how are you managing to keep your image centered i find that if i use the ipad in landscape mode i keep having to adjust my look to appear that its looking into the camera ….. thanks for the video
Please help me understand how you appear to be looking into the camera in landscape mode. The camera may be following me around with center stage, but I appear to be looking off to the right because the camera is on the right and not centered. In this video you appear to be making eye contact with the viewer - how are you doing that?
I wonder just the same!
Fantastic video! I was having doubts about the use of center stage and you just make it clear!
I just purchased a new ipad pro, but for some reason i don't have that "centerstage" available? but the camera still follows me
I love the way you make your video 😍😍😍
The feature is not showing when i go to FaceTime in settings, i have the latest OS installed, can you help me out with this issue, thanks!
I opened iPad 9th gen today. Cameras seem blurry. Front and rear. I checked settings all match my o,d iPad. Any ideas?
I have I iPad Pro 2022 and I updated it and I still don’t have it. Do I have to pay to have that?
Hello ! does center stage works with other apps to record video ?
is this available on the macbook pro :)
Is this exclusive to iPads?
so I just got a new iPad and its the iPad Air 4th generation and I was wondering if anyone knew if center stage could work on it?
The ipad air 4th doesnt have the feature
@@khairilmizwan6944 is not going
The setting doesnt show idkw
You either need to open the app FaceTime first or have the wrong iPad that does not work with centerstage
@@jillgarrett3882 is not going to
does it work only in facetime or it works in watsapp/telegram and other messenger?
Does it work with what's app or Facebook messenger?
Can it work on iphone
I don't have the center stage option, why? I have a 12 Pro max
I discovered this by accident. Thanks
It doesn’t work I don’t have the option yet I have an iPad pro
Thank you, this was killing me!
How to stop it???
I don’t still have it on my iPad
Great demo Thanks so much
Man I have the new iPad Pro 11 inch and I don’t have the center stage option anywhere…..Danm
You have to open FaceTime first, before it shows in settings.
Or you could pick up an xbox one with the kinect sensor for cheap and just ignore apples 10+ year old technology.
@@BlueManRedManYellow I don't get it
I came here to learn how to disable it, I can't stand this feature. Thanks anyhow, this was a useful video.
You swipe down on the right side while you’re FaceTiming and the video effects will appear and center staging will be applied. Click it to disable the feature!
Great. Thanks
Nah it was zooming in when far away as if it was sentient
If only the iPhone 13 had this feature
It’s great for a zoom fitness class.
I got ipad 9th gen and do the same
iPhones should have this option too
Ridiculous that when you plug your iPad into the Apple Studio Display you can’t use the display web cam which is higher and at a much better angle and still has Center Stage.
I don’t see it
Does this work on the gen 3 ipad pro
Does the camera actually move, or is it magic? It seems as if it moves.
It’s cropping it
It’s an iOS feature not just unique to the iPad Pro. My basic iPad has it.
@@ittodakimasu4814 but you present it as an iPad Pro only feature. It’s not. My 9.7 baseline middle iPad has center stage.
@@jaredwhite489 is not going tomorrow
Such a shame that it is not on all apple devices
This is cool

There’s a whole Lotta information that I do not need to know all I want to know is how to turn the feature off.
I don't think it needs 4 minutes to explain how to turn it off
Seriously, there is no Center Stage in the actual camera app.. ?!! the camera does not have center stage?! my god, crApple ... Center Stage is whole point for us who are actors, dancers and singers to do auditions from home during corona and performances...
Wow, question: you can film video with center stage???
@@jeahlashelifestyle6816 seeems that would have been pretty smart... but seems like apple did not let us use it in the camera app!

Does it works with Filmic Pro Apps? (This is to capture a clean hdmi-out and use my iPad as an extra camera input into my video switcher).
Stupidest thing about this feature is that the wonderful 12mp WIDE ANGLE camera is not fully usable during facetime now. When center stage is turned off, you get a semi-zoomed-in limited field of view. I thought that center stage would be great as a personal trainer working online, but it focuses too much on my face when I demo an exercise. Often it cuts off my legs from view. Typical apple tech, does more to constrain the use of the features than to liberate and give choice to the user.
Ironically the camera position on the ipad is not at center during video call in landscape. Our eyes will always look awkward especially when camera is near face
How to turn it off on apple ipad 9th generation please tell
Same problem here.. And when I minimize video call in Facebook messenger to see other messages I can't maximize it again nor move.. I'm using iPad 9th too

Hey There! Thanks for this video. I've looked all over for info on Facebook Live and Center Stage and I can't seem to find any. I'm assuming it does work for Facebook Live but is that something you've tested and can confirm?? Thanks in advance!!
I'm having the same issue
No such option in iPadOS 15.4.1
Yes, but does it work with ordinary video recording? Especially with a teleprompter app? Ideal combination if possible!!
cool
My sister has this and when she and her husband, who has a darker skin ton than she, are on videochat, the camera tends to focus on her. Maybe unintentional techno-bias, but they need to fix this.
Simple. No frills or tech lingo. Liked it.
How do you do it on iPhone
Is that available in ipad pro 2020?
does it work in camera roll ?
Can the 12pro do same ?
Is it only on the m1 iPad pro
now on the mini 6 and 9th gen ipad
Does it work with the camera app itself? Hopefully I can use it one day to make UA-cam videos.
Awesome video btw!
Yes. Only on the iPad Pro right now. But you can also use it with Zoom and Teams.

Thanks for the tutorial. Works for me now.
Does center stage work on other apps like Google Meet?
Late reply, but yes it does
@@itz_coldbot I can
thanks, would you like to make a video where whole body is showed/filmed (by center stge)? I believe many trainers , those who zoom their sport classes, would appreciate such review. 1) how to whole body is shown, 2) how camera follows when I jump, walk, go in different positions, 3) showing two trainers on camera, 4) how quickly I can switch on/off the feature while teaching....
But why would make the camera just decide to look around your room when you are on a call? Like I will be sitting in frame and talking and the camera will start looking around the room on its own, zooming in and out at random
i hope to the 14 series they will add this center stage
I've a doubt , in order to use center stage functionality does the caller need to have an ipad as well ? Or in case I'm calling from ipad, can I only use center stage if the person I'm calling also has an ipad or does it work with any other device?
works with any other device
