- When my friends at @GYEON_official asked if I would be willing to tell my story through three and a half minute video for a new campaign they were rolling out my reply was almost immediately yes. The catch was I wanted to be able to tell it through the journey of a bucketlist roadtrip. Those 3 and a half minutes grew into something " a bit" longer thanks to the help of an incredible crew that continued to capture every amazing view just as I was seeing them.
This is my story, MyWay, how it started, how I got here and told through one of our @Porsche road trips. Me, my wife and our Goldendoodle Lucy spent 11 days away from home, 9 of those days roof top tent camping on our 2004 Porsche 911 C4S.
Big thank you to Gyeon Quartz, @EvanPollock, @brandnhaley, Kenny Perkins, Dakota Huntley and DeAnte Grinner for tagging along, eating gas station food, sleeping in the dirt and capturing all the perfect moments! - Авто та транспорт
This was absolutely inspiring to watch. I hope it gets people out of their garages and gets them to realize the experiences are out there for them and they’re worth having! Well done, to everyone involved!
Thanks to both of you for being part of the online creators that inspired me to realize my dream of owning a 911. Cheers from Canada!!!
@@crisaboar wow, I’m honored to have influenced you in a good direction🙂
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was another half-hearted and chaotic vlog where a young man could just about afford a mediocre 996 and now he's driving around America without any concrete idea and gets stuck somewhere. But it turned out to be an absolute gem.
In my childhood my parents had a VW Golf 1 GLI convertible with the big unofficial GTI 1.8 L engine (110 hp) and with it were always done some nice roadtips. Just cruising through the country and getting to know new roads. Now, at almost 30, I finally got my driving license (which is expensive and time-consuming in Germany) and my love belongs to the second generation Mazda MX-5.
My mum drives a pre-facelift NB 1.6 and it's such a fun, reliable and most importantly affordable little car. And I want to buy my own next year to rattle off the miles and also as a fun little track tool for the infamous Nordschleife. Where others fly away on holiday, I'll be cruising through the countries with my little Miata and getting to know the most beautiful European routes.
Just returned to this after a year, onto my 2nd 996 now after 16 air cooled 911's.
Still an inspirational film. The 996 is borderline perfection
Thank you so much! Congrats on the new to you 996!
Very inspiring. I’ve taken a road trip with my 2 week old 2022 Macan GTS from NYC to Montana, and then 7 months later from NYC to Moab, UT. I had the time of my life. I took it off road in Moab and got it covered in mud, got a flat, and had to drive 5 hours/250 miles to get a replacement tire in Salt Lake City. Since the only place with the tire was a wholesaler, I had to find a retail shop with an account. I did. The wholesaler couldn’t deliver. The retailer couldn’t pick up. I had an Uber driver do the delivery. All three parties were sympathetic and treated me like family. I had the time of my life. Totally worth it!
The Macan GTS was the gateway drug.
This past summer I got a 2022 911 GTS Cabriolet. I drove it 1000 miles during my first week. I tracked it my third week. I took it to Tail of the Dragon in October, and what was slated to be one afternoon became 8 days!
It’s been a purely magical journey with road trips and my Porsche’s. Your story continues to inspire me. 🙏
Couldn’t like this video more. You helped solidify my childhood dream of owning a 996 and while I won’t be camping and off-roading in mine I love seeing what you do. Super inspiring stuff.
Ayyyy I love hearing this! Super stoke for you and locking down that 996 🙌🏼🙌🏼
996roadtrip was a huge inspo for me and i finally picked up my 996 and its been incredible so far. i hope you get yours soon!
sitting in my grandpas brand new 2008 911 turbo s as a kid, and watching the trees fly past faster than i could focus has given me the passion for cars ever since. amazing
Same here, sitting in and working on my dad’s 996.2 Carrera 4, and later a 996.2 Turbo Aerokit, are what made me a true car guy
What a beautiful video! And yeah, the 996 of course. The underdog Porsche. And it’s fantastic.
World it's wonderful 😊😊😊 Porsche and iy looks world 😮
I'm surprised why such a great video doesn't have 10M views yet. Something definitely not right with youtube algorithms. Amazing story.
Thanks so much! 10m views… 😮💨 goals. Thanks so much for watching 🤙🏼🤙🏼 spread the word.
Wow just wow! This is why I love road trips! Nothing to loose - just more to explore! Thanks Brock! So well made video!
Lose money and time?
It has that “into the wild” vibe 🍂🍁
I think I could start my every day routine by watching this video and sipping a morning cup of coffee! This is awesome, you are awesome. "... to have an independence and freedom to do these cool things..." Such a huge inspiration! thank you 💚
I’ve been running a video production company for 10 years now and your story about being an entrepreneur felt like home.
When you said that’s the beauty of a road trip “putting that road behind you because it’s epic” is such a great metaphor for entrepreneurship and life in general.
