I assume that finding the Vassir-Didanat Cave is what you are talking about, but i'll list it out a bit easier for you. Go to Balmora by Silt Strider. Go behind the silt strider and follow the river to that bridge, it's only around a minute walk from Balmora. Cross the bridge. The tomb is pretty much a strait shot from that bridge. give or take 30 seconds to walk strait from the bridge to the mine. Return to Balmora. Assume you can figure out the vendor stuff. Go to Caldera by Mages guild. Go out the north west exit to the city(go left from the mages guilds). Follow the road right at the first turn. Left at the second turn. If you reach the third turn, you went too far. Either Follow the signs to Gnaar Mok(follower transport quest) or kill that lady to get the boots of blinding speed. Go To Vivec St. Ohlms Plaza. Go to the bottom of the Haunted House to Dram. Get Daedric weapon. Go to Vivec Redoran Canton. Go to Dralor Manor at the top of the canton. Go upstairs and steal the key from the Dresser. Go back out to the canton. Enter the treasury. Go downstairs all the way. Open the door with the key. Wait for Ordinator to leave the room. Loot everything.
If you take spear (best choice low level tbh) you can go loot Berandas fortress south of Gninis. Just get the aversion ring the Caldera trader sell, then go to Berandas. The First 2 floors dont have lots of foes, but when you go underground, there is a lot of Dremoras and 2 winged twilights at the end to guard the Apostle boots, one of the hightest armor rate in the game (and worth 55000 gold). And there is a room where a spear and a daedrick dagger are sticked on the rock. You can also get the Denstagmer ring in the tomb on the other side of the river of Gninis to get 30% resistance in all elements :)
Hilarious and informative video. Thumbs up! Thanks for the tip about the daedric weapons rewarded in the Vivec quest. I also like breaking the game really early. Here are a few « must-have’s » that one can grab really early : -killing umbra (right next to suran) : full orcish armor + sweet artifact longsword. Just make sure to drink a ton of those beverages that lower intellect and increase strenght. You can basically 1 shot the poor dude. -grabbing daedric greaves (dren plantation) : at the slave plantation near vivec (to the east if I’m correct). The greaves are just sitting there on a shelf. A mark/recall potion combo and they’re yours. Just open the inventory, grab the greaves with the inventory still open, and drink a recall potion. You’ll just vanish with the greaves in your bags with no bounty - full ebony set : you can grab this one in a haunted cave. I think it’s sarano or sadrano ancestral cave, north of vivec. You can try sprinting in there at level 1, grab the gear and recall as well (some ghost and nasty things inside) -artifact chest armor (lord’s mail?) : you can grab this one from a bandit in a semi-underwater cave near ebonheart. Pretty easy fight -daedric boots (dwemer ruins, near suran). Sitting on a shelf as well. Some enemies to fight, but might be doable sprinting + recall. Anyways kudos for the fun video. Definitely want to play the game again now 🤣 All these are really easy to grab early in the game
or you could skip the armor entirely and get a bonkers 80% chameleon amulet for a not that difficult fight up in the very north west, there's just too many ways to break morrowind it's surprising when you actually hit difficulty
That makes it so you can sell him something like a glass dagger and 2 skooma for 5000, then wait a day and buy them back and sell him an ebony spear for 10000. You'll keep ending up with +5000 gold everytime. It's all Mathematics lol😅
@@elcid6301Plus you’re still having to buy back items, but it won’t stack forever if you can’t hit certain prices, and it wouldn’t be smart to try to do that with something super expensive

@@ildar.ishalin.chelovek I know right? Reading the above was awesome. Ps: And I thought looting the free enchanted battle-axe in the stump near the Seyda Neen lighthouse 'was' a good start for an axe user... 😅
My friend and I both got this game when it came out, he found the Boost of Blinding Speed and that equipment cracked us up. Gave us a few ideas for D&D items
I'm just visioning the door being open ajar, and an arm reaches in, pulls open the drawer, rummages around for the key, then politely closes the draw and door.
I made a pair of travel boots once. I can’t remember the exact stats but it was like 5000 jump for 2 seconds and then like 1 slow fall. You can literally jump over large portions of land and travel across the map.
Another hack that was super hard to pull off but doable, you can get a full set of daedric armor from the guy in Tel Fyr. Use desintegrate armor and then pick pocket the armor off of the guy. Use calm humanoid so you still talk to him and finish the quest line and the thread of fate is not broken. It works.
