I was waiting for the .45 ACP Dissent but bought the Banshee about 2 months ago. D’oh! Would you guys consider getting the Dissent in .45 ACP and selling your Banshee or is the Banshee compact enough for you?
Brilliant Cmmg. A pcc in all the bigger pistol calibers. 9mm, 40S&W, 45, 10mm. Just what Americans need, options. I'm bored with seeing every new gun in 9mm.
Love the idea of this thing so much for HD, but there are no perfectly reliable 25rd+ glock mags in .45. Best is probably Kriss converted G21 mags, but they're still not bet your life on it reliable. CMMG and/or Glock really need to make a good one, without it this is just a toy. Much better off with the 9mm or .300blk version strictly for capacity even though I think for HD .45acp is the better cartridge (slightly).

Cool gun, but too expensive for what it is. I've got a rock island 1911. Thinking of getting a recover tactical stabilizer kit for it. Maybe splurge on a few high cap mags? Drum? $450 gun, $200 stabilizer, remainder on mags. I'll be less than $800 into the whole thing. Won't get the velocity advantage of a longer barrel though.
Keep that in mind the recover tactical "stabilizer" is not a brace so you'd have to SBR the pistol. Read the fine print on their website, I made this mistake and sent it back since I didn't want to register my cheap 1911 as a SBR.
Have you seen the Wraithworks WarScorp9? It's apparently been out a few years and I just found out about it. It looks really cool IMO. It's a side-charging Scorpion Mag AR9 with some nice ambi controls.
