British TV is much better quality than in the US. I salute both the original and the young commandos for volunteering for both missions. I was in airborne infantry in Vietnam. War is hard enough in a hot country, but cold makes it much harder. I admire the Russians in WWII. I have slept in -30 F in Alaska as a civilian. The military sleeping bag was excellent, but it is never comfortable that cold. WWII was well documented, and I like to learn from these films. Can't look at my war
I doubt you would be able to parachute with one in. Later supply containers were improved with wheels so they could be moved over flat ground. No idea if they ever put one on ski's

why not have sledge in aircraft and drop with equipment at the drop ?..