I love this community I love how everyone really is trying to make the run better and dude j love to see that reminds me of warframe feels warm to be there and I love that about that community everyone's nice and welcoming but you do always have some toxic people which is fun to encounter once in awhile but yeah just ranting woke up at 2 wtf you think I'm gonna do
The mudcrab merchant found east of Vivec has more gold. You also need to buy back items you sold him worth less than 10k each, so that you can sell them later when his gold restocks. Otherwise if you sell 20k or 100k value you can only get 10k (or 5k for creeper). But if you sell an item that's 30k and buy 20k of items you previously sold, you can sell those piecemeal over the next days to get the full value of the goods.
Godddd I love morrowind, favorite game of all time. I knew of these all except the mine one, never knew about that! For the key in the manor tho, I never knew u could hide behind the door, so I would always just steal it and BOOK IT out of there haha great vid man!
I think I you're getting the Bobs first, you should just run over to get randagulfs gauntlets. Head over to the dragon bone cuirass quickly. Than travel up to get Eildons ward. The constant effect gives an incredible boost and you become significantly more OP.
Or that other one near gnisis with 30% resist for the 3 elements which you can just silt strider direct from seyda neen or 20% resist magicka paralysis and poison near dagon fel another ancestral tomb. Damn these random tombs with op loot
i always went straight to balmora an grab the sword of white woe hidden on top of a cabinet in a guard tower i spun out when i found this when i was a kid
Just go to Suran and kill the pawnbroker. There’s a glass dagger, 5 mithril darts, and an ebony bracer in there. The smith has a few pieces of orcish armor too, if you don’t mind bumping him off as well. Also you can grab the two swords of white woe any time, they’re on top of the dressers in the guard tower in Balmora and Suran, respectively.
see, what you're gonna do is you're gonna grab the highest damage output item is the tradehouse you can, like a silver claymore (long blade recommended) or something big, then you're gonna go to pelagiad and head east until you make it to the dren plantation. this place will be your gold mine. firstly, you're going to head up to the raised shack/guard tower over where the slaves are, you're gonna enter, quicksave, and attempt to kill the dark elf in netch leather as quickly as possible, he has a daedric dai katana so you might have to reload a few times but you'll get him eventually. Then you can head down to the shacks where you initially came in and systematically eliminate the inhabitants, they ALL have higher level gear, scoop it up and sell what you dont use. next clear out the secondary building next to the manor, there's a nearly complete set of dwemer armor and a daedric claymore (the dai katana weighs less), then clear out the manor and loot the armor up by dren (thanks dren!) and hold on to the indoril helm for later. Along this journey you should have found a slave key, take it and use it to free the slave outside, this makes all the people outside hostile but doesn't give you a bounty thus allowing you to kill all of them. There is one archer at the top of the manor you'll have to find a levitate potion to deal with, but afterwards you get an entire base to yourself! lastly, once you've gained a few levels and decided what gear to utilize you can head to vivec with that indoril helm from earlier, put that thing on and talk to one of the guards, he'll loose his damn mind and try to kill you along with all his buddies and now you can farm their gear and get combat experience without gaining a bounty! (Be very careful about going to mournhold after this lol)
You can also collect the 4 mushrooms in Seyda Neen (Luminous Russula, Violet Coprinus, Bungler's Bane, and Hypha Facia) and then do the first Mage quest in Balmora. The Second quest which needs you to swap out the fake soul gem lets you steal soul gems worth around 70k gold. This is faster then the Redoran Vault heist
You can also use the Winged Twilight soul gem from that quest with an Exquisite Ring/Amulet (either tax collector quest in Seyda Neen or buy from vendor in Balmora) to create a ranged absorb health on use enchant. Now you can kill nearly every single enemy in the game. Daedric weapons/armor completely pointless when you have a machine gun ring.
I'm going to add a comment in here about a stumbling block with this plan: Unless you spec into magic to start with, your character will have a VERY hard time successfully casting the "Boots" resist magicka 100% spell. I tried this last night and I had a FIVE PERCENT chance to cast. It never worked and I had to resort to tgm to get it to cast. A Nord with no specializations in magic like you show will almost never be able to cast Resist Magicka at level 1 and thus not be able to use the Boots of Blinding Speed.
Unfortunately that isn't feasible when running morrowind anti cheese and mods designed to not game the game...interestingly the route showcased here is still "immune" to these mods I'd rate.
