This dude is actually a blessing for not charging money for his brushes.
IKR?!
DUDE IKRR AND THEY ARE SO GOOD TOO
Uhm how to apply the brushes in ibispaint :/
@@milkyyybun it’s not for ibispaint.
@@milkyyybun you cant
I'm starting to learn how to draw digitally and it feels like I'm learning how to draw all over again. I'm super grateful for a tutorial like this!!
Sameeee
Omg same it’s so frustrating
@@egos555death yea😭😭
Same!
Man same I can’t draw nothing 😭😭😭
I thought this said ‘artist guide to procrastinate’ and I was like dude believe me I do NOT need a guide for that
Lmao i get it-
8:09 “This is of course a very rough example so I do apologize for the composition.”
the composition looks like real art, what the hell you mean ROUGH
I gave up after that moment lol. he turns random things into a landscape and with cool characters in it.
@@swordw1612 I just want to kill myself. I love drawing and I want to improve but after trying to replicate his tips for who knows how long and making bad art i jsut want to quit and throw all my art supplies. I just cant
PolskiMangozjeb never give up on your dreams...
@@artpolski2875 don't just stick to his way. The best way to improve is to gather as much knowledge and tips from various other artists. Trust me, you'll get nowhere just sticking to one. But this doesn't mean you're obligated to follow every tip, choose what's best for you.
@@artpolski2875 your art supplies don't happen to be your iPad do they? That would be bad🙃
I have so much anxiety realizing how quick and easy you made that landscape scene 😅 WHATTTTTT?! HOW?!?

It was sped up and also years of drawing
My moth DROPPED
Likely he saw some really good tutorials that taught him all the basics and routines (basically steps you would be repeating in all similar drawings ig) and after a lot of tries drawing these types of works and doing the same routines over and over again, it became easier to him, and he was able to do it faster thanks to muscle memory and just general experience with the little routines and patterns of drawing that certain type of art. That’s why I have an easier time drawing anime heads now (they’re a bit shotty but a little better than when I started) it used to take me a while to draw them but now they’re just a small part of what I’m about to draw.
WTF dude not taking money for your brushes....
your an angel. Gonna be a Patreon lmao
Love the pfp lol
For real, he's a sweetheart and an angel, esp bc others charge for their brushes, which i totally don't knock and say go for it, but that just makes him all the more appreciated.
Whenever I watch Sinix videos I'm like "I understand it in theory but I cannot do anything similar in practice"
As a trad artist for 6 years , I just started drawing on procreate and man it’s harder thn I thought it would :’)
I felt that lmao
please try infinite painter
ohh hi kin i love your art :)) who wouldve thought id run into u here lol
It's 9 months later. Is it easier?
Nothing has the feedback of traditional drawing tools, which I prefer. An iPad with a screen protector doesn't have that same feedback. It feels less precise, but with mileage and practice it won't be an impediment. At this point, I can draw as well on an iPad as I can with traditional tools. For painting, I find it significantly easier because of all the digital tools like filters, layers, and blending modes. If you like traditional painting, Rebelle 4 is it as it as reproduces traditional media like oil, watercolor, acrylics, gouache, etc... very, very well.
@@asimian8500 yes it’s definitely must easier now once you’ve understood how everything works , I’ve gotten used to it and starting to get a hold on it too
sinix: look at this garbage fire.
me: everyone look at the best painting I've ever done.

Holy crap! Sinix on Procreate. This must be a dream. Wake me up bruh.
WAKE UP
*annoying iPhone alarm noises*
@@tekii111 should've gotten the Android like I told y'all.
Finally sinix on procreate! You have no idea how hard we tried to recreate you brushes on procreate forums)
And you'd never acomplish it because sinix himself hasn't even got it perfect which he never will using procreate. Could most likely have better results using paintstorm studio or artstorm studio
@@pyro23120001 or artstudio pro
@@penelopesaladfingers426 thanks for the correction. I meant to say artstudio pro.
The layer limit of a file depends on the size and resolution of the canvas and the storage capacity of your iPad 😊
Really? How come it does that?
I just bought an iPad and Apple Pencil. Timing for this video is perfect
Same! I'm buying mine tomorrow. So many of these little hidden features I probably would have never found on my own lol. HAPPY ARTING
My heart dropped when I finally saw this in my feed..
I'm very thankful for your online resources :^)))
Never clicked on something so fast! Hahaha
It's a lie
Same
Cody Tucker glad to know there are others out there👍
Just got my iPad and Sinix already got me covered.
I'm pretty new to digital art and I've been trying to find a really good art tutorial for procreate. I came across your video by accident and I'm so glad I did because this is an amazing tutorial. Thank you so much for all the advice, art exercises, free brushes, and lessons! Really appreciate it!!
Man you are so skilled, I'm laughing seeing things come together so easily haha. Fairly new to digital, it's humbling feeling like I'm restarting my skills but also exciting seeing this
I honestly clicked on accident but was not disappointed.
