It is exceptionally important for a man to stay calm, as is shown in these situations. Women will manipulate any situation for their advantage, so if you show how sad or betrayed you feel, it lets them flip it on you; If you show how angry it makes you, it lets them flip it on you.
The only action that you should be taking in the moment is having a friend back you up to keep you calm and on point, approach it with cold logic and a predetermined beginning, middle, and end. Anything besides that gives her too much wiggle room, and opens you up to emotions clouding your judgement.

Catching my ex wife cheating was the best outcome i could have hoped for. I was a LEO, came home from work early one day and caught them both buck naked in my bed. I don't think there's any reason you can't remain cordial. Holding on to bitterness and hate is only going to poison you. But there's always going to be a kind of barrier there. Friends require trust and a certain level of intimacy... less than a romance requires, but there has to be some there. You can be nice to your ex, but I don't think you can really be 'friends' in a meaningful sense. Anyone who tries is just keeping a backup romance or someone to take advantage of and that's not good for anyone.

I remember when I used to go to church it seems like doors would open up for me in so many levels, but when I start being distant, things started to shutdown… So yeah, I definitely need to get back on the good habit, and who knows maybe I might find the one in the process.
But really if it happens it happens, I don’t get my hopes up like I used to anymore. I am a kind man in general, and it seems women prefer the bad boys that treat them like they’re useless, I have tried that route, but really you can only fake who you are for so long…

IDK your situation, but the only way to meet people it to be out meeting people yourself. Not saying there is anything wrong with you, but I recommend getting a behavioral therapist and eval the way you interact with the opposite sex. Also, you may have not met the one for you yet. I would pray about it and ask God for His Blessings and Guidance.

The things women say, knowing full well that some men don't handle being disrespected except with violence. I mean the sheer arrogance to think you can just get away with hurting another person and nothing bad is going to happen to you. This is why I don't listen to women who talk about domestic violence as if it's just something men do. Men don't just commit violent crimes against women because they're women. Women actually do terrible things to men thinking they have a right to do anything they want to anyone. Sometimes that was just a massive miscalculation.

@@seanbreen7556 that makes a lot of sense. She did not have a good home life growing up, her mother still Iives with grandma and her dad smokes meth and talks to her maybe a few times a year. It makes sense that’s she is emotionally under developed. It’s a shame really because she had some great relationship qualities besides that. Dated and lived with her for 4 years
