Thank you for another great tutorial! I only knew the B&W adjustment. Many thanks!
Vinny, Long Island, New York
Vincent Ciro, Sr. Thank you! I really appreciate all your support! :)
You never cease to amaze! Eat up all your tutorials but have to pause>rewind a lot as you “fly”. Did use the cloud one once making flames. Rest all new. Thanks for providing these.
***** I did use the Cloud one for the flames!
Great tip for Black & White adjustment layer!
socreative Thanks!
I've been using PS for more than 15 years right now, so I didn't expect to get something useful out of this video - the bigger was my surprise that I actually didn't know any of these tricks - and even better: they're quite useful!
rontz Thank you! I'm glad I was able to teach you a few new useful tricks!
Been using Photoshop for many years.
Knew none of these. Photoshop is amazing in that even after so many years of experience there are always so many new tricks to learn.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial.
Been using Photoshop as a studio photographer for 10 years and I didn't know any of them! Another excellent tutorial. Thanks
+Trevor Reed Thank you! I'm glad it was useful!
All these tricks are incredibly useful, thanks for the knowledge.
+Oliver Santana You're welcome!

+Richard Mauro Ricchiuti You're welcome!
Awesome! Working on PS more than 15 years and it was new 4 me. Thx!
You're welcome!
Awesome tutorial, thank you so much!! I'm an old hand at PS, but I didn't know any of this! Fantastic! If you have more tips like this - please, make another tutorial!
Here's part 2
ua-cam.com/video/bV89Yj0Tlc0/v-deo.html
Love the luminosity trick on the black and white adjustment layer!
+Icy Sedgwick Cool! Glad you liked it!
I thought I'd know them all. But I only sort of knew the black and white one. Thanks for sharing!
+Austin Lindsay You're welcome!
Nice video, but you are definitly talking too fast sometimes :)
Yücel Başar I get that sometimes. I'll try to slow down.
Photoshop Training Channel I actually prefer it fast like this. I like to work fast, and often times with slower talkers I get bored and I stop listening. Anyway, I did not know any of these tricks.
Photoshop Training Channel i think your pace was fine i don't like slow talkers that take 20 minutes extra to explain something when it could be concise.
No, don't slow down, you can always back up the video if you miss something. When someone on a video talks down to the audience it's so frustrating when you have to go back to catch something you missed and trawl through all the blah blah blah. A good tutorial is aimed at a certain level. Try to please everyone and you just lose your audience. No matter how slow you go there's always going to be some point an audience member zones out or gets distracted. It's the nature of being human. Don't change a thing! I just discovered your tutorials and they are the best I've found. I'm annoyed I haven't looked harder for tutorials before. I'm self taught up until now and there's an ocean of stuff I didn't know.
Nice. The precise positioning for lens flare was great and I hadn't thought to use a black n white layer adjustment for luminosity control. Yes these will all go into the arsenal. Thanks and I'm glad I discovered your channel.
+Jonathan Ziegler You're welcome! I'm glad you discovered it as well!
These were simple, yet new to me. Thanks
Danish You're welcome!

Only knew about the clouds one, thanks!
+Ali Zahid You're welcome!
These were all new to me. Thanks!
Mark Laussade You're welcome!
I only knew 1 and a half! A lot of the Alt/Cmd functions are really handy but generally just short-cuts on specific tools. Think the precise lense flare thing should be a proper dialogue box TBH.
Great stuff here though!
Grimlock77 Yup. I don't know why adobe just doesn't add it as a button on the lens flare window.
Only knew the two windows trick. Thanks.
+Jim von Tungeln You're welcome!

