This guy is the best. Don't know how you do it. Great job as usual. About the race, we once again got to witness two greats. These two are just fast but Elaine is a jet.
Shelly-Ann fast start is everything, I think it’s a skill every sprint athlete wish to have she is truly blessed. If elain had that fast start no doubt she would of broken the record already.
but what if the energy used for the fast start is why she doesn't have as much energy at the end of the race? and with elaine, what if the fact that she doesn't have the fastest start is the reason she has enough in the tank for the last half of the race?
Based on what I’m seeing whenever Shelly gets a good enough start to the point Elaine can’t recover she loses, but whenever Elaine gets a start where she’s AT LEAST with her she wins.
You are all missing her drive phase, in both her losses she stood straight up after 10 meters. This race it was around 30 to 35 meters. This was the difference in the race. She ran with so much ease, she ran her race. When she executes she's hard to beat, Elaine or no Elaine. I knew from 20 meters in it was Shelly's race. Simply because she sprang out of the blocks, then executed all three phases impeccably.
How do you have these videos up so quickly???? Amazing work, keep it up !!! Go Shelly, I'm such a proud Wolmerian and Jamaican 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲...and yes I believe it is within both their capabilities to break the world record but whomever it is, will probably need a near perfect race to do so.
They are not the best of friends. Always wanting to be better than the other so there's that drive to be faster. Having said Shelley is my favourite as the very fact that at 34 she's still able to achieve her speeds. Love them both
Congrats once again to the Jamaican Trio, Elaine just has to work on her start and she will definitely break the world record, I am very confident that she can
Yes Barbie Girl. I fully agree with you. Elaine Thompson only has to WORK SERIOUSLY on her start and she will definitely break Flo Jo’s world record of 10.49secs, coupled with her POWER-PACKED FINISH. Further more Elaine is only 26 yrs old so she definitely has not reached her peak yet. But at 34+ yrs old I believe that Shelly-Anne-Fraser has gone as fast as she could run. I wish both of them the best but the one I am sure will break Flo Jo’s world record is Elaine Thompson. And I believe if she sorts her starting out, she will lower the world record of 10.49secs to around 10.35secs.
Though Shelly Ann is my choice , I feel Elaine Thompson has got the build to go faster simply on those strides . Both of them are legends more so Shelly Ann considering her age
I'll be surprised if the world record goes this season, but I wouldn't be surprised if Thompson Herah doesn't break it at the world's next year. Bless up bro 👊

Tru but imo people get track a bit misconstrued at times. Both Flo Jo an ETH were pushing 30 at the time these new records were set and broke. Shelly was pregnant around 30. So the ladies typically peak around late 20's to early 30's. Tau Lou is another one at 32.
@@ybe87 Flo Jo was like 28 when she got her best times. 28 is still young in the scene but 32+ is old. It's only 4 a years gap and yet it's a huge gap in this sport, sadly. You age too fast.
@@undertaker7907 Age 28 IS pushing 30. it's not that young you're a veteran at 28. TBH there isn't a big difference between 28 and 32 people typically don't feel any different at 32 than they did at 28 unless you have a lot of wear and tear and/or injuries..All that 32 is old is based on broad statistics, your prime is 25-34 give or take, as I just said Ta Lou is currently 32 yrs old running PB's
These Jamaican women are somthing else! Having that level of competition running next to you is always going to bring the best out of you. I'm so happy for Shelly-Ann. You can never count her out.
That would be legendary but very unlikely, when Elaine ran 10.54, it's clear that Shelly wasn't in her best shape, like Elaine wasn't in her best when Shelly ran 10.60 here. Now they'll have 2 weeks to rest and prepare for the diamond league final.
The key here is the consistency of ETH & SAFP. Seemingly every race they run 10.75 or less, usually below 10.7. Even if the WR survives this year, that consistency taken through another winter's training without injury will inevitably result in the WR being broken. Look at Usain's times, 9.58 did not come out of the blue, he has so many times under 9.8
@@tsmith9063 That is not really fair on either Shelly or Elaine. In the top 25 times ever in the 100m only 4 were recorded into a head wind: Shelly has a 10.71 into a -0.3 wind, ETH has a remarkable 10.61 into a -0.6 wind. but right now I do think Elaine can run faster more consistently than Shelly
Pocket Rocket is still ticking. Both Shelley Ann Fraser-Price and Elaine Thomson Hera are great sprinters of the 100.0 & 200.0 meters. Both are capable of breaking the 100.0 meter sprint record for women. Good luck and best wishes for both of these legends.

