    Hey, are these 4G routers good for playing Multiplayer games on the PS4? (I play a lot of Overwatch and need good connection really badly)
    If so, what 4G router would you recommend just for gaming on my PS4?

      Yes, they all do apart from 3. EE are the worst for this, you can only connect 12 devices on an unlimited plan or use 650GB or they kick you off. They also aren't afraid to charge a premium and you cant game on these services. The only one you can game on is 3.

      The problem is the data capping with three mobile data. It won't let in consistent 4G download speed, once you start watching HD through a live stream. It hits a concrete wall, regardless of speed, whilst fibre broadband won't limit it.

    Hey this is worth a shot. I hope you reply. I have just move into my flat and want to get the Three unlimited data 4g B535. However, when I type my postcode in It ''says;' the area is not covered but I am with three on my mobile phone contract and I was there yesterday and my 4g signal on my phone is very good. So could I just order the B535 to an address which is ''covered'' and then just set it up in my new flat. I don't understand how my phone would work with a three SIM and 4G but the B535 wouldn't pick up the signal as they state? If you could give me your thoughts Would help me out a ton. I might just get the one month contract just to try it.

    • @WingingIt
      @WingingIt  3 роки тому

      That’s very odd. In theory what you’re saying should be correct. There is no disparity between the phone and router signals. Maybe make sure you postcode is definitely correct. Not mixing up zeros with o’s or anything.
      Then maybe just get it for a month as a trial, or even contact three.
      Not sure, a very strange situation.

    Hi mate, I am moving soon and I want to try this out, only problem is the signal for Three network is fairly poor at my new address on mobile phone I get 1 bar signal , could I get one of these boxes and put an o2 or giff gaff sim in, as these networks are good signals. good video by the way , I like your no nonsense approach.

    • @WingingIt
      @WingingIt  3 роки тому

      Hey, yes you can do that. But you'd have to buy the router from elsewhere. They sell them on Amazon and Ebay etc, if you buy direct from Three it will be a Three Sim.
      But yeah if you have better O2 or EE signal then stick a sim for them in. Just make sure you get a good data plan, preferably unlimited.

    Hi mate soz to pick your brains again, the average speeds of Three internet via a mobile phone with good signal is 25Mbs, so how does this new 4g hub get better speeds, ? is it just more powerful than a mobile phone or does it pick a better signal up.

    • @WingingIt
      @WingingIt  3 роки тому

      It doesn’t, it will be the same. The 4G hub connects the same way via the same signal. So whatever you get on the phone will be identical to the hub.

    • @George-bj5wr
      @George-bj5wr 3 роки тому

      @@WingingIt It will always be faster over a 4G router due to Carrier Aggregation and these routers using better standards of 4G than phones. Phones usually use about CAT 5 whereas the B535 is CAT 7 and The B818 which I use from amazon is CAT 19. I get about 200Mbps down and 36 up on a SMARTY sim. If your very close to the mast like 250 meters you will see around 76-80 download and 30-40 upload. Closer to the three mast the better. I was getting about 5-12 download 14-16 upload and it wasn't very consistent fluctuating up and down all the time, then after a bit of tinkering 30-40 download and a solid 32 upload what is quite impressive its aways about 32 upload on every test. What I did was so simple can't believe I didn't think about it before and we all have it in our homes👍 and works a treat!