tutvid And love your stuff as well!
I love both of yours content :x
A great edition to your second trick, when creating your layer, make it a smart object. This allows you to go back and make adjustments to your flair if needed. Positioning, size, brightness or even the type. Great job
Awesome! Great addition, Scott!
The last was the only one I knew! Great stuff as always Jesus!
Thanks!
the 4th trick was the best and most useful and worth the watch all by itself. Thanks!
+Shanda Renee (aphrospice) You're welcome!
+Shanda Renee (aphrospice) YUP. The greatest thing I've learned on Photoshop since Command+J
I consider myself quite an expert but I have learned five new things today. Great tutorial!
Thank you!
You know you aren't an expert if even kids in a high school class have to watch this video for Photoshop class
didn't know any of them, specially the b&w filter...coincidentally today i watched a tutorial from another instructor (not gonna say his name) he went too fast i didn't know what the H he's talking about to the extent that i commented that he should specify that his tutorials must be addressed to super advanced ps users...thank you...that was awesome
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I didn't know any. I especially liked the last tip.

samanen No shame in that!
I knew the b&w>luminosity layer. I used for darker area always on skin
. I learned 4 new tricks. nice vid
The Best Viners Thanks!
Wow, I had low expectations that I'll see tricks that haven't already been shown, because most videos show the same things, but this tutorial was great. I actually only knew one of them. The fourth and fifth trick were most interesting to me. Very cool & helpful, thanks!
+Borislav Borisov 〈Pixelzy〉 You're welcome!
Thank you, good tutorial. Just when i think i know everything about Photoshop you bring me new secrets. I knew about the Black and White Luminosity trick but the other four were new to me. Awesome!
martintroy I'm glad four were new! Thanks for the comment!
Thanks for posting this tutorial. I only knew #5. I follow you regularly and it greatly enhances both the quality of my Photoshop work, as well as my enjoyment when working with the program. Keep up the EXCELLENT work.
Don Berman Thank you! I really appreciate it!
I knew one but not to it's full capacity. Clone. I have always had some issues and this was brilliant. Just did an image that required "light" behind it. Wish I had seen this first. THANKS.
Madeline Faiella you're welcome!
Hmmm, the first trick is useful, I just need to add glow to badly photographed (not by me) products. It needs a little bit tweaking and multiple layers + masking, but results are OK. Thanks :)
***** You're welcome!
No, Jesus, you surprised me. I didn't know ANY of them. The one about using the BW layer is ingenious, and could be a fix for a couple pictures I have been trying to touch up for a long time. Well done!
Sara Stephens Thank you! I'm glad you already found an useful application for one of them! :)
Just subscribed to your channel and received an email about your top 8 vids, and I have to admit, I really didn't know any of these tricks :))). Thank you
Looking forward to more of your videos.

I knew 2. Some of them a re very helpful. I like to see tricks that are increasing workflow. I edit a lot of photos. I am a portriat photographer and edit every photo. I'm known for maticuliously making every photo beautiful. My issue it takes to long.

+Helen Stevens Cool! Now you know them all!
Great tutorial video. I did not know any of these tricks and all of them will be useful to me! Thank you so much for sharing. Also, I like the pace at which you speak, when I am watching tutorials I want to know the information and decide quickly if it is useful to me. I can always go back and watch it again or pause it where I need to absorb the info.
brad simonsen Thanks! I'm the same way. I watch everything on UA-cam at double speed!!! That may be why I talk fast! :)
I had forgot all of them and so glad I revisited this tutorial because I am further along now in my learning CS6... Very Helpful!
+Lisa Maier Thank you! I'm glad you're further along!
Damn. I though I knew a lot until I saw this. I realized I didn’t know any of them. The lens flare placement was the one that drove me nuts for years. I always knew there had to be a better way. Thanks for sharing and allowing the artist in all of us to come out.
You're welcome, pixelking! I'm glad you learned 5 new tricks!
Knew some of these tricks, but learned a few new. Also, good to have a refresh on old tips and tricks. Sometimes I forget. Keep up the great work and helpful tips.
Thanks!
I may have seen these great "tricks" because I saw something that you recorded in the same area a few years ago, but I don't remember what it was. It could have been the same, but if it was I have forgotten. This time I took notes! I don't always learn something new in your tutorials, but I never get bored. Those I remember become important parts of my repertoire..
+Robert Nachman I'm glad my tutorials have been helpful... or that they are at least entertaining!
Normally not that impressed with these kind of videos but you managed to show me four new tricks that I didn't know of. Superb job!
