bro that's a sensational video I always questioned why I couldn't perform for 90min, I never listened to my coach how fitness is really essential, thanks again bro
My pleasure man, yes fitness is massively important, it's one of the few attributes that if you don't work on regularly, you lose quickly. Keep it up mate.
Thanks for the great drills! I have some tips to supplement this workout. Drill # 1 - Change direction on each set so you don't always cut on your outside foot Drill #3 - Cut on different feet each time (OP always cuts on his right foot)
If anyone is wondering if this works or if they should do it, DO IT. When I first started doing this I had exactly a month until tryouts, yesterday I just finished my last day of tryouts and my stamina WAS OFF THE CHARTS. Of course I can get better just like everyone else but I’m happy with my results since I’ve only been doing this for a month around 2-3 times a week. Please please please do this. Thank you 7mlc for being a channel I can always go to to know I’ll get results
@@oskariharju4388 if you want to do a full stamina / fitness seccion , i would recommend you to do the second drill only . Try to do it 20 times and try to rest while walking .
finally someone who knows what they are doing, I’m a winger everyone says I have great finishing dribbling and acceleration but my main problem is my fitness. This will do me a lot thank you.
Hey Michael, I am 15 years old and I have been doing these 3 drills for about 6 months now. I just wanted to say thank you because you helped me out a lot in the fitness aspect of the game. On the 29th of May 2019 in did the "beep test", and at that time my score was 11.6 and today on the 18th of July 2019 I did it again and I saw a verrrryyyy big improvement of 3.7 in my "beep test" results. I got 15.1. Thank you soooooo much for helping me out man, keep up the hard work . Love from Australia 😊
@@novaklaiymz6836 ive been the fittest player at every team ive at & always leave players and coaches shocked during fitness drills. This is benefits me greatly as a fullback as I can outrun my opponents. Stay consistent!
great video, music is a bit loud compared to your voice the second drill is quite familiar from my team training (my coach is a former rapid wien player) we do the drill a bit different: slow jogg->faster jogg(like you said 60-70%)-> sprint->back to jogg(60-70%)-> walk->repeat
Jump Too That's great! It can be fun if you're creative with it, or in your case if you're naturally really good at it, it's enjoyable. I guess I just would prefer shooting training if I had the option 😉
I'm glad I came across your fitness video, I'm really quick with the ball but I lack consistency by implementing your fitness technique to my schedule should see some results, thanks man
During training season when we were just about done building our endurance I broke a bone in my foot which set me back to the beginning. I never fully regained my stamina and got a concussion a month and a half later which set me back below negative. Now I’m not getting played because my stamina is super low so hopefully with this I’ll get back to playing
Do the workout with not max pace. Warm up properly and while ending a sprint take a little jog at the end. Do not put the brakes all out take a jog and then stop.
Nice mate! That is obviously team training, in which I also do fitness training with my team. These are just individual drills to do outside of team training.
Im a winger so thanks for this video. Been wanting to improve my stamina for some time, could you also do a video on how many calories per day and what to avoid etc? Thanks
you can just basically youtube that how many calories you should eat and there will be videos telling you to count it, according to your height and weight.
@SodaPlayZ It depends on a number of factors. Check your heart rate when you wake up in the morning. If it's still elevated, you're probably over-training.
Thanks for understanding soccer and sharing your past experiences, I have recently started watching your videos and you already have helped me. I'm a 13 year old and I'm number 7 playing the 7 role, I'm not super fit but I'm technical, can u make more videos on fitness and agility training? Thank you and keep doing what your doing!
Hey Alex, thanks for the positive feedback mate, really happy to hear you are benefiting from the channel. I actually have a full training session going up tomorrow morning that will give you some good training ideas especially for sharp agile movements which are essential as a winger. I also just made a new fitness video which is gonna be up on the channel next week.
Thank you so much for the video. I needed a video about stamina for my school project and that WAS PERFECT. thank you so much the explanations are great and so is the music. THANK YOU
Honestly, I have good skills as a defensive center back, but I'm a bit chubby, more than the other kids. So do you think this could still help my stamina whilst as I slowly try to shed off the excess weight?
As someone who lost weight I felt like I needed an entire month to learn how to run because I lost coordination since I used to be chubby an was used to pulling a heavy weight
Thanks for the upload. I appreciate your tips and training ideas particularly in relation to fitness, speed and agility. Just an observation, I notice you are short striding in the initial take off when sprinting, within the first 10 metres. Not sure if that is just your accustomed technique or whether you believe it is more beneficial as a footballer to be able to change direction quickly or stop? However if you take a look at sprinters they have more forward lean, a much longer and higher stride and drive though. Perhaps if you try it you will see and improvement in quickness and top end speed?
For the last drills how far the cone from each other and how many rep for that? Because I didn’t hear you mention about it. It’s look like you use 5 cone rights? Just want to make sure.
my coach calls that sprint-jog box the “box of death” and if the seniors on my team don’t pass the ball into the open gate in the fence, then we have to run it. i about died
I would do the stamina session separately. Your muscles will be fatigues after gym work, so would't recommend pushing them this hard and risking an injury.
Question for you mate: At the end you said do this a few times a week, how many times roughly do you recommend? Currently in off/preseason and about to start fitness training. Also I like the first drill you did but the one you did in recent video where instead of smaller box you use 1 whole half seems like a better one. Cheers for any tips you can give👍
I would go with 3 times per week if you're looking to see improvement, but it's different for everyone, so if you're able to do more without fatigue, put in the extra work.
It's not about the amount you do, but the intensity in which you do it. As long as you are giving your maximum effort, you will benefit from the training.

Please dont misunderstood stamina and endurance. I've you have endurance, doesn't mean you have stamina. I run 35 minutes of 5 mph with no stopping, but my stamina is not up for a football match.
Endurance and stamina are the same thing, please do not spread incorrect information. The only reason you’re not able to endure the demands of a match is because you are not training your body specifically for football. Football endurance is intervals of walking, jogging and sprinting. Running a long distance at a constant speed is not replicating the fitness needed for a match, which is why you’re struggling.
