- A guide specifically for making your Impossible Mode as easy as possible. I forgot to mention in the video is the reason you want to do this method at this specific point in the story is because Necromorphs don't seem to spawn randomly, but only during this part. Your main objective should be rerouting power from mining administration and you want it to stay there for the entirety of your pulse round method. It takes 192 nodes to fully upgrade all of your weapons and suit. It would be around 1,920,000 credits if you were to buy all your nodes for your upgrades.

Please note: Once you kill the Brute, activate the elevators. Enter the elevator that the game tells you to go to. Instead of going to the 2nd floor, go down to the 3rd floor instead. This is the Electrical area, and you will find the room with the upgrade there. Also you will get 2 free Nodes with the upgrades and also each time your done upgrading you need $5,000 Credits to Reset. Try buying Suit upgrade 2 to have extra inventory slots as well when you start.

I'd like to add that they didn't patch the divider glitch it 100% still works, you just have to have the stasis upgrade or shoot the body with any weapon (works best with the flame thrower) while stasis is active on it.
thank you for letting me know! it’s great to do, but i feel this one is a little better when it comes to trying to upgrade everything as early as possible. the divider doesn’t show up until chapter 7 or 8 if i’m not mistaken, where as this one you can do as soon as chapter 4. that way you can go through more than half the game with no worries about ammo or health or nodes.

I didnt find it hard just normally progressing. I chose my weapons and upgrades wiseley and used stasis when in doubt.
The only time i cheated with a quit to menu was the second tentacle encounter.
I was low on plasma cutter ammo, which was the best for the job at the time, and i had 5 rounds when i exited the zero G room.
As soon as it grabbed me i knew i messed up and forgot the encounter was coming, so i quit out and made sure to snag some ammo from my storage before the encounter.
Otherwise it went smooth with only a few tough spots.

If you can beat the game on hard you can do impossible. Its not difficult, once you get the gun you want, keep that one Only in your inventory and thats all the ads will drop in terms of ammo. I had the fusion rifle or whatever is called with 200+ rounds which can be sold for maximum profit.

Also you can do the glitch in the bridge station on chapter 4 to get the level 5 suit early

No you don't need to stack up to do this method later. All you need is 5,000 credits to reset your upgrades, have enough space for deploying the ammo safely on the ground, have enough space on your RIG for all the ammo you're wanting to keep before selling, make sure that before you attempt this, that the Pulse Rifle is fully upgraded before the reset and make sure that you always Save before you attempt this in case of a crash.

@@bd_black3829 Oh! Nice! Congratulations! It isn't so hard that you can't do it. Honestly the best safe and grace of this [Impossible] Challenge of the Remake is that you're able to multi-save even though it's an automatic restart if you die. In DS2 the [Impossible] Challenge is much harder since ammo there is more scarce and you can only save 3 times, with no checkpoints and if you die its an automatic restart. Oh! And the enemies there hit a lot harder and take less damage from you.

Yes, you can. This is one of the best ones you could do it at, but you can do it on any mission or workbench from Chapter 4 and on. Chapter 7’s mining deck has a great room with a store and workbench inside. That one and the one shown in the video are the absolute best ones.

I’m pretty sure it still works, they’d have to rework the alt fire of the Plasma Rifle or just remove resetting your node upgrades for it to not work at all.

I was using this method less than a month ago. Heads up though, be careful trying to buy a ton of nodes all at one time. EA Sanctioned my account almost an hour after I made a 10 node purchase in-game and reinstated it about a week later after two appeals I made. Dead space Remake and DS2 are the only EA games I own and my account is brand new, this is the only thing that could have caused the sanction.
Fun fact. When the impossible difficulty glitch was going on, when you die it convert you to hard difficulty. People didnt know but once it convert me to hard difficulty i switched it to easy. So technically i platinum the game by that glitch but didnt get the red foam finger which didnt bother me. This was on update 1.04 on ps5.
But don’t you need to finish it with the difficulty set to “impossible”?? Please explain.

@ishington yea pretty much. But that was before patch 1.06 rolled out. I just wanted to see if it worked and apparently it did.
@AlleyCrockett it was a glitch, when the game came out. I just bumped mines lower when it set me to hard mode but that was before patch 1.06. Just look some videos on it you'll see

yes, this still 100% works after 1.06. make sure to follow my instructions exactly if you don’t Necromorphs randomly popping out at you.

@@iannvox i can’t think of the specific number off the top of my head right now, but i know for sure that each individual node upgrade on your weapon at the workbench costs 5,000 credits.

Interesting. But makes no sense. The purpuse of the impossible mode is exactly the hard dificulty.
Impossible is not that difficult. Yeah. There are some hard parts but with impaling necromorphs you insta kill pretty much all enemies.
The game seems to be very difficult and/or scary in general for most of the gamers because even one year after release not even 50% reached the fourth chapter on ANY difficulty level.
@@TutorialFux Some people are impatient. It has to work and if possible you should have all the gear and items already. Same for a game like Starfield. Some people did not even went into space after the tutorial.

completely agree with you, i don’t recommend doing this on your first play-through. this is only meant for Impossible mode and for people that aren’t confident in getting through it without dying.
