The thing that amazes me about australian trucking is the mix of american long nose trucks and european cabover trucks, plus the fact that they're road-trains. I have a passion for trucks and trains, so australian road-trains are the perfect match for me! My favourite configurations of road trains are the triple road-train (3 semitrailers with 2 dolly), and the Double B-Double road-train (1 semitrailer with 5th wheel on the back + 1 normal semitrailer, times 2, both sets connected with a dolly in the middle)

There are length allowance/restrictions for road trains and combinations, it varies a lot from state to state. I always saw typical 53.5metre "triples" in outback QLD.
