How are the steering on these 2021 ar190s? Are they a lot better from older models because I hear the suck at low speed steering and docking and reverse? I just picked mine up but haven’t taken out yet.
Nice! It takes a little getting used to but not too hard no. I did buy the Thrust Vector for low speed steering control for this next year that I’m trying out. I’ll post videos of me with once the weather warms up a little more!
@@yamahaboatguy8941 ya I was looking at the thrust vector and the other thrust thing but they don’t have it yet for 2021. So today was my first day going out and this thing is revving super high almost to the max like 7700 rpm going about 33 and that seems to be my top speed? Was trying to push it all the way that long because I gotta break it in but man seems revs are super high and doesn’t go as fast I was expecting at least 40 mph. I had about 6-7 ppl on board tho.
Bubba Vasquez nice. Haven’t even been there yet! Will have to go at some point. I had a friend recommend Lake Tulloch in Copperopolis and want to try that one too.
@@yamahaboatguy8941 yes lake tulloch is nice too both fun lakes. I'm headed to New Melones this Friday. I'm also waiting for my 2021 Yamaha EX deluxe to come in.
love this channel simply because I have a deposit on exact boat for delivery anytime now. I'll have to wait all winter however being in MN. Nice boat sir!
How's the lake level? I'm from Cali and used to work and jetski on Folsom. The remnants of the town in the middle must be out of the water. Now in Minnesota and love the choice of lakes here and most are free to launch.
James Seagle very cool! The level is at 409 feet. Way under where we are at for this time last year which was 442 feet. I suspect the many heat waves we’ve had and the shortage of power here in CA has got them running the hydroelectric generators a lot more. Minnesota, the land of lakes! Sounds nice. 👍
Thanks Mike! I need to grab more footage this next year but I’ll tell you I had no problems at all pulling wakeboarders. In my experience there’s more than enough power for water sports. 👍
Hey Anuj R! I posted a video where you can hear the engine noise level but maybe I’ll do some more with a little more detail. At 20-30 mph it’s not anything that you really notice, when you pass 7000 RPM and go 30-40 mph is when you probably notice it get a little louder but there’s then also the combo of wind sound also etc.
It’s been great for wakeboarding so far and puts out a nice wake with a few people in it. The tower is excellent for pulling up and tricks. As far as wakesurfing, we haven’t done that yet and are going to be trying that for the first time this season. I’ll post videos of that as we do it. I’m purchasing the the wake booster attachment for that and it looks like with that we’ll get a good surf wake!
How are you loving your boat?
Stop just before the water and take the strap and chain off then just back up till the boat slides off. That way you don’t have to get wet.
I like the suggestion, Jesse! Yeah, would be easier, plus my sons are old enough to help Mom at the dock finally!
thanks for all these vid. you getting me ready for the summer, i got 2 weeks before my 195s get here. cant wait.
Great to hear! Enjoy!

Meant to say wasn’t tryin to push it that high but was testing top speed. But I didn’t full throttle it long because was only first half hr out.
I have 2020 AR190 as well. Great boat! I live in Oakdale n enjoy all the lakes around here.
Bubba Vasquez awesome to hear that, Bubba! What’s your favorite California spot? Bass Lake, Don Pedro, Folsom, The Delta?
Right now Don Pedro is my favorite, cleanest water

Thanks man! You will be enjoying it too before too long! MN has some great lakes and I hope you don’t have to wait too long. Viva Yamaha!

Would you suggest to look used or just buy new for the AR190?
Have any footage of the 190 pulling a wakeboarder? Been seriously looking at this boat but can’t find much on how it pulls ect, thanks sweet boat!

How was the noise level at cruising and top speed? I know the 190’s are quite a bit louder than the 195s?

How much is it to fill up and how much of a gas guzzler is it?
It’s a 40 gallon tank so a full fill up is at about $95. But it’s very fuel efficient, and I’ve gone two full days on the lake and still had gas.
@@yamahaboatguy8941 thank you for the fast reply on my way to redding Yamaha to check out one
Nice! Hope it works out!

Nice boat man
Get rid of the straps and get some boat buckles! Nice boat
Curious if you can tell me how tall the trailer ball is from the ground when level? Trying to make sure I get the correct height for my car
How did you get 8 people in that boat?
Dam is your truck a boat too?
Haha! Yeah I went in too far this time. I was trying to make it a easy slide off the trailer and went a little overboard. 🤦♂️
you backed the truck in too deep. not good.
I can see why its Yamahas budget boat.
I’m a guy on a budget so for me it’s got everything I want, lots of value at 34K.
