Sorry you’re sick… Take good care, Rosie. I always try to go to Kaiser’s Urgent Care, which closes here at 8:30 pm or 9 pm (depending on the location I go to) to save the cost of the high copay of an Emergency Room visit, after the Urgent Care department closes, which on my plan would be over $100. My Urgent Care copay is the same as a regular office visit.

Feel better Rosie. You did the right thing by getting it checked out. I took myself to emergency room a few years ago and got 3 stiches on my ring finger. Received a $782. bill for my 20 percent due. I was astounded by the amount and I am now frightened to ever have to go back. You must have picked an excellent insurance plan 👍 I wonder if it could even be the RSV, but I think you told us you had that vaccine. Take care ❤

I had what you had. Drink hot tea with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Then a half to one teaspoon of honey. I drank it two to three times a day. Helped me a lot. I seemed to get over it fast. Hope for you a speedy recovery.

After 8 hrs of wait time in waiting room, when I got to see someone they said we will make you a refrral appt...we don't treat that here. What! Goodness. I could relate to your experience. 13 hours last time I was in ER which I avoid at all costs but I pert near cut my thumb off lol. It was HORRENDOUS. No comfortable seating, it’s all grade school chairs, one tv for the entire place, people sleeping on the floor! And this is an expensive city to live in, I expected MUCH more organized and streamlined!! Nope! That hospital is no better now than when I worked there a dozen years ago! I was 😮! That lovely experience was a couple years ago. Meanwhile…. I’ve had a DASTARDLY URI since 12/14. I haven’t been sick like this for YEARS. But I refuse to see a doctor. There’s nothing to be done except rest and time. I KNEW when I took a gaggle of teens to the Nutcracker in PDX on 12/8, and they were ALL SICK….that I would have a hard time avoiding their germs 😂. But damn, I’m 64- so they were over it in days, I’m still counting the weeks! All that to say-HYDRATION IS KEY, Rosie. Please rest and keep hydrated so it doesn’t go southwest Baltimore on ya! Binging old TV has been a lifesaver! Gunsmoke and Dick van Dyke! Uhnny Utz! 🎉
Everyone has been getting extremely sick lately. This reminds me to 2019 when everyone was getting the mystery flu.. I myself just recovered after being sick for about a week and a half. I’ve never been this sick in my entire life. I missed work and spent the whole week coughing up tons of mucus in bed thankfully, it was the worst but thankfully I’ve recovered fully.

hope you get better quick but just buy a lateral flow test they are like 3 quid here and it tells you if you have covid in 30 minutes at home, i have to use them all time due to my lung condition as if i have it there are special meds they can give me not sure you get them their unless you have a special lung condition like mine but maybe you can still get them