@@janvisagie231 hm could you at least grab the dragon bone cuirass? You could theoretically get it at level one but its behind level 100 locks if I remember correctly which makes it more difficult imo.

@@CoffeeNutGaming I do like the tricks and some of the secrets you found. I only played this game casually some 20 years ago when it came out. Mostly, I have broken the law and paid with my blood (wrong Elder Scrolls).
Theres a mudcrab that has twice the gold of the scamp. Its east of viviec on a tiny island right next to a dwemer ruin(which is just south east of a deadric ruin). When youre in balmora buy some mark and recall potions. Hit the mudcrab spot with a mark potion, then steal the loot and transport. Cant tell you how much easier it is to get full value with a 10k vendor over 5k.
Honestly the best thing to combo with the boots of blinding speed is any jump enchant (or spell if you can cast it) that's 50 points and over. Assuming you have a way to negate the fall damage (slowfall, high acro, or levitate 1s) it's by far the best way to travel. My current mage run has as of writing ~85-90 acro so the fall damage she takes is nearly nothing, and I have my trusty pair of jump pants that have an enchant of 70 for 1s. The game is really generous with allowing you to take full advantage of its systems, but also restrictive in some aspects.
My method: 1. Get Gold 2. Go to Vivec Foriegn Quarter 3. Buy Paralyze Scroll and several Red Death Scrolls 4. Taunt an Ordinator 5. Kill him woth the Scrolls take his stuff. I never do it though because it makes the game boring for me.
I spent one full day abusing alchemy to get tons of gold and maxing out every attribute from trainers and then raiding Gnisis daedra fort before starting any quest. Hope the game doesnt get too easy
I cant resist helping myself to the ordinator armor in the hall of justice with only an apprentice pick with no skill and a intervention scroll from Areille.
Pick the daedric katana or axe for more gold value.i think the axe has the largest value which katana is long blade. Nuf said about long blades in morrowind
If you want a few daedric armour go to drens plantation just make sure to be prepared. Once you steal the armour run because there is a guy who is invisible with a paralyse dagger. You will make a lot of money out of that plantation i also recommend making a unlock 100 enchantment straight away so you can break into the vivec vaults to make money. Lastly. Tribunal temple guards armour is expensive so i killed them after i got the ring to teleport to vivec and the temple. And marked the mudcrab merchant. Made 3 million very quick but i suggest leaving that until you literally can literally take on a person who can kill you in one hit even with powerful armour and level 25. So leave that for later on. Lol i found ameliexa (cant spell) to be easier to kill over her own guards…..
why not go to the treasury instead or ghostgate you can loost easily 200k worth of gold to the creeper from each and just buy a mark/recall potion from naclara
I did this without making that spell literally found armour that helped with that. If you finally do the storyline in tribunal you get a resist magika constant effect ring from the king once you kill him. Uhm he is extremely hard to kill plus his guards. I have completed both dlcs + storyline. Doing a new play through. Lol dagoth can be killed so easily at the beginning i think i killed him on level 5 i forget how i did that without the wrathguard
Guys i love Morrowind is still going strong till this day, i loved this game when i was young. Does anyone know where i can sell all this stuff though lol the one state in the video only allows 5000 coins and i’m a bit tight with coins and want to get as much as I can lol. Many thanks x
Sadly there is no merchant in the game that can buy the expensive items outright. I suggest you follow the below with either the mudcrab merchant (10k pool) or Creeper (5k pool) 1. Sell Creeper item for 5k. You now have 5k. Creeper has 0. 2. Wait 24hrs. Creeper has another 5k. Buy item from Creeper for 5k. Creeper now has 10k. Sell Creeper item for 10k. You now have 10k. Creeper has 0. 3. Wait 24 hrs. Creeper has another 5k. Buy item from him with your 10k. Creeper now has 15k. Sell him item for 15k. You now have 15k. Creeper 0 Repeat until rich
Just started playing morrowind and all I can say about this guide is I hope your editing got better these last few years. @@OlaffLudwig Vvardenfell would not be the same without Mr. Crab and Mr. Skamp. mudcrabs i would assume similar to real life crabs... i wouldnt think their lifespan is too long... however the skamp can live for an extremely long time.
@@fooball4589 one thing you can do is sell items for their max price and sleep until they get more gold... sell more do that until you can buy everything back ... at that point you can sell something for a massive amount of gold and then do the same process to sell the smaller items again. that is how i sell daedric gear for full price. it takes a long time. but you can get more money than you'd ever need relatively quickly.
