- The Sur Ron has been a real game changer in the dirt bike world.
It's the iPad of motocross. It has done what Apple did a while back with the iPad: create a new segment of its own!

I've been testing many tyres on various terrains for a while though and will be releasing a test video in the coming weeks.

My brother is 180cm (just a bit shorter than you) and a friend of mine is 195cm (a tad taller), just both adapted their bikes to their heights. Once done, they feel just fine!

Not at all. Electric motors are beasts! Made around 1500km since then

Can you do a installation video of the nucular with description of cabel management etc? I've a Nucular 12F and sadly there's no install examples on UA-cam.
It’s very easy, you have battery + and - (red and black cables) then throttle (you can’t be mistaken it won’t plug on anything expect throttle cable, and then motor phases. The order doesn’t matter, the auto setup will sort things out.
How many minutes of trail riding can you get out of the battery? Thanks.

Salut ! Aucun intérêt de prendre le X si tu penses changer de contrôleur. La seule différence entre les deux étant justement le contrôleur 😉

Pero la gente se organiza en grupos con escoltas y resguardados siguen tratando de vivir sus vidas sin restricciones. Es duro Bro, mi pais está muy mal, pero estoy seguro q pronto seremos libres y ricos otra vez. 🇻🇪. lovely...it looks about as powerfull as an 85cc mx bike..? can you try to adapt one with TRIALS bike tyres i would buy one tomorrow if there was a PROPER trials version... it looks like it would meke a great trials bike because the torque is more important and the lightweight... you are correct though... it is an exciting new category... i like the silent motor i will be able to ride just about anywhere without upsetting residents.....
A lot of people mount trials tires, especially on the rear. I don't because they aren't the best for mud. It's very apt at trial. There's also the Electric Motion brand that makes electric trials bike (you get a clutch!).

Front is awesome, still hesitating for the rear as it's stock… Tuned it a bit for more support though.
How much Power do you get with the 24F Controller?And why Not the popular BAC 8000 Controller?
Same setting that I had with the BAC 4000 (13kW). I could go way higher, but it's just the right power for me and the motor doesn't heat up too much.
I had a BAC (see here ua-cam.com/video/rrWcsNuvMOM/v-deo.html ), had an issue with it, sent it back to factory for maintenance (it's been 3 month and no news)… So it'll be for sale when I get it back.
Apart from that, well tuned they both behave very well, but the BAC doesn't integrate as well on the bike because it's bigger.

How are the winding temps ? Any stat flags, overload on full throttle at max phase..
So far so good. Not a flag. And regarding the temps, I always keep an eye on them and it once reached 80C while climbing a steep hill for a long time. We’ll see how it goes when summer comes.

Awesome hill climb ! I wouldn't let it build much past 80 in summer with slower high torque..
Do you like the nucular controller more than the bac?
They both are really good controllers and provide similar behaviour when well tuned. The nucular is smaller and I like the fact that it can be hidden under the stock controller cooling plate. It's also easier to tune as everything can be done through the onboard screen.
Witch controller, battery and transmission rate are you using?
72V battery with a Nucular contrôler. Transmission is equivalent to a 54T sprocket.

Sur-Ron is bringing out a proper electric MX bike called the Storm Bee. It should more properly compete with motorcycles. The Sur-Ron Light Bee in this video is a bicycle.

Salut dit moi sa dit quoi niveau autonomie et performance après tes modifications ? Et le coût des modification ?
Il y en a pour ±4000€ de modifications (freins, fourche, parties cycles et moteur).
Au niveau de l'autonomie, ça ne change pas grand chose. Mais on peut faire des batteries plus grande autonomie.

@@timd4797 Il y a de bons contrôleurs à des prix raisonnables ±500€, ensuite le gros budget sera la batterie plus puissante, difficile de trouver à moins de 2000.

C'est une X, elle est donc homologuée et assurée. Je roule sur la route entre deux chemins. Et quand j'y suis, je roule tranquille, sur le côté à 30 en général (l'endroit où je fais un wheeling, c'est une route fermée).

Parce que pour que ce soit homologué, il faut des clignotants, un feu stop, des rétros et ainsi q’une plaque d’immatriculation? Je pense que tu es dans un coin tranquille pour pas rencontrer la police 😉

La plaque s’est cassée dès la deuxième sortie et les clignos ainsi que les retros, dans les faits je connais pas une seule enduro avec.
Disons qu’il faudrait pas rouler à paris centre comme ça. Mais dans l’ensemble, tant qu’on respecte en ne se prenant pas pour des cowboys sur la route, on dirait un vélo donc ça va.

J'ai pris la décision au départ de faire en anglais parce que j'ai fait la première vidéo quand j'étais en Espagne et comme ça, c'est plus universel.
Le gros de la communauté n'est pas francophone donc j'essaye de l'adresser au public le plus large possible (tout en faisant les sous-titres FR pour que tout le monde puisse en profiter !).
