Way to "embrace the suck" dude. Shame you couldn't have better weather for your trip. Looked like a lot of slippery rocks. Glad ya made it back to the car safe. Must say that you hide the Boston accent much better than I ever could...lol. Wicked cool video. Stay safe and have fun.
Thank you for watching!!!🙌 Definitely a character building trip. Even thought the weather wasn't that great, I still had a great time. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for reaching out🤙 and my accent definitely changed a bit since I was living in Virginia for a while but its coming back 😂
I miss Mt. Washington (been out west since 2016), used to be my home away from home. Have been to the summit around 40 times in winter/spring/summer/fall and in some pretty intense winter storms. Great job out there, and on that descent as well. I've seen all types up there, and some people that I have no clue how they survived. If you saw the white cross (McAdams/Chadwick memorial) near the Cog railroad as you were heading down from the summit, my buddy and I rebuilt that over 20 years ago. He carried up the cross and angle iron (which were pretty damn heavy), and I carried up the 25lb bucket of cement (and subsequently made several trips up to the summit building for water for the cement).
That's incredible!! Carrying all that stuff up must have been a tough job. I would love to get some serious gear and go for a winter ascent! Completely different beast I'm sure. It really is so beautiful out there. I'm glad you've had time to enjoy it out there as much as you did and hope you find your way back to the whites! Thanks for watching and reaching out🙌
Seems like a heck of a trek you just endured brother! Glad you made it out safe. Great vid!
