I totally think Barry should have shot him in the back after he got his son back, but I guess they wanted some characters to live by the end. Fuches already wasted most of his life, so I guess that will have to be enough.
Right? For a second, I thought they were genuinely going to do something like "Barry and Sally are just actors in a big play" or "This is how the Barry movie plays out, but Barry/Sally/everyone else got away with it"
The show was good. Not great, but a good show with some moments of great. The 8 year time jump felt forced and rushed. I get the message of the ending, just not satisfying. Most shows don’t end well, so not really bummed about it.
What makes it great is just how real and authentic the depiction of trauma is. It's not sensationalized like on other shows. The way people treat each other, and the cycle repeats itself, really is like how this show portrays. You can be oppressed by someone and then turn around and oppress someone else in a totally new way because it's what you learned.
The moment between Fuches and Barry was perfect. Barry's death was kinda funny, in a morbid way. The only thing I hated was Sally's "happy" ending, she deserved worse.
It’s strange Sally was kinda spared of a worse off ending but in fairness she probably did the least immorally things out of anyone else who died in this finale. Even when killing someone, she was self-defending, though it doesn’t really explain how she didn’t suffer any consequences for running away with a convicted criminal
Yeah, she kinda got away with murder. I used to dislike Kim Wexler’s ending but at least she opened herself for a civil lawsuit for the rest of her life. Sally just told Barry to turn himself in but she never went to the cops herself.
@@jamesbaker3153 sure, its not at all like that in a large store ... but murricans already tested their regulations and found them to be pretty useless, around 1/3 of all gun sales in the US do not conform to the regulations in place. Bill Hader changed everything about the show in one season, including the intro, undoing a show that was made great by many different things he got rid of as soon as he could
@@marcelotapia3970 But Barry was thrown by away like he was nothing. Before, even though he was a psycho, Barry was always a nice polite guy who never wanted to be a bad person or kill. Hey guys, the action in this season was lackluster. The comedy and drama wasn’t tho. The last shootout was straight up copied from “the raid: 2” (the deleted scene of the gang war). Ik this episode seemed incredible bc action is so terrible in Hollywood lately so y’all get a pass, but there are wayy more talented writers and ideas out there, but they are not backed up by rich people and money, so they’ll just stay in a notebook or script instead of a tv screen.
I think they wanted to avoid action this season but focus on tension instead. I was biting my nails on the edge of my seat in the last 3 episodes. The tension was at Breaking Bad level, but for that they sacrificed some action.

While the scene of him buying and walking out with the guns is funny, it was the worst part of the episode. I totally think Barry should have shot him in the back after he got his son back, but I guess they wanted some characters to live by the end. Fuches already wasted most of his life, so I guess that will have to be enough.
This is the most based show in existence. Bravo. The ending is perfect
I thought the woman at the door was going to ask to see his receipt~!
rip barry
is that soundtrack from interstellar? it sounds like it
Oh how I wish it were that easy to buy a gun.
2:26 raaahh
Does anyone know who the cashier is?
“Who do you take me for…you?”
That ring tone 😂
I personally use the classic James Bond Theme.
Perfect script
Boy i wish i could get guns that fast :/
A question for US citizens. Is it real to buy a machine gun in the supermarket that easy like a hairbrush?
Highly wondering.
at least the raven is alive and well
You can't buy guns that easily without I'm assuming an id because he is a fugitive.
He has a fake identity now. He must have known some people who would give him and Sally new IDs I guess.
Not for him to decide? Does he think barry will kill him and he and fuches will fight?
How did you get that from what hank said? Idiot he’s just saying it’s out of his hands
That ending is the most American thing I've ever seen.
Spoilers
I legit thought the whole thing was a play!
Right? For a second, I thought they were genuinely going to do something like "Barry and Sally are just actors in a big play" or "This is how the Barry movie plays out, but Barry/Sally/everyone else got away with it"
@@TheViktorPutin I also thought it was going to end in Gene's cabin
Accurate in America that got guns in retail stores.
Can you really go into a store and buy that many guns?
Typical Gene
The moment between Fuches and Barry was perfect. Barry's death was kinda funny, in a morbid way.
The only thing I hated was Sally's "happy" ending, she deserved worse.
I also expected more (or something different?) from the movie they made, his son's final scene was weird too
It’s strange Sally was kinda spared of a worse off ending but in fairness she probably did the least immorally things out of anyone else who died in this finale. Even when killing someone, she was self-defending, though it doesn’t really explain how she didn’t suffer any consequences for running away with a convicted criminal
Her final scene pretty clearly showed that she did not have a happy ending
He got killed by Rip Torn's fucking "prop" gun, the bastard, curse you Torn!
Yeah, she kinda got away with murder.
I used to dislike Kim Wexler’s ending but at least she opened herself for a civil lawsuit for the rest of her life. Sally just told Barry to turn himself in but she never went to the cops herself.
America is a wonderful place where you can actually do that.
Nope, complete fantasy. Look up the laws in question.
@@jamesbaker3153 sure, its not at all like that in a large store ... but murricans already tested their regulations and found them to be pretty useless, around 1/3 of all gun sales in the US do not conform to the regulations in place. While larger stores pretty much follow the book, its a whole other story for small businesses and private sales.