Sinix is honestly amazing! Glad you found him
Saaame
your process is as fascinating as your final pieces, i love seeing your flexibility and on the fly decisions. i think it helped me see how i can shake things up and not be too formulaic with my drawing. thank you!
Thanks a lot for making this! I've been too afraid to get into color/shading in my Procreate work. Feels like I'm losing control or something. Really hard to get out of that mindset of fearing failure etc. but this was hugely inspiring, as always
seothis That’s the beauty of digital art: you can’t ruin it! Just paint on a new layer and if you don’t like it you can delete it.
I’ve loved your channel for YEARS, and I’m only just now getting into drawing on my iPad and of course your videos are ZE BEST. Fantastic. No waffling, outstanding drawing techniques as usual, brief and simple explanation AND those fabulous free brushes. I didn’t think loving your channel any more was humanly possible and yet this video proved me wrong :)
i love how chill and fun your tutorials are :") , like an ASMR that motivates you to draw
I really appreciated this video, it covered the most important things I wanted to know, and you did it all at a good pace, without getting sidetracked as some people do! good stuff. I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing more.
this video literally boosted my skills by 10% and i was at like 3%
So.... now you're at 3.3% ?
Lol yeah I was about to say
@@palewine woops I think they meant "to 10%" lol
I think they're trying to say 3% + 10% so now they have 13% skill
Don't ask me how I know, i just feel
No I know lol, just mathematically it would be 3.3
Thank you for the simple tutorial and brushes. I've had my iPad for a year now but I'm always learning new things!
I´m going to sub not only because you make really good tutorials and be a great artist, but also because of the fact that you giving away these amazing brushes for free. This is incredibly generous of you and I really appreciate it!
The number of layers in Procreate is determined by the resolution and size chosen for the drawing. A low resolution setting will result in way more than 20 layers as you’ve stated. It works the other way around too-high resolution=less layers. You can always check the number of layers available for a drawing in the Canvas menu.
OML YAY FINALLY SINIX THANK U IM GONNa WATCH AS FAST AS I CAN ILY
Recently had to Della my previous work and update my iPad, essentially starting from scratch with a lot of my digital art. So having these brushes as my first new set really helps motivate me
This video is great! Its amazing how much information you pack inside your videos and your delivery is so easy to follow. Looking forward to your future uploads!
I just found this video while searching for tips with brushes in procreate and this video here is just fantastic. Especially the dry brush technique looks super fun and I'll give that a try! Thank you for sharing your ideas and knowledge!
you are an angel!! im new using procreate and this video save my life 🤧
honestly one of the best art resources ever is your channel, i hope you keep making vids because they're all really awesome, thanks so much and your art is great!
your art brings me joy
I just want to thank you sincerely for this video. All of them were awesome tips but the one that's helped me the most so far is the suggestion to get a paperlike screen protector. I was shocked, I had no idea those existed, I immediately went and ordered a two-pack online and it has honestly completely changed the game for me drawing on my iPad. It's made drawing more fun like when I was drawing with pencils as a kid and less frustrating without the pen sliding all over the glass. I can't believe I didn't know about that before! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for the brushes Sinix, I'm using them nonstop now :') I've tried to replicate your Corel dry brush in Procreate last year but I couldn't, so I'm beyond excited now :D
Oh boy how delightful it was to come back to this channel... It’s been 2+ years since I had watched and studied anything that is on this channel and now I am mad at myself for not (being able to..?) making time for it. And having bought an iPad in this time interval myself, I was pleasantly surprised to see you are using that too and making tutorials on it. AND FREE BRUSHES!? It’s crazy exciting!
Long story short, I freaking love you man and it’s been great to be back here after a long time, cheers!
The environment select and airbrush tip is so helpful thank you 💙💙 Didn’t think of using the select tool quite that way
Watched this and used your brush. Immediately see real improvement on my portrait drawing. My thousand thanks.
i appreciate your vids so much!!! this helped me worked through a coloring block w/ procreate. im always fascinated by the many different ways people approach drawing on the app, since im still a little new to it. thank you!
This is great - I’d never seen your work before! I’m an architect trying to find ways to be more loose and “painterly” in my sketches and I see a lot here that I’m excited to try.
Learning about the liquify tool just changed my life, THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for this! I've tried for MONTHS to find out how to do digital art. I've learned a lot, so thank you!
You are literally the most helpful and informative UA-cam artist I know 😭👍🏼
That landscape I gotta try! I just got a new iPad and now you made it just that much more exciting for me!!!!
This came up on my feed and wow there are some techniques I haven’t thought of. Thanks for reminding me I got to think outside the box in order to get better.
Wow, thank you Sinix! ♥ :) This is exactly what I need and your tutorials are always so easy to follow. The Anatomy Quick Tips series is always recommended by me to beginners or people who ask me how I learned how to draw faces :D (I used other sources as well, but your tips def helped me the most!!)
