    I weighed 240 in December 2021 now I weigh 150..Stopped drinking and started exercising. Was an alcoholic for 6 years and im only 27 but going on almost two years sober.

    awesome! You should try single arm shoulder presses with the kettlebell. the instability helps strengthen the rotator cuffs biggg time. love the lower body exercises will def incorporate them

    A friend once told me something that we debated that can be a hack for losing weigh on martial arts
    He spared with me everyday till one day he told me "man, this shit will sounf crazy, but I've lost pounds sparring with you cause you're the lighter mf in here (I'm 110pounds) and somehow my boddy constantly tells me I gotta go faster before you catch me"
    So we went on conclusion that sparring lighter people not only improves speed
    But this all can be just a stupid idea of both lol

    Congrats, bud. Excellent effort. Just to add one important point here. The exercise regimen has fairly little to do with your weight loss. Cardio and strength training are pretty useless weight loss tools. You have to run non stop for two hours just to burn off a small bun...plain bun. You lost weight because you started watching what you eat. All weight loss is at least 90% diet. And the diet is no mystery. Apart from less calories in than out, cut out empty carbs and sugars and start eating more lean proteins. That's the simple version but even that type of a simple approach will lose you a shit ton of weigh, guaranteed. More than any exercise program or fad diet, shake or food. I would gladly put my head on the chopping block and balls in a vice on this one. Cut out empty shit like rice, pasta, bread and (too many) sweets and you're golden. Anyway. Like I said. Congrats. Great effort 👍🏻

      Do tell. Not equating. Including alongside with as a useless food. There is absolutely nothing useful in rice or pasta that you can't get in much larger amounts from vegetables with a quarter of the caloric value and sugars. If anybody wants to lose body lipids this is a sure way to do it. Nothing to do with fads and everything to do with human evolution and lipids being a far better source of energy than sugars...once you actually allow your body to utilise them. But even proper ketosis doesn't have to be achieved to lose weight. As I said. Even a lazy version where you just substitute useless carbs for vegetables will see most people lose a ton of weight. Your body doesn't want to use sugars for energy. It didn't evolve to do this. It evolved burning fat stores for energy. And the moment it actually starts functioning as nature intended, you *will* notice the difference. Both in your mind and body.
