We have just returned from our second trip up the Stuart Hwy, excellent road and no issues with Road Trains, I’ve noticed that most if not all will move over a little to give you extra passing room, great drivers hey.. our Caravan rig weighs in at around 6000kg and our usual cruise speed is 95kmh, if trucks are catching up from behind, just pull over well in advance..

few fun fact for the readers, your speedometer is not set to 100 from the factory , some are up to 10 % under , trucks are set to 100 some road trains have to do 90 , and keep left if not overtaking is a law that many dont follow , reason being is it increases your chance of a head on , same applies on the freeway , have fun and safe driving
