Seems to me that the finger holes are a fair distance apart, meaning that it would be a two man job just to lift out the removable part. How about installing gas shocks, it might make it easy for one person operation

.....NEVER .....EVER put a hot-tub in a deck. YOU try to do searching for a leak under a deck .....particularly between the hot-tub and that brick wall.