World records are rarely broken in this fashion. None of Bolt's record came from any. Of these. Flo Jo's either, nor Michael Johnson. It comes from believing, executing and usually blowing away the field, wind be damned.
I think it will be Elaine for the WR but I have no doubt Shelly is gonna run under 10.6. In fact, if she had dipped here she would have done it. The best part of this for me is that they're both from my country so I'm 100% looking forward to the continued fireworks. What a time to be alive!

Stephen Francis athletes typically has fast start...for example asafa powell
Real talk
but what if the energy used for the fast start is why she doesn't have as much energy at the end of the race? and with elaine, what if the fact that she doesn't have the fastest start is the reason she has enough in the tank for the last half of the race?
My guy, you don't fail!
Honestly, I would love for BOTH of them to break it!!! They are pushing each other in the best way rn! I love them both!
Based on what I’m seeing whenever Shelly gets a good enough start to the point Elaine can’t recover she loses, but whenever Elaine gets a start where she’s AT LEAST with her she wins.
True.
This, Shelly Ann starts are the best but what mess her up is her finish she needs to fix it
You are all missing her drive phase, in both her losses she stood straight up after 10 meters.
@@wainsworthtingleli8940 I SAW THAT TOO
@@wainsworthtingleli8940 Elaine was sitting in the blocks need to do better job getting out then it's lights out..
The Jamaican 1, 2, 3 girls will be in Paris this Saturday, it’s a World Tour at this point and they’re dropping hits like the Beatles ✅🤘🏽🇯🇲
Shellee has pulled out due to fatigue
No ...they dropping hits like Bob Marley
Lol
🤣🤣🤣
Can somebody say omg these two women is something else, give these Jamaicans a round of applause man come on ,this is battle of greatness
I love your take on athletics, but Shelly is a beats, love her determination and strength. Blessings on the growth of your channel.
Them bringing the best out of each other is amazing
Amazing running times by these two. Incredible! Also shows just how fast Flo jo record time really is. Keep it up ladies
Shelly Ann is just a rocket. Always Amazing to watch
I would be so happy for either one of them. Plenty love from 🇧🇸 Caribbean love
But at 34+ yrs old I believe that
Shelly-Anne-Fraser has gone as fast as she could run.
Elaine Thompson moves likes Bolt, not a great starter, yet powerful finish to any race
I'll be surprised if the world record goes this season, but I wouldn't be surprised if Thompson Herah doesn't break it at the world's next year. Bless up bro 👊
I think they all have the potential to break Flo Jo’s world record! Love Shelly Ann’s persistence & incredible performance consider her age!
SAFP erases all doubt that she is the fastest mom on the planet. She inspires all moms alike 😂😂😂
Nobody doubted she was the fastest mom how many moms care running under 10.7
This 2 ladies are just such a role models competing each other and having such a positive relationship after the race....other sportsmen and women must learn from them. They are a blessing for us.....
Absolutely astonishing time & richly deserved!
Very compelling rivalry between the two Jamaicans which evidently is bringing out the best in both of them...
👍
Such wonderful analysis. If Shelly improves on her final strides (she slows down somewhat whereas Elaine picks up steam in the final stretch), she can definitely get a WR.
Legends are born in Jamaica proud of our ladies
No matter what...they are getting each other better and that is great for the fan..
The 100m G.O.A.T, Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce!! The most decorated 100m Sr. Sprinter in history.😍😍😍😍🤩
Shine like Diamonds. 🇯🇲 has been painting the walls of greatness.I salute you ladies and the whole jamaican team. You guys are rewriting the history of track and field. CONGRATULATIONS.
Shelly is amazing, she's into her thirty's, is a mother, and still can compete with 20-year-olds.....
@@undertaker7907 was like? Thought you would come with facts
@@oneknock5796 ??
@@undertaker7907 Age 28 IS pushing 30. it's not that young you're a veteran at 28. TBH there isn't a big difference between 28 and 32 people typically don't feel any different at 32 than they did at 28 unless you have a lot of wear and tear and/or injuries..All that 32 is old is based on broad statistics, your prime is 25-34 give or take, as I just said Ta Lou is currently 32 yrs old running PB's
Stunning. I'm so proud of these ladies ❤
Love two competitors push each other to go faster.
These Jamaican women are somthing else! Having that level of competition running next to you is always going to bring the best out of you. I'm so happy for Shelly-Ann. You can never count her out.
imagine if both of them beat the record in the same race
It's going to happen they're gonna share that record back and forth
That’ll be insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Legendary moment 🔥🔥🔥🔥💖🙌
That would be legendary but very unlikely, when Elaine ran 10.54, it's clear that Shelly wasn't in her best shape, like Elaine wasn't in her best when Shelly ran 10.60 here.
