That’s so cool I want one but I know it ain’t easy having one but congrats 🍾
The tank looks great and giving a second chance to an animal in need. However as a Floridian take my advice in never ever let anyone or you place a hand inside the tank they bite hard, can’t kill you but can easily do damage to your hand or fingers. There are some reptile handling tongs that you can use. And the other one, they grow very fast so is going to outgrow the enclosure soon.
He doesn't mind to be held, he's becoming more relaxed. Daily handling will get him more comfortable with me.

Hey Matt congrats bud. I personally work with caiman and as babies the less handling the better so they don't get stressed out. With the feeding at the end, definitely cut it into smaller pieces in the beginning til he gets a bit bigger and used to everything. Beside that make sure your Temps are good and maybe add just a bit more water and you'll have a happy, healthy caiman.