Those who want a gun right away have plenty of options to get one in the US, just not in walmart and the like. Might be intentional to pick the unrealistic way to get a gun in this show, those writers rarely want to promote gun sales.
California 10rd clips
Nothing about getting guns is accurate here.
Its set in the future, its possible
@@ididntmeantoshootthatvietn5012 It's like a parallel universe if Americans weren't so soft.
@@ididntmeantoshootthatvietn5012 Do you really think California is going to get lenient on firearms in the future? Better chance of pigs flying.
@@adrnacad3434Americans are precisely soft for needing guns.
Didn't hate the ending, it was beautifully directed and acted, but I'd be lying if I said it was a satisfying finale. I feel like this one episode tore down an amazing final season since it just made me wish Season 3's finale was the actual series finale.
Huh? It was good stop whining DAMN
Literally how did you want it to end?
What makes you think that? I thought the finale was excellent and a good send off for the show
The final shootout with fuches and hank was very satisfying
You wanted Barry to live right?
this is america
anti-2a 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
To be honest, I didn’t like how they treated Barry in the finale. He was killed like he was nothing. 4 seasons of characters building all for him to be thrown away and treated like he was weak. He is literally the main character. Bill Hader changed everything about the show in one season, including the intro, undoing a show that was made great by many different things he got rid of as soon as he could
He’s probably seen as a hero to everyone who’s seen the mask collector stupid. Most importantly his son so they did him good
@@marcelotapia3970 But Barry was thrown by away like he was nothing. Before, even though he was a psycho, Barry was always a nice polite guy who never wanted to be a bad person or kill. This season he just turns into a soulless villain who felt no remorse. Barry’s remorse but inability to stop killing is what made him a great character and all that was gone this season. Bill Hader changed everything which once made the show great
How dare you. He was an American hero manipulated by his acting 'teacher'. Didn't you see Th Mask Collector?
@@jorgezeron9435 He turned into a soulless villain in Season 3 Episode 1. After the monastery incident, Barry lost hope for changing who he is and in Season 3 had gone back to being a full time hitman. The only reason he was still acting anymore was to keep an eye on Mr. Cousineau, and since that ended there is no reason to try anymore. His motivation changed because he broke his promise to become a better person after the monastery.
Shocking ending. Much better than the shitshow that was the better call Saul ending though
This is the one of the worse takes I’ve ever heard in my entire life
The better call saul ending was fantastic.
Nah bro, better call Sauls ending perfectly closed the 3 endings of a criminal life showed by the whole franchise. It was about someone finally owning up to their shit. I thought it was pretty good.
@@dookie2707 go ahead and think that but I’m a firm believer that Better Call Saul was perfect up until the last 4 episodes
@@dylanwesley3964 not really. That ending felt like the writers playing God forcing Saul in a ridiculous situation that landed him in prison while Barry seems like the characters decisions is what decided the ending
Ok it wasn’t lackluster and it wasn’t copied from the raid 2
I think they wanted to avoid action this season but focus on tension instead. I was biting my nails on the edge of my seat in the last 3 episodes. The tension was at Breaking Bad level, but for that they sacrificed some action.
White angry sweaty guy walks into a department store says guns and practically loads up on automatic weapons and walks out no questions asked? One word to describe this scene. Merica.
Looks to be a pump Shotgun and ar15? Automatic weapons? Maybe in this alternate reality the ar is auto otherwise nah. And it is not this easy to get guns especially not from a supermarket and certainly not in California. The whole joke was supposed to be a critique of America but is a gross over exaggeration.
@@williamwallice4328 not to mention a NICS search would have flagged him as a fugitive of justice right away
@@theyankeekiller93 wait you’re telling me that background check I’ve done every time I’ve bought a gun actually worked?! I didn’t just sit there for 10-15 minutes waiting for them to stop pretending there was some regulation in order? That’s preposterous everyone knows that a convicted felon can just walk into a 7/11 and get a fully semi automatic rocket propelled assault rifle with heat seeking mustard gas rounds and if he lets his eyes off the weapon for one moment while taking a piss it will grow wings and proceed to commit an aerial assault on the nearest elementary school. The founding fathers knew this and tried to make sure that we only had smoothbore muskets but thank god for the nra and their commitment to enabling my access to WMDs
@@williamwallice4328 ur right. Would this scene be more plausible at a gun show or just out of some guy’s garage?
@@reginaldshort8486 so you’re saying private sales are the issue? Remind me again how many lawfully transferred guns are used in crimes to include mass shootings? Once more were talking about California so this point is moot. The entire point made is this scene is clearly not an accurate representation of firearm purchases in America let alone California but if you want to resort to what-aboutism feel free
While the scene of him buying and walking out with the guns is funny, it was the worst part of the episode. He's in LA, which means it would be like, 2-3 months before he actually gets possession of the guns. It also breaks the fact that with his character trying to stay hidden, there is no way he'd be able to get through a background check. I wish a little more thought was put into that scene. Still funny though.
This is the same show where there was a phone app to detonate bombs.
They clearly wanted to make social commentary about guns and toys together in the same store. I was okay with them taking creative liberties just to make an ironic joke.
