Congrats on your first Porsche 911. Brought back a lot of memories of when I bought my first 911 over 30 years ago... love to see how grateful you are for it. Enjoy it in good health and safety.
I felt your excitement through your video. I've wanted a 911 since I was 10 years old when my uncle took me for a ride in his Carrera about 1978. I had the chance to buy a 1999 996 convertible, but I wasn't in a position to afford it with a wife, 2 kids and bills. I'm 55 now and I finally bought my own Porsche (although I opted to get a 2014 Cayman S). I absolutely love it and I have the same smile every time I look at it and especially when I drive it. Good for you. Enjoy it.

Dude!! This is awesome. Glad you experienced this. I was going to do the same trip. But my boy sold me his Vette for nearly half of what he was asking for it. Still getting the urge to buy a Porsche.
Love the music choice when you first rolled out of the driveway. I remember being a 17 year old and buying a Mustang GT and driving it three hours home. I'll never forget that moment.
So excited for you! My first is a 914…special connection….was owned by my aunt and I bought it 28 years later not knowing it s was her car, Same level of excitement, in my case, to reassemble and build it into the car I wanted. Congratulations, your car looks fantastic! Oh, and of course next one is a 997.2 with a Six-Speed. Colour is optional C2S
Amazing content, I usually skip/fast-forward car vlogs for the sole purpose of just looking the cars and not really care about what the vlogger is saying (because some just sell you stuff), but your video is different it's interesting and the way your filmed it was very wholesome and seemed authentic so I was hooked! Can't wait to see the Porsche build!

Congrats on your first 911! Love that the 996s are being appreciated now. Btw - Aerokit + that rear wiper = a super rare build. You did really well buying it off Rennlist.
Thank you. I wish you a great time with your porsche. You helped me a lot by reminding me about goals in life. I'll come back to this video when I got my Miata. Best wishes & Greetings from Germany, Julian :)
Man, this video is sweet. Love how much youre in love with this car and you can just see the passion and gratitude throughout the video Congratulations, that car couldn't have gone to a better owner!
I am from the Robbinsville, the town you drove through to get to the Tail of The Dragon. I remember seeing my first Porshe 911 in person and fell in love with them.
I live in Eastern Canada and it's pretty secluded with minimal choices for enthusiast cars, so a few friends and I will fly to Toronto or Montreal and road trip them back. Such memorable experiences. Big props for getting the dream car at such a young age.
Fun video. Welcome to 996 ownership. They are great cars and hope you enjoy your ownership. One tip on warmups, according to the experts allowing the car to idle during warmup is actually not advised. The warmup procedure should be to start the vehicle and drive it immediately with "mechanical sympathy" not beyond 4k RPMS until reaching operating temperature. This brings the car up to temperature quickly, the most damage to the cylinders occurs during cold idle/warmup, best to get up to temperature quickly and safely.
Thank god I saw this video, THIS CAR a gen 1 996 is my dream car as well. I'm still young to afford this car, but I really do hope I get to own one in 10, 20 years time. Aero kit, oh my, how nice is it to be in a 996.
My side dream is to run a ducktail on it, like the 996 sport classic. It also has an aero kit front and side. Lee from 9Werks has a beautiful Irish green with fuchs wheels and.... yeah I dream too much though 😂I can't stop thinking about it@@nhpstudio
I have never seen your channel before and this is my first video from you. This was a pleasure to watch and truly made me happy for you… will be me one day. Soon.
I know someone stated already, but to reiterate. Never warm this car up in idle. You want to stick the key in, put you seat belt on, start the engine, and go. Keep it under 3k RPM until the everything is up to temp. Never go over 3-4k of the car isn’t up to temp.
Of all the people in the world to buy a vehicle from… those are the kind of people!! You know just by looking at them, that car is in the best possible condition maintenance will be no doubt up to date!! Looks like a good buy!

That’s amazing!! What a journey it is, spending that much time in our dream car. I joined the PCA hopefully there’s events near me soon
Absolute love for this video, wow, im speechless. You are a blessed guy! i wish you and your family the greatest blessings and greatest hapiness!
thank you so much for the kind words!!
incredible video man. congrats on that beautiful 911.
thanks so much liam!
Awesome video also super inspirational. Takes me back to almost a year ago when I bought my dream car. A 2003 SLK32 AMG, same year as me just like yours! I saved and searched marketplace for a year manifesting a fast old benz... I bought it then had one night's rest and headed straight for the Rocky Mountains. It's awesome how many parallels our stories have!
wow that’s insane!!! so awesome man, congrats! Hopefully u subbed got a lot of content on the way
Congrats on the car man, it looks stunning. Your video has hyped me up even more for saving for my dream car, which I should be getting next year.
Really love the style of the video too, the filters are lovely.
thanks so much! that’s awesome, hype for you. And appreciate the comments on the style, i did all the color grading myself !
Thanks for sharing. I did SoCal to South Carolina in my dream car earlier this year. I wish desperately I had recorded this much of the trip.
996s are finally getting the respect they deserve 🎉 awesome video and congrats on an awesome buy!
Finally!!! Thank you man
Bro I never watched any of your videos but I’m happy as hell for you! This is one of my dream purchases as well and I get to live vicariously through your vid while I get my money up
Thank you so much!!! If you dream it homie you’re gonna make it happen 😎 i hope u subbed got a lot more content coming
So proud of you! Got your dream car all on your own...at 22!!!
Dude!! This is awesome. Glad you experienced this. I was going to do the same trip. But my boy sold me his Vette for nearly half of what he was asking for it. Still getting the urge to buy a Porsche.
Congrats from a fellow 996 owner! Welcome to the family.
As others have said don’t warm up the engine. Just take it easy until it warms up 😎
Thanks for the tips! Didn’t know. 996 family😎
Love the music choice when you first rolled out of the driveway. I remember being a 17 year old and buying a Mustang GT and driving it three hours home. I'll never forget that moment.
Awesome video brother! Gives me a lot of inspiration.
This video was awesome , thanks for sharing . Looking at a 996 C2 , hopefully we’ll get the deal done.
thank you! Try your best you won’t regret it!
Colour is optional C2S
no way man, that’s an amazing story. Appreciate you watching the video !
Ayeee! Glad you enjoyed it & watched it through! I got a lot of cool content coming hopefully you subbed
Great journey, congratulations. What an epic first 3 days for you!!!
Yes it was! thanks so much for watching

