If u want to keep your factory stereo unit than you would have to purchase a low output converter and plug it directly to your factory stereo unit so you can add a subwoofer and the amplifier
I see a lot of comments against the JL audio but I don’t see anyone actually showing anything better for a comparable price/quality No comments heard here on the amp you need to run this sub so I guess it would be another 400-$600 cost in addition to the sub ! Can anybody share what is the investment with a custom box ?.
Speaker aside.... love JL, but no way I'm dropping (essentially) $600 on a box. If you buy the JL 10TW3-D4, and throw it in the SKAR box for the same custom application, you'll save $400! Come on JL....
They sell a custom box for a 10 inch sub and you can find your own shallow sub all for about 250$ or you can get a higher end sub for less that 500 easy. The box is like 150 I believe and a higher end sub is about 300. 1000 dollars for this sub is just straight insane

I’m a carpenter myself I rather built one that sits on my floor/ under seats cargo area you will get more bass rather than behind the seats where it will block the bass flow

Where did you install the amp. You only did one 10inch box but I'm assuming you can do two?
Make a video of a full installation with wires connecting to the converter and all that stuff how to make it better

I can not see any space to wiring!!! That box fits too tightly and I'm not sure if it will be necessary to open a hole to get the wire from the amp.

Because JL Audio StealthBox's are specific to the vehicles year/model/gen as well as cab design.
whole point is the nice custom fit. if they made it universal it would be less precise