Now they'll have 2 weeks to rest and prepare for the diamond league final.
That's exactly what I want to happen.
Love to see your take after each elite race. Keep up the good work.
The key here is the consistency of ETH & SAFP. Seemingly every race they run 10.75 or less, usually below 10.7. Even if the WR survives this year, that consistency taken through another winter's training without injury will inevitably result in the WR being broken. Look at Usain's times, 9.58 did not come out of the blue, he has so many times under 9.8
Whenever there a strong tailwind Shelly will always dip below 10.7 for Elaine it doesn't have to be
@@tsmith9063 That is not really fair on either Shelly or Elaine. In the top 25 times ever in the 100m only 4 were recorded into a head wind: Shelly has a 10.71 into a -0.3 wind, ETH has a remarkable 10.61 into a -0.6 wind. but right now I do think Elaine can run faster more consistently than Shelly
Shally Ann I love this Women ❤️💥👑
Could you all imagine if Shelly had gotten that start at the Olympics. She probably would have pushed Elaine to run faster. Love it. Jaminate!
Shelly really black moms would never name kid Shelly that’s a man just look close
@@jffry24 shut up
Or maybe she would have won herself. She's proven here she is not Elaine's pacemaker
Me too
@Spanna Banna aren't you doing that yourself with sfp's win here?
Pocket Rocket is still ticking.
Both Shelley Ann Fraser-Price and Elaine Thomson Hera are great sprinters of the 100.0 & 200.0 meters. Both are capable of breaking the 100.0 meter sprint record for women. Good luck and best wishes for both of these legends.
this is so exciting. I am happy for them.
Bruh ima gone head and say that this channel is one of the if not THEE dopest channels about running period. With that being said, hell yeah either one of these two women at anytime can set yet anothet record
What sprinter can still do what she does at 34? Hopefully, we have another year or 2 to enjoy more of her races before she slows down or retires.
She said she's retiring after the World Championship next year.
Merlene Joyce Ottey OJ, CD lol

I think people forgot that Shelly missed her third step in the Olympics. She said it was no excuse but it did impede her a bit. I love them both. Just awesome.
Great news, need the competition to get that WR broken, need perfect start, perfect conditions, fast track and +2m/s wind!
World records are rarely broken in this fashion. None of Bolt's record came from any. Of these. Flo Jo's either, nor Michael Johnson. It comes from believing, executing and usually blowing away the field, wind be damned.
@@wainsworthtingleli8940Well this will be one of the rare times. The record will go between both of these ladies.
Love this Channel, discovery of the year for me, such excellent up to date info, hats off
To break the WR you need a perfect start and a top end speed...any of these ladies can do it but I wish for SFP.
Thank you for your work. Your narration makes it easier for viewers to follow.
Regardless of who does it - I am so glad I’m here to watch! Great time for women’s track!!
Hello
I am From Botswana and I love both these women so much 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼🇧🇼
PB at 34 after being consistent since 2008 and having a baby, RESPECT
Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce . Definitely a legend .
Always said Shelly has the best starts if Elaine could get Shelly's start she'll break the world record easy
So true
if Shelly could get Elaine's finish she'll break the world record easy
At the time of Flo Jo record there was no serious control for performance substances
These are Queens of Jamaica. One Love
I think it will be Elaine for the WR but I have no doubt Shelly is gonna run under 10.6. In fact, if she had dipped here she would have done it. The best part of this for me is that they're both from my country so I'm 100% looking forward to the continued fireworks. What a time to be alive!
Yeah that's one flaw with her, I don't think I've ever seen her dip, like ever
@@isiomae.n462 she dipped in the 2012 olympics to win I believe
@@JD-nq3yx Fact that you can only point out one instance from her very long career still emphasis my point 🤷🏾♂️... She hardly dips and we know her for it
The speed at which you produce and post these videos is legendary...
how does ETH hit crazy speed levels towards the finish line....amazing stuff!
Here from Jamaica just love your voice keep it up
Shelly-Ann the the Legend, the Greatest, the G.O.A.T and Queen of all time. For Elaine to break the record, she needs Shelly-Ann to push her. Shelly-Ann only needs a fast top end. However it is doable for both on a sunny day. AS a Shelly-Ann fan, SHE IS JUST SO PHENOMENAL! Constantly putting a stamp on her legendary name as the QUEEN and G.O.A.T..
Shelly-Ann's explosion out of the blocks is absolutely immaculate!
