By far the best acting hes done I like him but hes not a great actor, well i thought he was great in this,i didn't even know it was him till i saw these comments
Mark Hamil is one of these actors who got known for what was arguably by far not their best performance but that keep pushing and eventually, succeed. I think that's something to be respected.
How so? Why would Luke, a man who's entire motivation in Episode 6 was proving Anakin still had good in him, to the point of entirely throwing away his lightsaber and choosing nonviolence, train Rey like an angry drill sergeant, or encourage the use of violence?
Next show on ancient greeks (not myths). A relatively accuratr Vikings-style series in the Peloponesian Wars for example, or just the Sicilian Expedition of Athens We dont have those, untapped market! Go for it!
His voice is funking amazing, I was blown away to hear him as the Joker. But now this is a whole another dimension to his acting what a presence. I'm never a fan boy. But right now, I am. And I saw return of the jedi the other day and forgot how epic it was and how powerful he is. So sad we lost Leah.
So after distracting his disgruntled emo space prince of a nephew on a salt plain planet Master Skywalker was sent by the Force to train the Knights Templar? Oh and he never forgot Kenobi at 2:15. Like this I do.
I have some questions... 1)Why suddenly they stop talking about the grail even there was a message from the bottle bottom...? 2) what happen to Talus mother? 3) where are the fraternity group? I really don't understand this show...😂😂😂
This is not historical, cool but not historical. MEn usually joined the Templars as nobles (or sergeants if commoner) and they already knew how to fight.
So the Templar are like Jedi minus the force powers and more into killing everyone who didn't agree with you. Say what you want about Jedi, at least they didn't slaughter people who didn't follow their sky daddy.
This is a hilarious 21st century take on the Odre du Temple they originally started out as guards for christian pilgrims who also started the original banks in short the Templars would hold the pilgrim's possessions they would then give the pilgrim some sort of loan. While later on the Templar's would grow in influence and relative military strength their primary duty was to guard King Solomon's temple and protect pilgrims. Overall the Templars were a defensive force who gave charity in their own right similar to the Hospitallers and the other monastic orders. Getting back to the point at hand if you think the Templars were little more than bandits fueled by religion you would be grossly incorrect as they were monks and bankers first warriors second
Actually, Templars are more than capable of dealing with infidels and nonbelievers so long as they're civil. They even ran a banking service for everyone who's willing to deal, be they Catholics, Orthodox, or even Muslims. The Templars are more civilized and intelligent than even the Jedi. If the Jedi ran things the way the Templars did, whole sectors of the galaxy would be jealous of their wealth, and you'd have less Sith insurrections because the Templars didn't make you an emotionless puppet of the Force, God is more than willing to let you vent your emotions so long as it's for a good cause.
I dear... so much wrong with this it’s hard to watch. 1: yet again, everyone including the instructors and full-blown knights throwing the apples is absolutely filthy from head to toe. Why? 2: Soooo you mean to tell me that this guy just decided to let these initiates in a little secret called the phalanx? (Which btw this is more like a Saxon shield wall) and the other guys just never heard of or thought of this? 3: for no reason EVER in medieval times would a rich, sweet, sugar dense food like apples be used to hurl against shields in training it’s ridiculous. Not to mention this little display would have no actual battle field value in terms of training. This whole scene makes me cringe so hard.
If you haven’t noticed, this show is like Vikings which follows history very very loosely. Don’t expect historical accuracy. Vikings is my favourite show and this season of Knight Templars looks like it’ll be great.
You can tell Hamill was having so much fun filming this
I mean he is finally allowed to play luke skywalker
Way more fun than he had on Last Jedi.
By far the best acting hes done I like him but hes not a great actor, well i thought he was great in this,i didn't even know it was him till i saw these comments
Now I see where they got the idea that Mark Hamill should play Vesemir in the witcher.
yeah... about that...
I actually didn’t know he played vesemir till now.. thanks for that info.. pretty cool dude.. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
@@dragonrider4339 he didn't
"You failed to recognize this wagon as higher ground."
Obi-Wan: "That's my boy."
“It’s over Landry, I have the high ground”
😂😂😂😂
I see Luke learned from Obi Wan well using the Higher Ground.
I've been looking for this comment XD
So good seeing Hamill getting new roles
Joker HAHAHAHA
Luke Skywalker
Mark Hamil is one of these actors who got known for what was arguably by far not their best performance but that keep pushing and eventually, succeed. I think that's something to be respected.
I didn't know the Joker was a templar trainer
Thought same thing too
I love Marks final fight at end of season 2. You don't see it but the results.
Such an underrated actor
His voice work is incredible
I think they told Mark, We are going to give you the role and skill that a knight(Jedi) like you should have had.
Mark Hamill getting to play the Luke we should have gotten in the Sequel Trilogy.
This is the real Luke!
2:15 Obi-Wan must be very proud
The creator of this show basically said to Mark... "You know that Joker voice you do? Do that".
It saddens me that we will never EVER see this scene with old Luke training new Jedi. TYVFM, Lucasfilm...
A Re-edit of the last Jedi will be released soon by Ivan Ortega, there you will see it 😎
Disney's ruined Star Wars
By 2030, people will be laughing at your statement.
By 2020 people ARE laughing at your statement...
This is the closest thing we'll get to that. Be grateful.
THIS is what Luke Skywalker should have been like in the sequel trilogy!
YES
Mark using his Joker voice.