I am from the Robbinsville, the town you drove through to get to the Tail of The Dragon. I remember seeing my first Porshe 911 in person and fell in love with them.
no way, i remember Robbinsville!

hell ya thank you!
I live in Eastern Canada and it's pretty secluded with minimal choices for enthusiast cars, so a few friends and I will fly to Toronto or Montreal and road trip them back. Such memorable experiences. Big props for getting the dream car at such a young age.
Thank you so much!!! That would be a fun drive, especially with friends
Well done Sir! Welcome to the family
hell ya thank you!
Congrats! The 996 is a fantastic car! Hope you enjoy the hell out of it! Cheers from Brazil
What’s up brazil!!! Thank you
Congrats. This was fun to watch, I'm sure it'll be even more fun for you to look back on in the future.
can’t imagine what it’s gonna be like to watch in 20-30 years
Thank god I saw this video, THIS CAR a gen 1 996 is my dream car as well. I'm still young to afford this car, but I really do hope I get to own one in 10, 20 years time. Aero kit, oh my, how nice is it to be in a 996.
bro yes the 996.1 aero kit is gorgeous ppl sleep on it. If you dream it you will get it i know it
My side dream is to run a ducktail on it, like the 996 sport classic. It also has an aero kit front and side. Lee from 9Werks has a beautiful Irish green with fuchs wheels and.... yeah I dream too much though 😂I can't stop thinking about it@@nhpstudio
just saw a pic of one recently with the ductsil, and the entire aero kit, looked so good
Beautiful car and story, thanks for sharing with us! I hope to one day own one too :)
thank you so much!!! anything is possible!
I have never seen your channel before and this is my first video from you. This was a pleasure to watch and truly made me happy for you… will be me one day. Soon.
Thank you so much! You’re gonna get it soon! Hopefully you subbed got a lot coming
@@nhpstudio you know I did!!
I know someone stated already, but to reiterate. Never warm this car up in idle. You want to stick the key in, put you seat belt on, start the engine, and go. Keep it under 3k RPM until the everything is up to temp. Never go over 3-4k of the car isn’t up to temp.
thank you so much!
Of all the people in the world to buy a vehicle from… those are the kind of people!! You know just by looking at them, that car is in the best possible condition maintenance will be no doubt up to date!! Looks like a good buy!
they were the greatest! they gave me a whole binder of all the previous records! I’ll make a video about it soon. They also were happy to see it go to a good home
Wishing you many happy and safe miles of driving , such a lovely spec, drove my 996.1gt3 from from Uk to Ireland when I bought it , a journey not to be forgotten, appreciated the Cranberries music in the background!
Dude unreal!!! Ya the journey and miles are what it’s all about! When i come to Ireland you’ll have to take me for a rip! And that song made me cry 5 times on the way home, such a good song. All the music were songs i listened along the trip
Truly inspiring video
Enjoy the car man
It's beautiful
thank you so much
Damn. I bought my 911 from a private seller in Miami back in 2020. I flew down there, checked it out and then put it on a transport service to bring it back to MD. Now that I watched this video I kind of wish I drove it back. Congrats man. Nice C4S aero. Enjoy it in good health.
That’s awesome! hopefully next time you can, maybe there was a reason you didn’t. Thank so much for watching
This video keeps popping up on my page so I decided to watch, very glad I did, epic video, epic car, and epic dude. We're about the same age and I had a similar experience with my dream car, focus RS a couple years ago, that came to an unlucky end. I now have a 340 and my dream spec e36 m3, but every once and awhile I consider dropping everything for a 996 C4S, one day I'll fold. This video really resonated with me, thank you for sharing
you’re a legend bro! thank you! glad you enjoyed and could relate to it. I almost got a c4s before this, my friend has one & loves it. Do it soon before the prices go crazy
Love to see your passion, the car is a beauty.
thank you so much
Aero kit, carbon fiber, and yellow seatbelts… bro that is an incredible find. A really special car, I’m glad it will be preserved (and enjoyed) by someone who appreciates it! Hope to see it at a meetup somewhere someday.
Right! Thank you! Where ya at? hopefully our cats come together
Congrats man! What an accomplishment. Can’t wait for my first one !
hell ya coming soon bro
You know it’s a good channel when you’re hooked halfway through 1 video 🤝
ahh thank you bro
There are some cool options for cup holders for older Porsches. It's a lifesaver ;-)
Found so much joy in this video! Dream of owning one
ayee so glad you enjoyed!
this is crazy, when i seen michigan i clicked but the intro made my jaw drop. Thats the DNR down South River, i live on South River. Thats badass and congrats on the car!
haha no way that’s crazy! thank you bro 🙏🏻
Love it man! So crazy, I just bought my 996 C2 5 days ago and the algorithm sends me this. I relate so much!!! ❤
NO WAY DUDE!! That’s awesome! Congrats man that’s amazing
