Most probably havent heard of him, he needs to do what other singers do, and send a few copies to radio stations. When I was doing Community Radio we would often ask for singers to send us a copy of their cd. It is some of the best advertising they can get.
I love this young man's voice and I wish they would play this kind of music on the radio like they used to. I also would like to add that it's nice to see someone just stand at the mic and sing a great song instead of running all over the place and taking the focus of the song. Critics turn their back on "hillbilly" music and that's too bad for them. Setting the lyrics aside, the chord progressions in this song are so different and captivating that I'm not sure that they have ever been any better. Mo, you are right. It IS all about the music !!!

At 30-35yrs as a musician myself, this gives me reassurance that guys like me, who grew up with and still sing those old songs, might not be a dying breed after all. Years of hard living and playing in honky tonks, has took its toll on me, but seeing this young guy singing this simple song, means the world to me. Haven't had much to smile about lately, but I am now!

Yahweh, according to the Bible, dreamed up hell in "his own mind" (think hard about that) then he created it just as he envisioned. Then he created humans (trillions and trillions of them by now) knowing full well that he would keep alive and imprison the vast majority of them in this awful dreadful torturous place for eternity. NEVER ENDING conscious torment of living souls that were once babies, children, mothers, fathers and loving friends. They weren't murderers or criminals that hurt others. They were just normal people like you and me.
What was their great crime? They didn't live up to the standards put forth by a "god" who claims he alone is Holy and Righteous. This is the same "god" that created the Devil to begin with and turned him loose on unsuspecting humanity. A fully sighted highly intelligent adult with full knowledge of everything wreaking havoc on blind little children without a clue and born into sin through no fault of their own.
This is the same "god" that told humans to slit the throat of innocent animals and spill their blood as a sacrifice that was meaningless anyways according to the Book of Hebrews. He taught humans to mass murder entire cities and races, to steal their possessions and take their little virgin girls home for themselves (what do you think these grown men were going to do to them?).
This same "god" told the Israelites to make slaves of other humans, sell roadkill to them but not to each other. He's jealous, angry, vengeful and extremely controlling. He told Abraham to kill his own son for him to prove his allegiance. He let Jepthah sacrifice his virgin daughter to him as a burnt offering (look up what a burnt offering actually is in Leviticus).
This same "god" creates evil by his own admission, he sends lying spirits, he sends false delusions, he laughs at humans and mocks them. He endorses smashing babies against rocks, says all non Jews will lick the dust off the feet of his chosen Jews (a racist no less by choosing his favorite tribe) even though he supposedly created everyone. He murdered the whole human race and all animals in a global flood which ultimately did absolutely nothing because sin is still here isn't it? He covets and commands/ demands that everything bows down and worships him. He controls us by FEAR not love. I could say much more.

At 30-35yrs as a musician myself, this gives me reassurance that guys like me, who grew up with and still sing those old songs, might not be a dying breed after all. Years of hard living and playing in honky tonks, has took its toll on me, but seeing this young guy singing this simple song, means the world to me. This young man and a few others I have heard have a great traditional sound. Much better than today’s so called country. Maybe this newer stuff needs to be labeled as a new or different genre so we can once again hear country music on country radio stations!
