I think people have lots of questions but don't ask because it isn't "PC" to ask so I am going to ask because if it is something I am wondering about than i am sure other people are. I first want to preface this by saying when my daughter and I first met you we did so because we loved your whole vibe and your honesty and how you say what you feel. I can see that you are still that person so we will continue to follow your channel we love watching your adventures. That is actually how I first found your channel I was googling urban exploring in our area and one of your videos came up. (the one with the tunnels and the flood waters). So on to my question - Do you still want to be called Rosie or do you prefer a different name and what are your pronouns? I ask this because i respect everyone's idea of who they are no one can tell a person who they are inside only you know that so I will call you whatever you call yourself. Your journey is honest and inspiring and that is why people are drawn to you. that is why we were drawn to you. Wish you much happiness in your future adventures.

I have watched you for years and have enjoyed every minute of it. I share your concerns about influences on youth. But, having had many dear transgender friends, I certainly do want to tread very lightly on this subject, as you say. I remember your visit to Jimmy Swaggart and Family Worship Center with Missy Jenn. God bless you, Rosie, and thank you so much for the part that you played in my life over the years. ❤️

I think this is a very personal and intimate topic, and it is not the business of others to comment or judge. Sexuality belongs to the person and is none of the business of others. The world nowadays lacks of this modesty. Everyone wants to claim what/who he is and splash it to the face of others. I do not care how you identify. I care if you are a good or bad person. I care if I can communicate with you, exchange, discuss, share human values. I see who you are Rosie, and I guess people love you because of that. I am glad you went through this life evaluation and rethinking and that you found your own way. But more over, I am happy to hear that you are happy that way. Because this is all that matters. Sending love from DC.

Thank you Rosie for sharing this. It’s inspirational. Years ago my 20 something daughter came out to me. She was tortured (internally, not literally) with her own journey. I always recognized that she struggled with her identity but I waited for her to come to me when she was ready. I wasn’t exactly sure what that would look like. One day I had the opportunity to say …. “You know… there is absolutely nothing you can do or share that would change my love and pride for you”? I don’t think she expected that but she asked me to sit down with her and she very nervously and tearfully told me that she was a girl. We embraced and I told her how proud of her I was. I told her God doesn’t make junk. We hugged and smiled and cried together as she was finally able to take that very scary step. Since then she has thrived. She started her hormones soon after. She hasn’t had surgery (yet… I think it’s her hope to one day achieve that). All I knew was that I love her no matter what. She knows I’m here for her. It hasn’t been easy as she’s had to navigate telling friends and co-workers. I can’t imagine her anxiety. I’m proud of my beautiful girl (she’s almost 36). I’m proud of you Rosie for your authenticity and honesty. I think we need to have these conversations. There is a lot of ignorance out there but being able to talk and understand is huge. I have appreciated you since I discovered you a couple of years ago. I’m sure all of the factors you mentioned caused you to be thoughtful and discerning about what and when and how much to share. We need to have these conversations. I think the more we talk and understand we might be able to overcome any stigma (one way or another). Thanks again Rosie. You’re amazing.
    xx Janine
ps. I agree about the sort of thrust to influence young people (under 18) and I agree with you. I attended a support group meeting with my daughter and there were parents there with children as young as 7. They were passionate and vocal and I felt uneasy for these very young children. I do think it’s important to support our kids while trying not to influence them into a corner that they may one day not want to be in.
    🙏

Rosie O'Kelly🌹. I always give you a rose when i entered your chat. Rosie, I had the honor of meeting you as a intelligent hard lady of the Rancho. "Always a lot of maintenance, to keep up with at the Rancho". You often said. Gender never gave me a 2nd thought. You were beautiful from the inside out with the biggest kindest heart. We had so much fun traveling to Vegas and different place. You kept us all very entertained and helped us through Covid and our government crapola and i learned alot from you girl🌹. When you decided to detransition, I felt that was your personal decision and I wanted to back you up no matter what. Ok so you changed a few things and you are a very handsome man, you still have all the same ideas about how are life is moving and you still make outstanding videos. Look at you doing an 18 hour stream in that deadly Vegas sun. You did it with determination and drive. Rosie M or F you are one amazing person and i value your UA-cam channel and you treat everyone with love and respect. You will be in my heart, held tight forever. You look so handsome and young for your age Rosie O'Kelly, please write your book.. Get out there and travel, but wherever you go, you must bring us along🥰💙. I havent been in your chat for quite awhile now but i watch every stream. Will be back real soon. Im very sorry to talk so much. Hubby always says I am writing a novel but

that a great take on how the world has tuned it into a trend and pushing it down peoples throats which is wrong, thats what it was like for my son when he was younger aged 14 pushed down his throat at school so he thought he was trans, now he is 22 and luckily i was able to tell him to wait and see and it turns out he was male after all, which i knew as i could see all his favourite things in life we all male orientated which suggested he was being manipulated by people at school and social media.

The very first time I watched,I was hooked on your bright outlook and honest opinions. It was a relaxing change from most channels listening to a person who was middle of the road on issues and refused to stress out or lead anyone else to stress. I have loved your Halloweens, your metal detectors, your garden, your cooking, all a positive in my life as I feel as if you're the perfect neighbor. Yeah I have to agree with you on the influence on the young folks. My oldest kid (now 21) is on the spectrum and is all over the place on gender dysphoria and figuring out if she wants to be a he or binary. Has changed her/his name 4 times now as well. Not mentally stable to do any transition, in my eyes, as they have a lot of mental struggles and transitioning is a commitment. But I was so surprised that doctors today are willing to hand young adults the hormones without getting consent from therapists, etc. As you said, you really need to be committed to this change. Anyway, thanks for sharing your story.

