Shit I'm 45 years old, only had sex with one woman. We have 4 boys ,and been married for 28 years strong.
I'm almost 3/4 of a Century old and ditto and 3 boys & 3 girls and we have been married over 50 years our youngest child is about 35 now, our oldest child would have been 50 has she not passed away soon after having her third set of twins, we have over 20 grandchildren and at least 6 great grandchildren so here's wishing you both at LEAST 50 more years of happiness! He’s not wrong about the cooking tip for men. My husband was a chef before he was in the Army and he can cook the most amazing and mouth-wateringingly delicious meals. I had a bone fusion surgery on my foot last week and am on bed rest for the next 6 weeks and I am NOT sad because this means that, once again my husband is in charge of the cooking for a very long time😂❤.
The first time he cooked for me, he served up an amazing dinner of shrimp fettuccine Alfredo with steamed broccoli and a beautiful chocolate cake for dessert. I was already head over heels in love with the guy and this just made his attractiveness skyrocket off the charts. He can also bake, especially breads. He’s taught me many of his recipes over the years but I’ll never be as good as him. 😅

I do agree there ARE different standards in many ways, but when it comes sex and marriage, I don't see any differences. That's just my take, even though I mostly agree with you.

Social media played a huge part in it, as far as giving way easier access to the opposite sex. The lack of fathers in homes, the rise of feminism, and demonizing of a strong moral fiber all played a part in getting us here as well. Not to mention, both sexes are partially responsible for the others faults. As one clip mentioned, what doesn’t work, disappears. That’s why so few men are chivalrous now, it doesn’t work anymore.

Back in the 1990’s my brother in law’s wife was hanging out with a guy who was “just a friend” and it obviously bothered my brother in law. The topic came up while we were having a few drinks and I told my sister in law to call her friend up to come and hang out and enjoy a few drinks with us. She said that it wouldn’t be a good idea but my brother in law caught on to what I was doing and chimed in that it would be a great idea; call him up and tell him to come on over. She flat out refused to call her “just a friend” over. This made it pretty much obvious what was really going on. The truth came out about a month later that she had been banging this other guy for almost a year.
Insult to injury….. My brother in law had started chemotherapy for stomach cancer a couple weeks before she moved out. The day she moved out, my brother in law got pretty drunk (understandable) and her boyfriend was helping her move. My brother in law said a few nasty things to both of them and her boyfriend challenged my brother in law to a fight; even though he was completely wasted. I walked around the corner and told him that he could fight me instead since I was sober and not going through chemo; he wasn’t feeling so tough anymore. My wife and I tried to stay out of it as much as possible but it REALLY bugged me when this guy challenged a drunk guy with cancer to a fist fight. For the remainder of time it took them to pack her stuff out of the house, I stood there and berated the two of them every time they walked by. It was awesome because my brother in law who was sick, depressed, and heartbroken was able to have a good laugh at the horrible stuff I was saying to the two of them.
So this makes a bit more sense… My brother and sister in law rented the top floor of a house and my wife and I rented the basement suite of the same house.
Damn, such a sad story. Good on you for spotting that. And sorry for everything your brother in law went through 😢