Thank you for making this.
Love it Josh! it's a process, a battle but so worth it! Definitely going to check out what you're up to! Cheers
Great video!
Amazing video Brock. Felt all your love and passion. Come visit vancouver canada for a great drive through the Canadian Rockies...or a deive to Tofino to enjoy the pacific ocean....😊 thank you!
Thank you so much!
Fantastic that you are BOTH enjoying Road Trips and the pleasure of driving the Porsche. We just drove from San Francisco to Winona Minnesota (family) then onto Niagara Falls, then onto Quebec City Canada and Back. Roughly around 6,300 - 6,500 miles. I'm the 3rd owner of a March 2012, 991 Carrera with 3 pedal Manual and now we have 131,619 miles on odometer. Also took my Ibis MTB with us on the Roof Rack to ride in Minnesota. Life is for Living! Happy Holidays!
It's very atmospheric
Nice vid’ hello from France 🇫🇷👍🏻
You are doing everything right man !!! Cool video ! Fantastic lifestyle 😎😎😎😎😎👍
Thank you!
How come this does not have much more views? Wonderful camera work, amazing quality of content...
Thanks! This was one of the first cinematic videos we created so my page was just a few hundred followers. Occasionally it gets a bump when people start to share it again.
I just love it! Thanks to share your life with us 🙏🏼
Killed it with the cinematography!
Great story! Inspirational, well shot and told. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Truly a beautiful and inspiring story. People like you are living the dream!
WOW, been almost all those roads with my Mazda MX5 2012 GT with the top down!! Roadtripping is the sport of kings.
Lovely video.

I loved this, Brock. So good to meet you and Sarah after hearing so much about you from your mom and grandmother. Would like for us to all get together soon. Perryman reunion in July!!
Thanks Val!
fantastic! I have seen your story with Porsche and tent on it a year or two ago and I thought that was so cool... this video with cinematic footage and your car is just great!!!!
Love it ❤
Awesome story, awesome roadtrip ! Lovely companionship with the Lagotto.
Loved this, well done man👏🏼. As a longterm follower, it was great to learn more about your story and how you got here.
Thanks! It was a bit uncomfortable getting into my personal life but I think it came out pretty good ☺️
Incredibly amazing, fall in love with this video and your narration, keep going like this buddy 🤜🤛

Thank you so much, stoked to read the comments now that it’s starting to get some more plays 🙏🏼🙏🏼
This dude has cracked all the codes. Max respect.
Haha thanks 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Great video. Lots of great roads in there. Here’s to more in 2022!
Thanks Nick!
Офигительное видео и самое лучшее путешествие что я когда-либо видел!!!
Okay i really needed this
Loved this video!
Great story, video and car! ❤️
fantastic video!!!what a story!!
So good! I was not expecting this video to be filled with such a beautiful narrative and inspiring person behind this car. 911's really do have a soul and its owners like this one in the video that give these cars the life it deserves. I'm ready for a drive now. Thanks for putting together this great video!
Man thank you so much for your feedback! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hats off to you bud. I feel the same way about MUSTANG'S. So I'm prepping for a 8-10 month camping trip for saving money and relocate from cali to possibly New Mexico to finally own my own home and land. California is for the wealthy, thanks a lot greedy rich people you can have it! I'm a 51yr old veteran. An adventurer such as yourself. Car top tent for me too. Need to save money first though living in a campground 😎👍
Very inspirational, roadtripping is my thing as well
❤
This was really well done. Doing the same but in my Cayenne. Loved Swing Arm City.
This is epic bud and heart warming, great listen. Love all your content
Thanks!
This video is perfect
And I knew it from first sight
thank you
This may very well be one of the best pit together youtube videos ive ever seen, I actually mean it. How the hell do you only have 8k subs.
Thanks Ben! Really it comes down to one thing: Budget... We'd love to keep cranking out stories like this we just need to get a few brands to support it. Stick around 🤙
I love this car! As much as I love the car, I love the house he lives in even more. What a gorgeous property!
I started road tripping as a young lad in the '60s when all our family vacations were loading up the car and driving to somewhere to go camping. When I got my license and a car, I'd spend hours just driving around back country roads and exploring new places. I became a big rig driver just because I liked being on the road so much. Even after switching careers, I continued to do road trips and have done many cross country drives.
A couple summer ago I purchased a Z06 Corvette in eastern Iowa and drove it back to NV, mostly on two lanes and using a paper atlas. No GPS, no set schedule, no preplanned destinations. It was a fantastic trip except for one thing, dirt roads. Quite a few times, the route on the map I was following turned into a dirt road. The car was literally in like new condition and I was reluctant to get the car dirty or have it bottom out.
