I was a Adobe ACE trainer for 15 years and gotta say - probably one of the best teachers I've ever come across!!! Excellent work! An instructor's Instructor indeed!
Your tutorials are some of the best I have ever experienced-your teaching style is incredibly clear, well-paced, easy to follow and full of wonderful examples and tips. It's so helpful that you quickly remind us of keyboard shortcuts you are using as you go along instead of just whizzing around silently and leaving some of us in the dust ;-) I have experienced this with other tutorials and have to play them over and over to get it. I love how you respect the power of the tools, but also point out the limitations of various techniques. What really comes through is how much FUN you are having when working with this phenomenal digital artistic tool, and that enthusiasm is infectious. I am expanding my photoshop skills in my retirement years (adjusting to using tools less often AND memory issues) so these are great refreshers I use to "tune up" before a project. I will be exploring your other content. Thanks again for taking the time to teach!

Having professionally worked as a Photoshop imaging artist, l found this informative and knowledgeable even now. So good for the younger gen and anyone that loves visual arts. Cheers, mate.

I'll tell you why you stand out, compared to the other Photoshop UA-cam channels out there, as far as teaching goes. You do a summary of the verbal diatribe that you have just pushed in a well versed, soothing voice. Thanks for no background distraction when I learn something new for the first time. If I know something about the subject, then music is not a distraction. My brain works in a specific way and it likes coming here for tips. I feel like I have just come out from, a convention on Photoshop, with a head full of new ideas. Kudos, Umesh. Well done.
YOU ARE A GENIUS! I have to cut products out of white backgrounds all the time, and it takes forever with masking. But now this trick is SO FASTER. do the fast work with the eraser (find edges and tolerance of 12%), make a mask of it, shift the edge and feather, decontaminate the colors, and DONE! 10 times faster
When you get good with paths in ps thats the fastest and proper way for packshots and also required by some image banks and used when printing. Is often used in Indesign at the layout stage for overlap etc

Removing backgrounds is probably the one technique I do all the time in my line of work. It’s great to learn new ways instead of the pen tool in which I was using for 15 years! Thanks Unmesh!
I changed jobs this month and now work for an online bike-parts shop and have to do a lot of retouching, compositing and cropping from the self-shot images. For example whole bicycle where I have to remove the background in under 20 minutes, which is simply not possible with the conventional path tool. Coworkers say I'm too slow, so I'm very grateful for videos like this.
Every video you make helps me be a better editor! This tool has always confused me, but now I'll be able to use it effectively. You're one of the best teachers ever.
You are absolutely amazing at explaining this stuff. You are just on the right side of 'under explaining' and 'beating the horse to death'. You deserve a HUGE thumbs up!

It's so fun to come across super useful tools that have been available to me all this time, and hidden in plain sight!
I've just learned more than in two years of the Lens Based Media module in my art school. Thank you.
nice! now I want a simple way to remove the green in the hair...I did a calendar many many years ago and it was such a huge task to remove the reflective color from their original location, cause they wanted odd locations that had totally different lighting ...and it took me forever to make it look 1/2 decent ...and that's being generous...granted I think i was using PS 5 or 6 ...LOL but i've pretty much stayed away from composites since due to that fact... but I want to learn...but man thanks for this...as soon as I saw you did the selection i was GENIUS! mask on the other layer!! DOH of course.. thank you for making things simple to understand and retain!
This is simply amazing. You are one of the best teachers I've seen. I love how you incorporate the shortcuts keys, too. Excellent job! Thank you!

Truly apart from the training, your voice is so enchanting. Love to hear it again and again. You explain things so simply. Thank you.