Please bring this show back 🙏
Talus is the Luke Skywalker we deserve, but not the one we received......
Damned right.
How so? Why would Luke, a man who's entire motivation in Episode 6 was proving Anakin still had good in him, to the point of entirely throwing away his lightsaber and choosing nonviolence, train Rey like an angry drill sergeant, or encourage the use of violence?
The Luke Skywalker with Joker's voice
@@sam7732better than what we got
You are right
Jedi Order and its bitter fate were influenced by Medieval Templars and their end
Maybe, there are many similarities in both their purges.
It was a mix of them and the samurai
Its nice seeing the Joker incredible voice be used for good.
Next show on ancient greeks (not myths). A relatively accuratr Vikings-style series in the Peloponesian Wars for example, or just the Sicilian Expedition of Athens
We dont have those, untapped market! Go for it!
Wish this show wasn’t canceled
Now this is the training I wanted to see in Last Jedi.
We thought we had favourite character until the jadi came and took all the glory
A true jadi 😂😂😂😂
Wow!!! I never realized Mark Hamill played Talus, great job!!
He needs to play Vesemir!
Nobody not even a nobleman would waste that many good apples in the middle ages.

It's over Landry, I have The High Ground!
Lucas based his Jedi off the Templars!
The joker voice works really well
Love this show!!
Luke Skywalker got really mean
Not mean, stern.
wish I could train with talus!
How Luke trained his Jedi order lol 😂
I just couldn't help but wait+expect him to rip out his lightsaber the whole time
"we had you"
"You had me? You! Had me?! You barely had your faith!"
I love this show...i hope new season will be as good as season 1
Ayush Patel
It will be better!
@@omar_elattar.6500 agree
Mark Hamil for Vesemir in the Witcher i can imagine the Yellow eyes in this scene
That focused, worldly dogmatic view of the Jedi
HIGH GROUND!
Never knew Jedi has a connection with the templars 😂😂
Actually Jedi order is inspired idea from both Knight Templar order (Who can’t marry or having love one ) and Samurai
Hamill in this is magnificent. He should have played in Game of Thrones.
D and D don't deserve Hamill.
Talus in Game of Thrones would liven things up.
Ooooooh he would have been great in GoT!!!
Bruh Talus would've sweeped the floor with his knights Templars there should've been such an order in game of thrones
Strong in him, the force is
Mark Hamill is such a good actor that I saw this season months ago and didn't realize until today that he was in this. LOL
This is the Sequel era Luke we deserved.
“We had you.”
“You never had me. You never had your car.”
I really wish they cast him as Vesemir
The joker at his best
This is the star wars we wanted Our Luke Skywalker
I thought I heard the Joker giving lessons
same.
"For when it rains on us, it rains on our enemies as well. Now look to Psalm 133 for guidance, and *climb that fxxking wall!*
-Luke Skywalker
So after distracting his disgruntled emo space prince of a nephew on a salt plain planet Master Skywalker was sent by the Force to train the Knights Templar? Oh and he never forgot Kenobi at 2:15.
Like this I do.
You can hear Mark Hamill's "joker-like" voice
Knightfall is making up for crimes Disney committed on Mark Hammill from the last Jedi. This is more of how I expected Luke to train Rey
Luke saw the Jedi getting soft in the new trilogy so he left to train real Knights.
Still better than disney's Star Wars...
As far as I’m concerned, this is the real Luke. idk who that sad sack in the Disney movies is.
This is a better Talus than the Talus The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
It's over, Link. I AM the high ground.
black mamba buck tuffs nuts huh
Trinity Training!
If Luke acted more like Sgt. Hartman, I'd go under Talus's wing.
I see Mark Hamill, I like
why do i hear Joker instead... i can't unhear this....
THIS is how Luke should have been in the sequels. One damned job.
Jedi training other Jedi Knights
Hehehe...Mark Hamill channeling James Mason
I can only hear The Joker lol
Knights would join the Templars for a few years, after being in the "company of women". I wouldn't have them as ancestors otherwise.
We need a new crusade
Close your eyes and I swear it's the Joker
WHAT A WASTE OF APPLES
It says in the Background hole that if you can’t handle being single it’s better to get married then burn with passion
I want to be gods executioner
Seeing a king fight is stupid enough
All I hear is old Joker😅
I have some questions...
1)Why suddenly they stop talking about the grail even there was a message from the bottle bottom...?
2) what happen to Talus mother?
3) where are the fraternity group?
I really don't understand this show...😂😂😂
what a waste of apples !!!
I wonder if Ewan McGregor should have been in this too.
Lucke i am your father!
golden ear ring Jack susens say leave that gyspys girls kidds alone
This is not historical, cool but not historical. MEn usually joined the Templars as nobles (or sergeants if commoner) and they already knew how to fight.
Is that joker I here?
Don´t waste food, man!!!.... Use stones instead of apples, O.K???.... What a senseless training....
I don't think you get the meaning of it. All of their Wealth was given to them by noble family, merchant, farmer, blacksmith in France at that time.
@@TREditor The apples were fresh and tasty, man.... I´d rather eat them than use them to train knights....
Why are they wasting food
Just think it was in Starwars and Luke
StarWars 10

i can hear the Joker. is that wrong?
Yeah, me too, I can't take the scene seriously because of it.
I can hear the Scientist
Mark Hamill is a great actor, but I'm not sure about that voice.
Masculinity
I'd be great as a templar, women won't go near me :-P
Not digging the voice