@Jonny Croxville well you certainly could do that... however what i mentioned is not a cheat. its vanilla gameplay. You can use it to train your skills up very quickly.
Maybe you already figured it out by now. You need a resist magic 100% for 1 second on self. Immediately after casting the spell open your inventory and equip the boots. You need to be in the inventory before the 1 second spell duration expires. But once the boots are equipped while your resist is up you will have immunity to the blind until you unequip the boots as it only applies the effect on equip.
the way I made bank by level 5, I had already gained 10,000 septims by taking all my dwemer artifacts armor and wepons and selling them to creeper in caldera. he buys it all for full price and has 5000 selling gold. so I always go 2 him. oh and he's in one of the orc houses upstairs in caldera. oh and doesnt have a disposition of you, there's no disposition bar when selling to him.
The name he gave the person has the same last name is Me and almost the same first name is Me besides two different letters (in the first name), this is nuts!
Your stamina has to be full and it doesn't hurt to drink some fortify luck potions. And make sure the spell only lasts one second. That's all you need to open your inventory and put the boots on.
man this video is almost good, but it SKIPS SO MUCH. Like the resist magicka spell, i did that exact same thing, but because he skips the part where you dont leave both of the things at 100, i spent hours trying to cast a spell with 0 chance of it working.
It's better killing a indoril guards, wearing their armor and then just talking to others who will attack you but not give you a bounty and sell their armor to the creeper. Do that over and over and train. It's better than this.
1. Creeper 0. Repeat until rich.
Dark brotherhood gear has great round values to use as exchange coin, like 500 1000 and so on. Also you can use soulgems and a glass dagger or other stuff that are round 5k. For small values or to make ou of most of the cash you can Also use dwemer coins that are worth 50 septims each and I think in your first dwemer ruin I got out with like 100 of those.

You should not follow this guide if you're a Morrowind noob. Just play normally then you can experiment with min maxing strategies later for fun.
Here are a few « must-have’s » that one can grab really early :
-killing umbra (right next to suran) : full orcish armor + sweet artifact longsword.
You’ll just vanish with the greaves in your bags with no bounty
- full ebony set : you can grab this one in a haunted cave. I think it’s sarano or sadrano ancestral cave, north of vivec. You can try sprinting in there at level 1, grab the gear and recall as well (some ghost and nasty things inside)
-artifact chest armor (lord’s mail?) : you can grab this one from a bandit in a semi-underwater cave near ebonheart. Pretty easy fight
-daedric boots (dwemer ruins, near suran). Sitting on a shelf as well. Some enemies to fight, but might be doable sprinting + recall.
Anyways kudos for the fun video. Definitely want to play the game again now 🤣
All these are really easy to grab early in the game
or you could skip the armor entirely and get a bonkers 80% chameleon amulet for a not that difficult fight up in the very north west, there's just too many ways to break morrowind it's surprising when you actually hit difficulty
i literally speedrunned through Sarano and couldnt find anything "ebony like" 💀
The problem is that the creeper doesn't have more than 5k gold to trade ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That makes it so you can sell him something like a glass dagger and 2 skooma for 5000, then wait a day and buy them back and sell him an ebony spear for 10000. You'll keep ending up with +5000 gold everytime. It's all Mathematics lol😅
Yea but how long will items in the inventory be for sale?
@@elcid6301Plus you’re still having to buy back items, but it won’t stack forever if you can’t hit certain prices, and it wouldn’t be smart to try to do that with something super expensive

My friend and I both got this game when it came out, he found the Boost of Blinding Speed and that equipment cracked us up. Gave us a few ideas for D&D items
You got the Limeware platter I see. Already a step ahead of Micky D
The Limeware Platter is a pathway to gold some consider to be...unnatural - Dagoth, probably
I'm just visioning the door being open ajar, and an arm reaches in, pulls open the drawer, rummages around for the key, then politely closes the draw and door.
IIRC there is a daedric dagger and an ebony short sword in the waterworks under the Redoran canton in Vivec. That's another twenty thousand.
But if you sell an item that's 30k and buy 20k of items you previously sold, you can sell those piecemeal over the next days to get the full value of the goods.
coffee nut you're making my morrowind run so much more fun with all these guides. makes me wanna explore morrowind more with how fun these items are!
