A follow on from my previous one-of-a-kind hats video, we now look at some special unusual hats, some very difficult to obtain support granted hats, a community promo and a Christmas hat which just so happens to be so rare only 2 have ever existed. There's also more Valve weapons than just the Valve rocket launcher which have really early unusual effect and even some glitched weapons which allowed you to apply paint for a short amount of time.

I was able to buy one on the community market it too long ago. I love it so much. I even painted it, making the horns yellow. Now that I know that a version of it was made for a kid with cancer, makes me love it even more

No and no. Its neither those effects. It uses unusual effect “Particle 1” which is alot more intense than Flying Bits.

It's flying bits, if you put it on a cosmetic (I've tried) it seems to bug out and the hat lags around behind you... Flying bits does look a lot like burning flames. And there is even another flying bits that's like scorching flames.

I tried that combo back when I had my Sunbeams Master's, worked pretty well and fooled a lot of people until they inspected my loadout! :(
The second Blood Nosed Caribou belonged to someone whose backpack is now private. Both were safely in the hands of rare item collectors who know full well what the item is, how rare it is and how expensive it would be. So no reason to fear its deletion.

Wrong hat, there's a non-red nose variant that is relatively common and goes for ~$100. The one I'm referring to is the very same one from the video, of which there are only two ever known to exist and have not circulated due to ownership by collectors.

fun fact: the paint on the cow mangler also effects the projectile color.
It did once, but that was patched :(
I have a balaclava painted mangler, I got so sad when the projectiles changed to not change color.

I think it's clever that Valve gifted him a *"Death-Defying"* hat, really awesome
"Flying Bits" Fire effect for weapons
"Particle 1" the same particle effect of a player on fire (in game it sets the player to appear fire while equipped)
"Invalid Particle" Shows nothing, as the particle index most likely is 0
That explains why I kept seeing players being on fire without taking damage.
I found a way to get unusuals whenever you want the only problem is it's completely random
I think I heard of this strategy. Is it the one where you buy keys and unbox crates and cases?

Deleted System 32 and it didn't do anything, I just happened to have faster loading times
i had the original gibus, and i never did anything to it. it just vanished and i cant tell you how fucking mad i am. my merc badge also dissipated.
Same, and I’m a part of GEWP so I BASICALLY need it.
I am not sure about the badge, but you can get the gibus back if you want, all I did (Which was just a few days ago) was to contact steam and tell them that I deleted it by accident, then 2 min after, it were in my backpack again.

There was definitely two Randolf the blood nose caribous, for some reason the collector who owned the second one went private and it stopped being registered on the item database, the collectors name was Ace.
Both Caribou's are in collectors backpacks. One of them moved his entire collection of rarities into a private backpack. The item ID is 2239544655, in case you wanna know.

Valve no longer gives out hats of choice with Unusual effects to people who find and report game breaking bugs (because they wanted these hats to be unique and not risk that someone wants another Sunbeams Max Head so there would be two). They will get the Finder's Fee hat with an Unusual effect of their choice instead.
@Casperr: Cool that you actually read our comment on your previous video. I'm just a bit sad you didn't mention Zemnmez's Sunbeams Ebenezer (he also has two Finder's Fee hats with different effects). I have a screenshots of him as Spy with the Sunbeams Ebenezer hat:

The Deflector guy was actually given a unusual of his choice.
The hat was called Cheaters Lambnent, this item was awarded on September 2, 2009 to all players who had not used external idling programs, and had played at least once since the introduction of the item drop system.
During the Mann-Conomy Update, it was distributed a second time for players who had not received it during the initial drop. This second distribution also included players who were excluded the first time for using external idling programs.
The eyelander particle can be seen probably in sfm tf particle files

You can still get this hat but not in the unusual form. You just gotta get unusual haunted scrap metal from defeating the HHH. Then get I think 4 red and one other hat idk. And craft. The blue print can be found in the crafting section of the item page. But idk if it's only available in a Halloween event or any time.

One of those bug reporters goes on community servers and exploits them and their plugins to hell, I forgot the specific name, but they did have the Finder's Fee.
Ah, yes, giving him a lookup now, I do recognize items out of his bp. Even his profile comments show a few people getting pissed for his actions.
He does it for his own amusement. What I say clearly explains his 3 finder's fee hats is because no person is going to go through the game engine's outdated coding to find actual problems to fix in the game unless they are purposely looking for exploits to use. I really hope the community starts to see how much of a dickhead he is for the things he does but they are too blind to see past the hat for "helping" the game. I'm glad it's not me who's the only one complaining about this guy as well.

My favourite rare items are probably the rocketjumpers with killstreak kits applied to them, because I play on a custom gamemode where, through shenanigans, you can make the rocketjumper deal damage.
That day that killstreak hats and tradable Black Roses were born is one of my favorite days in tf2.

The flaming eyelander can be seen in the TF2 Mixup 5 match 1 where Robin takes part in the competition as a demoman. With much higher quality footage of it.

Something else you could mention is the crafted festive weapons or the glitched killstreak kits that could be put on anything.
Not only do the painted Cow Manglers show the paints ingame, but they also used to have matching colored beams (although I think that was removed some time back). I used to own one of the Balaclava Forever painted CMs, and the beams had the darker tint of the paint. Honestly, the painted beams weren't very stunning (the darker shade made them slightly harder to see). Still, it was pretty cool.

Basically what the other guy said. Delfy does not report bugs to Valve so they can fix them. Delfy (who is likely told about the bugs from other people anyway) publicises them in his videos and makes the game worse for everyone who has to play with someone exploiting the bug.
Valve rewards those who tell Valve directly about bugs *before* they are publicised so there is less people aware of them and therefore less people exploiting them. Essentially the opposite of what Delfy does

i think the finders fee is really cool and recently i have be scouring the code of tf2 looking for possible game breaking bugs so i can get the finders fee

I’ve got an Isotope Unusual Crusader’s crossbow and it’s war paint and festived.
9:27 this glitch was only able to be used for only 5 minutes and some people where crazy enough to paint the cow mangeler in the short time they could
Muselk found 1 of the 2 randolf hats on a snowy last server. Coincidentally, there was also a golden pan on that video. It is the rednosed carribou because of its distinct red nose instead of that regular 1 key one.
It could of been an australium pan aswell.
I’ve met the guy with Randalf The blood nosed caribou in game, he gave the description “Love it or hate it, you gotta admit this is pretty cool!”

They changed the hats for bug finding since there where rumors of one of the hat owners trying to sell their account.
I remember in 2016 while playing a trade/afk sever I saw the bloodnose hat on a player and I always though it was cool and wanted it but I didn't know at the time it was a limited item
i used to play mvm and devour maps, i played something around 20 tours with kritzkast & i got their hat. i'm a friend of one of them nowadays.
No mention of the notch head? Or the octopus hat?