I have since sold that car because it was just too nice. I would love to find another 996 (previously owned a '99) and do a "safari" type conversion and then go looking for dirt roads. While 996 prices are going up, you can still find them reasonably so you don't have to worry about banging up an expensive car.
Very nice video but wish you had talked about and showed us more about the car and less about yourself. Maybe you wanted to give us your hostory so I'll check out more of your videos and hope for more car content.
What a beautiful video
awesome cinematography, great production
I think it’s safe to say that Brock single handedly made 996 Carrera 4S prices sky rocket a couple of years ago and this video proves why. Dude is passionate and a great ambassador for the Porsche brand. This was GREAT.
haha thanks (I think) Jorge! I wish I had snagged another one before they went through the roof!
@@996Roadtrip def a compliment brother. Keep up the great work.
Very well done.
Truly amazing! Thank you for making this 🫶🏽
Thank you! 🙏🏼
beautiful and inspiring. Keep up the miles. Love my 996 too...the gem of the lineup (I also drive a 992 CT on roadtrips special in its own way too)
Thanks so much! 996s are just such special cars 👌🏼👌🏼
I want to Roadtrip with a Toyota GR86 from Austria to Madeira.
The idea just appeared 2 Years ago and wont go away from me and this Video is like a scream "YOU HAVE TO DO IT"
That got me
This is amazing
Epic film and an inspiring message!
Thanks Evan 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow. I hung on every frame. Every word. Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you Peter! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@996Roadtrip I relate so passionately to your love of road trips. I’d say I’ve done over 700,000 kms around Australia, and I’m still hooked. I recently bought a 981 Boxster, and already, I’m enjoying the Victoria High Country in this machine. I’d love to drive it across the Nullarbor, too - the desert is just so beguiling. BTW, the cinematography in this video was outstanding. It must have been a huge job to pull it all together.
thank u for the inspiration...
Absolutely man! thanks for watching!!
@@996Roadtrip can’t wait to see more of adventure videos with the 911 also can’t wait to figure out how to get my own and go on my own adventures thru the states
Thanks Brock! Very inspiring indeed.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Nice video mate!
This man is a genius!
Love it. More!
Haha thanks! We’re working on it 😜 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Wow!
Beautifully filmed, very well written. Remarkably inspiring. 🎉
Thanks so much!

Thanks! Huge effort and some great people involved! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
great fun watching this in 4K! lovely pictures!!!
The best way to watch it! 😜🤙🏼🤙🏼
You don't see many 996s out there. What a video!
very nice filming
好帅的911
this is the 911 version that Sally Carera from Cars is based off. It always has a special place for me, One of my favourite Porsches.
but also because of what you said, it's a bit of an underdog
edit: after watching the entire thing, wow you're almost literally living the movie Cars
This might just be the best vid on yt I’ve seen in 2022 and it’s 31st Dec…
Haha I’ll take that! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼🙏🏼
cool story!!
Wow awesome captures.
Thanks! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 check out Pollock Pictures 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I subscribed within the first minute man.
Awesome, thank you!
Bro, this is pure inspiration!
Gracias. 11:39
Thanks!
What a beautiful video! I am so jealous of your lifestyle and your car. I dream to be able to do something like this one day
thank you so much! make goals and stay focused you'll be there sooner than you think.
Love to see this. 911s are like hunting or working dogs, they’re meant to be used (hard), not be stay at home, special occasion garage queens. I would have gotten a more streamlined roof top tent though. 😎
Haha thanks! I totally agree… interestingly enough I have run a hard shell lower profile tent and it was worse on mpgs and the interior room was less. The brick on the curvy car has kinda grown on me 😜 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I love it. Can you post a longer video of this type? I love the racing history with Porsche but years ago I saw a video of a guy with an old 356 and is was inspiring as well. I feel the cars were meant to be driven not stored in a garage. I’m hoping to get one next year. I have Tag Heuer watches (Porsche racing) but need the Porsche!! Loved the video. 😊
love the house.. wouldn't mind building one like it...
hooked from the start to end ,,, amazing content and shots 🔥🔥🔥
Ayeee thanks so much! We had an awesome crew making this happen 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Stumbled across this and am inspired!
Stoked you found it! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Beautifully captured. Love it. I want to try to join the overcrest rally one of these years.
Gotta make it happen! Easily the best Rally I’ve ever been part of
this deserves more views i love this
Thanks! Hopefully UA-cam will keep pushing it. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
As a young entrepreneur we never know what will happen next year. So i decided to buy my first porsche when i can. After watching you, i understood my decision was right. Tomorrow i will get the keys of my first porsche! i live in Europe it is nice to meet with a people living with same passion in different part of the world. Thanks for sharing your story hope we meet in person one day!
Congratulations! And thanks for watching. Enjoy that pcar and 🤞🏼🤞🏼 are paths will cross one of these days.