The constant effect gives an incredible boost and you become significantly more OP.
if you are magic user there is nice ring that increase int and will in ancestral tomb near sedya neen
Shhhhhh 🤫 don't give out the secret! I may or may not be using that ring in my next video haha
Or that other one near gnisis with 30% resist for the 3 elements which you can just silt strider direct from seyda neen or 20% resist magicka paralysis and poison near dagon fel another ancestral tomb. Damn these random tombs with op loot
there are times when i never change my Redoran watchman helm. it fit some obscure styles too well to consider any better armor
You can also bring Pemenie back to Caldera and ask a guard about her, learn of a bounty ask her about it and then just kill her 🙃
i always went straight to balmora an grab the sword of white woe hidden on top of a cabinet in a guard tower i spun out when i found this when i was a kid
What’s the point of making a best start video if you cut out half the stuff? How are new players supposed to know where to go. I’ve been lost forever
Needed this for the daedric weapons I now have a daedric spear thanks man
Love this, might give it a go for thr gold to train my toon for max endurance soon as possible (for max health)
Great guide my dude
Thanks man! Glad you found it helpful!
The running stances in this game never cease to amuse me.
I'm surprised you didn't go to the ancestral tomb right outside of Caldera and farm the deadric that spawn in there.
Elaborate please?
@@HeyHax ah. Soooo loop fortify Intel , make a few fortify strengh and endurance potions, and murder for profit?
@@cjdziesiuta1995 yeah give or take. Not only you'll be getting gold easily but collect good gear as well
Daedra only spawn with dwarven weapons until you level up sufficiently. They're one of the few leveled encounters in Morrowind.
@@HeyHax true, but I tried it, and I think I prefer just selling 5k potions to creeper for money
Thanks man, saved me some

I showed up 7 months late to say 'they are the same picture' :D I loved breaking Morrowind then and I still love it now!
The best start is pickup up the scroll of a thousand flights and then die. After reloading, enjoy the game for 200 hours.
How does a channel with this many videos with so few subscribers. Videos are made amazingly organized and polish but still fun
Indeed the best morrowind run
Theres a mudcrab that has twice the gold of the scamp. Its east of viviec on a tiny island right next to a dwemer ruin(which is just south east of a deadric ruin). When youre in balmora buy some mark and recall potions. Hit the mudcrab spot with a mark potion, then steal the loot and transport. Cant tell you how much easier it is to get full value with a 10k vendor over 5k.
Great guide, my character went from noob to beast mode.
The game is really generous with allowing you to take full advantage of its systems, but also restrictive in some aspects.
bro I've done so much in this game before... when you cheesed that key I laughed my ass off.
There are so many small tricks like that in Morrowind. I love this game haha
That Jerome Powell joke was a solid 11/10
My method:
1. Get Gold
2. Go to Vivec Foriegn Quarter
3. Buy Paralyze Scroll and several Red Death Scrolls
4. Taunt an Ordinator
5. Kill him woth the Scrolls take his stuff.
I never do it though because it makes the game boring for me.
What I typically do is go straight to the treasuries in Vivec. Piss off the key keepers till they attack. Sack the treasuries. Go to mudcrab
Haha! He did the waiting trick
Dude Boots is EXACTLY what i name that same spell thats awesome now im wondering how many other people do that
*one of us one of us*
Creeper only has 5000 though.
That's the other stumbling block in this plan: Either you're going to have to take a massive hit on the gold you get from selling, or keep the items.
Cool video, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!🤘
woo didn't expect to find a morrowind channel today but I am not complaining
Melee and Morrowind are the best games ever made 2002 was such a good year for gaming
Love you dude but as someone who has pet rats 2:20 made me go grrrrr. I love that they changed rats to an imaginary rodent in skyrim
I spent one full day abusing alchemy to get tons of gold and maxing out every attribute from trainers and then raiding Gnisis daedra fort before starting any quest. Hope the game doesnt get too easy
i came for the tips and stayed for the beard
I cant resist helping myself to the ordinator armor in the hall of justice with only an apprentice pick with no skill and a intervention scroll from Areille.
This guy hiding something dark behind that smile
Pick the daedric katana or axe for more gold value.i think the axe has the largest value which katana is long blade. Nuf said about long blades in morrowind
Shots at the fed reserve in first min, insta sub 😂

Sadly there is no merchant in the game that can buy the expensive items outright. I suggest you follow the below with either the mudcrab merchant (10k pool) or Creeper (5k pool)
Creeper 0

So I cast the resist magic on self but when I put the boots on, I'm still blinded. What gives?
