. This is an outstanding loft and I hope to live in it someday ❤️ lofts are unique and have a distinct feeling which some are not acquainted to but it’s truly remarkable 👍 also I’m 27 so it’s not like I’m a boomer
They forced 4 bedroom in a place that could have max 2 bedrooms. The smaller bedroom in the lower floor I would use it as storage, and the bedroom that has "windows" looking out the the loft, I would completely remove and make an open home office (or update with better looking glass to have some noise reduction)
I am fully aware, even in the Uk that many apartments have toilets directly attached to them. This however is a beautifully designed apartment costing $4m! When Eric is extolling the virtues of the custom designed kitchen the door is open giving a clear view of a toilet! How is that view edifying or hygienic? With so much thought and design execution given to this apartment, my issue is why wasn’t some thought given to this ‘problem?’ The powder room appears to be large enough to accommodate a different point of entry? In smaller apartments, I understand this may be unavoidable, but not , I submit in a state of the art $4m apartment. To Corbin, although I live in the Uk, I do understand the price structures for property which are unique to New York. My issue is not about the price. It is about a design faux par which should have been picked up.
I love how you show us such a wide variety of property styles. I’ve actually learned a great deal about modern design from this channel. ps: The way the architect incorporated windows into the 2nd floor bedroom wall is quite brilliant.
I have watched hundreds of real estate properties for sale. This is my favorite. Earthy, large, and snuggly, every space, is magical. A sheer joy to live in, with the custom furniture, exposed concrete and beams, and, fantastic views. I could live there for weeks, without the need to go out! I want it.
Why do I feel that he's struggling to sell this particular place? It's nice, and I agree that $4 million is a reasonable price for the place, but it's kind of basic?
4 million is not at all a reasonable price... Its not even in manhattan and its in an ugly ass building... And yes, it is REALLY basic. 1 million at best.
I love this apartment soooooooooo much! Personaly I don't like it when a house has too much empty space or things that are luxury for the sake of luxury but here everything tells a story, and really shows personality.
This is, definitely, one of my favorite so far. The only thing I didn't like was that bench at the dining table but, man, everything else was amazing, starting from that industrial look.
Staircase in the entery is a brilliant idea. You come home, there are people in the living room that you don't want to see, you can go to your room using that one
They mean the layout and features. Normally when you go in an apartment you don't get to decide what the cabinets are made of, nor the layout of the floor plan, etc. Those have been decided already
Unlike most comments I do like the apartments interior and use of space, I love the industrial vibe it gives off with the exposed concrete. However I really think this house has been furnished pretty poor, it has much more potential and the price tag would make more sense if the furnishing was cleaner.
The comments say the loft feels unfinished or discombobulated but I actually love like it feels sorta like a maze / have a lot of Private spots esp since lofts are usually too open of a space other than temporary walls...4M is nuts tho but that’s New York for ya...
Just watching so many videos on new york apartments/lofts and it's just making me so much more motivated to work toward being able to live off doing something i love and that will someday make me financially stable enough to move into a place like this. Maybe not this big, but a large loft is definitely a dream place to live. Gonna update yall in the future to see where I am in life 🥴

More of NYC, like Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Bronx or even New Jersey, across the river!

So true.
I was getting those vibes as well

You really sold me when you opened up that WINDOW to let the natural sunlight in the room 5:50

Anyone else notice that the dining table “light fixture” was literally a single light bulb on a cord?! 😂
Malvin Torrens it’s custom
its was dope though, hahaha i would love that, he really sold the whole mixture of luxury and industrial feel
omg XD
Yeah but it’s awsome
It’s custom to them, meaning it’s not the original
I know it's meant to look like that, but that sink section in kitchen just feels nasty with all those exposed pipes underneath.
yeah it's literally the only thing I disliked about this apartment
You can always get parts you don’t like refurbished.
Exactly. The fridge and the cabinets are awesome and cool, but then the sink threw me off completely. What a joke to such a beautiful and organized kitchen.
right so not luxurious
I think people still live there and it might just be some mess they left over.

I could live in that kitchen alone
Good
Ohh come on man
SAME, that kitchen is set up for people who like to THROW DOWN in the kitchen. So funcitonal
I love your display name, krispyshorts is a heck of a lot
Cool but looks like I could live in the fridge
Idek why but I feel like the layout wasn’t very well done
yup, I agree with you
The details bothered me, not like I could ever afford it anyway:P but like the shower head in the master suite looked way low, walk in closet door looked mad skinny. Idk
Max Spettmann ya. The word that came to my mind at first was “ discombobulated “ lol
I cannot agree more.
C I AGREED. POORLY MADE. DON’T LIKE THE LAYOUT NOR THE FLOORS.

Ben Ellis welcome to nyc
I get your point, but that's the deal with an industrial design.
Ben Ellis i would live there even if they paid me 10 billion
The kitchen sink man...
@Ben Ellis FIrst time I commented on this channel and agree with your comments!
Erik would totally not fit under that shower head 🤣
Tall guy problems
I'm 6'6 and as soon as I saw that it was a no for me not even if they paid me to live there lmao

I don't really get why people like high ceilings. Most of the space above your head is not usable space, so you're kinda paying for air.
When you get to a certain price point, you don't care about maximum efficiency as much as maximum feeling
