Thank you! I have been wanting to do outside color selection (from within PS) forever! (I've always had to have save the other image, then open in up in PS, THEN do the color matching selection.)
Actually I have since figured out how to use the command in Photoshop CC, I created a "keyboard shortcut" using command + F, and exchanging the original shortcut. 👍🏾
I tried this by protecting my work as a PDF file. When I open the image, it opens in Windows own PDF Manager, and then I can save the image to another folder and then print it or do another without a password. Does this work only with Adobe's PDF reader?
thanx so much .. invaluable info.. love each 1 .. ı thınk the log ıs my fav .. ıt would help me as ım a begınner ın Ps ın terms of keepıng up wıth tuts . ıf tutor could kındly share the log of their project ıt would make ıt easıer on parts that were mıssed out ...
Fantastic tricks my friend. I'am a bit slow on this photoshop keyboard thing. I can't seem to get safari to be side by side like you do on trick number 5 (the eye dropper trick). If its not a problem and when you have the time, please help me out on this one. Thank you for any help you may give me. Once again, fantastic trick, really educational.
There is a very helpful and simple Photoshop trick I am having trouble accessing which is; when replacing a background of a image and then using command F to repeat the last filter used on the previous background. When I use command F I get a finder window on my Mac, I'm sure this is a shortcut that can be changed but so far have had no success in finding it. If you can help that would be great. Thanks 🤔
If you're on Photoshop CC that is no longer the shortcut. It is now Command Option F. On older versions, I know that the first time you use that shortcut on a Mac it asks you if you would like to use it for the Finder of for Photoshop. I cannot remember how to change it back. I work on a PC now.
for Trick number 4... Secure your images.. What If we open this file on a full screen and take a screenshot ? then we could be able to make changes edit print etc :P ( it will lose a lot of details but still its a good idea :P lol)
but if you save the image for the web it saves it as a low res...... so the password just adds a step of security doesnt it? they can get the low res either way put it into PS and resample it to hi res?
Yeah. You can save it for the web and give them a small image. That is an option. But in either case, you can't really take a low-res image "resample it to hi-res," sure you can make the picture as large as you like, but the quality won't be there.
oh my, i get this all the time from clients! if you have ever heard of the saying "garbage in garbage out" that is exactly what you are doing. you can not make a hi res image out of a low res image. in essence you will only get a "larger low res version" with more pixels filling in a low res image. if it is not there, it is not there, period.
man that refine edge thing is a life saver
thanks for sharing
You're welcome!

You're welcome! :)
Really liked that Protect your work tip. Thanks a lot! :D
Vaibhav Shah Do watch out though, people can still use a scrdsnshot to get the image. Therefore always use watermarks.
Screenshots are low resolution. This is so they don't have the high-resolution version.

You said it yourself, you would lose a lot of detail. In some cases, that screenshot would not be good enough to print or do something worthwhile.
Thank you very much guy! I am new follower in your chanel and I have to say you I like what I see. I hope I can learn all of you.
You're welcome!
amazing tricks and are very useful, well done.

If I want to steel the password protected photo then the snipping tool does the job
Sure, you can get a screenshot. The point is that they won't ve a hi-res image.