I’ve been enjoying your brushes for a week without knowing who you were. Glad the algorithm brought this to me.
I love that you use the HB pencil. I use it a lot too
Thank you so much for the free brush set! They're super great and easy to use!! I've been struggling with brushes so thus was soooo helpful
WHY DO I FIND YOUR VOICE SO CALMING
God, your sketching style is so satisfying to watch. It’s so loose and casual. You look like you have fun.
Thank you, thank you! This is the single *most* helpful Procreate tutorial I've seen.
Hi dude, new to digi art long time design, I’ve been working my way through your back catalogue it’s really helped I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to paint without lines, after watching your coral dry brush vid I stared looking for a version in Procreate and now I’ve seen this post and you’ve made one ! Can’t wait to try, thanks so much for the lessons and brushes.
I love your art, you’re very good teacher!! Thanks for shearing your brushes they are amazing!!
the brushes and this video were extremely helpful even though ive been using procreate for more than 2 years i still learned so much tysm!
Thanks for the brushes, i am gonna try them. I am really happy to see you finally using my favorite app i have been using it for a long time since i got my old iPad 2
You are the 1st digital artist I followed and as I use Procreate primarily and I super happy and like stuff about this video. I too had to use the square for the quick menu as it went off on me randomly without it.
Omg this was the best guide I’ve seen in YT
Sinix you’re the best
I've been using Procreate for 3 years and felt like I was never getting any better. This was so helpful. I didn't even think about a matte screen protector.
Great demo video on Procreate! Love how you experiment and play with the functions and come up with new possible creatures. Hope you will continue to share more of these experimental time-lapses! :)
just got my first ipad, procreate, and pencil and just now finding your awesome videos
Hey just want to thank you for the brushes and the great tutorials! Been itching to try out all the cool stuff in your channel!
This video has showed me a lot about procreate and art I’m so excited to try it
Wow, that was an awesome video! Not only did this include a good basic overview of Procreate, but you used some techniques I hadn’t thought to try, even after using this app for several years. 😮 Thanks too for sharing an entire brush set. I was very excited when you mentioned that. Trying them out right now, and they’re awesome! I’m loving that “scratchboard” brush. 😎👍
The liquify tool is a huge time saver and your pencil brush is much more natural.
Thank you. Thank you Sinix. You just turned like entire day of me trying to figure out skin into less than hour. Respect.
Your video has helped immensely... Great tips to get creative.
I cant believe they actually added a liquefy tool!!! FINALLY!!! This is going to change everything. I think that was one of the biggest requests they had since the beginning was to add that, it used to be a transform tool, but it was really geometric and you didnt have alot of freedom or control with it. Thank you for sharing this, it really is an amazing video, you explain and show things in such a way that makes it seem so easy, and fun! I am downloading the updates on it now. Thanks again!
Omg thank you so much for the brush set!!! I’m in love with it!!!😌😌✨
I always come back to this video thank you !
Thank you so much! I’ve been looking for something like this and I know your advice will be great!
very new on drawing digitally, the brushes helped a loooooottt... Thank you so much!!
So glad I found this channel! You make it look so easy... I'm inspired 💕
I’ve tried sooo hard to recreate the Corel dry brush that you’ve been using on Procreate. NOW I DON’T HAVE TO! (gonna tweak it a bit)
You’re a life saver, I love your style and painting techniques!
I’ve learned so much from your videos it’s amazinggg
Thank you so much for the brushes!!! 🫶🏻
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Love your method on tackling procreate.
Very helpful! You are so great :) I am pretty new to procreate, and tips from you helped me a lot to start paint digitally.

I waited for this ever since you uploaded that first ipad video

Thank you for sharing your brushes.
I legit got so excited when you mentioned the creature pieces you’ve been posting 😂 They’ve been so cool, it’s great to be able to see you doing that in procreate :D Thanks for such a helpful video overall!
I've been saving up for half a year to get the iPad pro for my just on June 16th for art, I'm so excited
Thank you so much for linking your brushes!! I’ve been in an art slump for a while bc I was struggling with my art and procreate..but thanks to your brushes my art has taken a turn for the better :)
Ive been using procreate for months now and I still learned something form this video.
Best video about procreate so far... Thank you
Super clear and helpful, I can really appreciate the reference to technique as well. I’m good at sketching, and as far as everything else goes kind of a Jack of all trades kinda guy. Being master of none always leaves me super lost, so that’s a huge plus. Thank you for the informative video. And free brushes
For a bit there I was lost in thought and I realised I'm watching this video that explains the basics and I already know them all...keeps watching coz its Sinix 😂❤
Thank you so much for this video! I'll probably reference it a lot since ill be using procreate from now on
this video is freaking fantastic thank you so much for this content and also for the brushes and explanations oml 🙏
Finally! Was waiting for this for so long, and here were are.