Hey Rosie! Thank you so much for taking the time to open up yourself & share your journey with your subscribers! I truly appreciate your wisdom & recognize that your feelings regarding your decisions. It's clear that with growth & knowledge you are able to see outside yourself & recognize that our decisions have a ripple effect that affects many! I am so happy to hear that you have started or renewed your relationship with God! I found your Channel one night as you had just settled a situation where someone online was harassing you for being Transgender. The Police had just left your home with a houseguest who unbeknownst to you had been running from a previous conviction. As I listed to you speak, I noticed how you handled yourself & others. You handled yourself with respect for everyone involved. I noticed you were not angry or out of hand towards the people who went IRL sending the police to your home. Also, u handled your housguest in a way that u did not pass judgement but made it clear that if your friend did the crime, he must di the time. You stated uour boundaries & stood your ground with bring vengeful for the invasion of your property. Whether you r all dolled up as Rosie or layed back hanging with the guys you always appeared to b comfortable in your own skin, body language. You never see ed to b playing a part or going with the crowd which makes you special. I was just thinking earlier today how intresting it is that at 30 yrs old I would think to myself "How could they" to today at 60 yrs changing that same thought "Wow, that took a lot of courage! Somehow I missed this video & I am so happy that it popped up in my Recommended to watch; you sharing your personal story & explaining your change of thoughts help me better understand what's going on in the 🌍 today! Your decision is selfless & I am sure it was not an easy one to achieve, you had the courage to b authentically you & that my friend is what makes u so special! I actually thought to myself that your detransition was possiby due to your Daughter's wedding where u walked her down the isle that the blessings you have due to your manhood became clear to u in that moment. I also knew that it was your personal private business & it was your to keep to yourself! Hope to catch you live soon! Talke it easy! 🤗💞🙏

This is beautiful, Rosie. I am a big fan of yours regardless of gender. You are one of the good ones. As a Christian, sometimes I am torn...but then I hear of the high suicide rate of transgendered kids, gay individuals, or anyone that feels misunderstood and wrong in the body they were born into, and my heart reminds me Jesus stressed the importance of love. Ours is not to judge, but to love. That being said, I agree with you on the implications of social media and young, impressionable minds. As a teacher, I am reminded that what goes in manipulates how the brain operates. Good or bad, it's there. We ultimately need to support each other while at the same time being mindful of the ever-changing, impressionable brain. The world is a changing place, both good and bad. Thank you, Rosie, for you sage wisdom (I do think it's quite sage!) and the compassion you feel for your fellow human being. I look forward to your book.

"Jaz" Is all we need to know about allowing a child to transition before their brains are ready to make those decisions. I absolutely adore her, and my heart breaks for everything she's been put through for the sake of her parents making a little money, instead of doing the right thing for her.
I'm sure that's not a popular opinion and that's okay, but please be kind because I've had a really crappy day.❤

    • @missychan63
      @missychan63 Місяць тому +1

Please don't get me wrong! I have absolutely no problem with the trans community if the person doing the transitioning is truly ready. A 3-year-old or 5-year-old or 9-year-old or 15-year-old simply can't make life-altering decisions like that, but at the same time if they are miserable to the point of leaving this Earth, What do we do? There are no easy answers but I just think we have swung way too far the other way and it's way too easy for a kid to come home and decide they're in the wrong body... And a week later we've got them in the right one. For now.
I'm just going to continue to put my foot in it, I apologize. Everyone should be allowed to be who they are with absolutely no judgment and no hatred but kids need to be kids before they are adults.

Hello Rosie, I First discovered you when I Was starting out in the Vintage stereo hobby & was so glad that I Came across you a couple years ago & really enjoyed your vintage stereo video's & coveted your electronic technical skills which I Do not have. LOL! , So forgive me I was not following you very close for the last year or so due to caring for an elderly mother who now has gone home to be with the Lord. So imagine my surprise when I Came across one of your newer videos to see some guy impersonating you. LOL. All joking aside, It is good to see that you are comfortable in your new 'Skin' so to speak. Listen I am not the most PC person, but I know truth when i See & Hear it, & I wanted to encourage you to continue to speak truth to folks about your life experience. You truly have a great gift of communication as well as all the other gifts that you have in electronics & the such. Sorry to babble on, keep up the good fight. Please always remember; We are not loved because we are valuable, we are valuable because we are loved by Jesus! God Bless!

I've followed you for many years, and have prayed hard for you, because you're an awesome person.
I praise God, that things are aligning themselves for your life!
I'll continue to pray, that God moves on our society, to do something about the dark side of Transgenderism, that the deviants stop getting their way, causing our children to be more confused than they already are.
I remember, many years ago, an awesome performer, named Walter Carlos, who transitioned and became Wendy Carlos.
Back then, when someone transitioned, they spent years in counselling, before even being considered for surgery.
Nowadays, we're convincing CHILDREN, to mutilate their bodies, through chemical sterilization, and butchery, they call "Gender Affirming Care".
